Well, with a bad pvc, oil can find its way into the intake track.

This is why I used do acrankcase vent kit on my hobby cars. But that's a subject for another thread.

By now it should be clear that the problem here is the uninformed owner who did not do proper maintenance on the car. Use of wrong type and grade of oil caused sludge to build up in the engine.
Bad Nigeria fuel is also a problem but not using fuel injection cleaner made things worse.
