It is hard to figure out the advice that you desire because, you don't seem to be making any query except that you narrated your experiences.
Well, I suspect that you stated in your Irish application form that you have no relative in Ireland, therefore, if my suspicion is right, then you have (probably) been banned from the UK as well as from Ireland as both countries share same immigration database.
nop i wasnt banned cus we requested if i was banned and was told no. officially by an immigration lawyer.

Could you please make your query more comprehensive?
all what am saying is that i intend to apply for a uk visa and my last application to ireland was denied. the EO said i didnt write that my dad resides in ireland. well my biological father is in ireland but my stepdad stays in nigeria who had been the one sponsoring all my up keep, travel trips and all for 18 yrs before three years ago i and my dad reunited. i had 5 irish visas granted before the last one and afterwards ve collected 2 schengen visas and i intend to renew it by august before facing uk. so now whats ur advice?
Travel / Re: Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas by d2ddayo(m): 4:54pm On Jul 17, 2014
good day, please i just want to ask this question, i was denied irish visa in 2010 after 5 different irish visas granted. reasons given were flimsy excuses. nways afterwards i had applied twice to schengen states visa which i was granted. i intend to renew my schengen again this august and afterwards apply for a uk visit visa. i want to know, what is the possibility of being granted and used without defaulting any immigration rule. all necessary documentations would be provided with a balance of bout 500hk. i am still single and never applied for a uk visa before except back when i was a young lad when my parents took me down. the major reason for my irish refusal was that the VO said i didnt disclose that my dad resides in ireland.... but the truth is that my dad was away when i was 12yrs and it was my stepfather who had been the one sponsoring all my trips from way back 2006 while i was in school. now i really want to apply for this countries by HIS grace, and i know the uk embassy will also ask if ever denied a visa within the last five years or so which i intend to state my reason. please i just want your candid advice on this. thank you.

We don't give out reasons for not issuing visas, and we don't give advice. Every interviewer looks at many factors before making a decision about whether to issue the visa, however.

i am writing this in good faith, i hope it changes my perception about the united state embassy now. i applied for a visit visa in 2012 to visit my uncle and his family but was denied on the basis of " my uncle traveled in 2008 with a visit visa which he didnt return back to nigeria but got married there and started a family there". i didnt know about this though because i have always been travelling to europe twice yearly since 2005 and i always observe immigration rules because i have my strong tie here in niigeria. well the VO checked my passports and saw all my travel histories but based on that i wasnt granted. well i felt bad a bit but got over it. on january 3rd 2014, after i applied again, this time to visit my best friend who is in the US army, who sworn that if my visa is being granted to visit him and his family that i will return back to nigeria. definately because i have my own family here, i have a very good job here as well and i am entitled to a 2 weeks yearly vacation. but to my surprise again, the VO checked my passports saw all my travel history and even said i see u travel alot and what for which i told her business and vacation. but before i know what was goin on, she had brought a blue paper again and said am sorry the visa cant be granted today. now my question is just this, why is it so? i dont ve any intention to stay back i love my job, my family is here and all. all i wanted is to visit my bestfriend and see my god daughter. been two years now we last saw eachother. why is there a mistake i made or what exactly shoudl i do?

The Irish embassy gives out a 5 year ban for deception not a 10 year ban. All Fingerprints go through the UK Database. The Irish knows everyone who has been refused a UK Visa and the British know everyone that has been refused a Irish Visa anyways teh back of the passport is stamped
ok pipu, what i will like to know with anyone who seem to have a back up to his/ her arguement is how many years is irish ban and what do i do? wait till it gets lifted or still get a lawyer over it since i ve an objection to their claim. thank you

How exactly is Vic's disagreeing with the opinions of others discourteous? He's not editing or hiding other people's posts so I don't see how he's preventing others from 'expressing their mind'.

All I see Vic doing is providing FACT rather than the subjectives or 'pray to God for a visa' that others use. I agree at times he does this in a very direct (borderline rude manner) but hey I'd much rather get his advice than guidance filtered down based on heresay. Vic provides advice that's relevant, considered and doesn't see me wasting my time or money.

thank you for concern over this issue of mine, please i will implore us all up in here not to take it otherwise which might lead we insulting eachother. i believe the essence of this thread is for us all to learn and advert future mistakes which makes no man an island up in here. thank you vic, dideoluayantund and everyone who had in one way contributed to this issue of mine. now the major thing is first i didnt lie and i ve to look and use all ways to clear this wrong accusation! yea i know ireland and uk share the same immigration rules, et al so does that mean i wont be able to apply to the uk till anoda 8 years. i believe this can be reviewed once i get a good lawyer and i prove my innocence to this. what is the way forward is my question up in here. thanks

I can only wonder why anyone would tell you to reapply for the visa knowing fully well that you were refused on the ground of "DECEIT". Well, you can reapply if you want to bin your money and waste your time.

By the way, I insist that whether the UK or Ireland, the two countries shares same immigration database:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnT5aq0vx_Y
THANK YOU FOR YOUR RESPONSE SO FAR, BUT ONE THINK I NEEDE TO CONFIRM UP IN HERE, IN THIS SITUATION I DIDNT WITHHOLD ANY INFO, NEITHER DID I TELL A LIE, THE ONLY THING IS WHAT HAPPENED WHICH I HAD TOLD.... SO NOW DOES THAT MEAN I CANT WRITE THEM TO CHALLENGE THIS WITH ALL PROVES I BELIEVE THERE SHOULD BE ROOM FOR APPEAL THROUGH A LAWYER CUS I ENEVR LIED AND SAME THING I SHOULD WRITE IF I INTEND TO APPLY TO THE UK EMBASSY. IT DEFINITELY IS ON THE FORM IF EVER REFUSED AND THEY I WILL EXPLAIN AND ALSO A LETTER FROM AN IMMIGRATION LAWYER BOTH FROM HERE AND THERE. PLS WHAT IS UR ADVICE?

It seems you have not been following his post and therefore you are giving him advice on the situation that you are not familiar with.
The guy (d2ddayo) had been refused a visa, and by his own admission, he was refused on the ground of "DECEIT". By regulation, this offence carries a 10 years ban... And you are advising him to go for affidavits and all sort of invalid solutions?
Refer to this quote of his:
after the occurrence, i was told to reapply by an inside person at the irish embassy but i haven't. if i was, the person wont ve told me to because the person is close to the family. the person said i should ve told him/her before i submitted my application in which he/ she would ve reviewed my documents or better still, handled my documents. by the way, its Ireland not uk embassy am talking about here. the only problem i am having is that i should ve made him/ her know before submitting my application.now what i am thinking is wait till my dad comes december for the reunion, then we go to abuja to find out what ca be done. and maybe apply to the irish embassy first before facing the uk embassy. i didn't lie about my father's location, quite alryt i heard he is in Ireland but there was no certainty that he is bcus he had and my mom had been separated and a stepfather had been involved whom had been the one taking responsibility for my upkeep. i only revamped my reunion with my dad at that period which i then added him on the form. its all about proofs. my whole record with them should prrof that that my stepfather had been the one and at anytime, i could decide to reunite with my dad or anyone.

Get a birth certificate which names him as your biological dad, along with a letter from him that you guys just got to know each other after a long time. If there is no birth certificate naming him, get him to swear to an affidavit that he is your biological father, but he has been absent for a long time. Cheers
thanks for your response. now i am also thinking should i just reapply to ireland first and get all my documents so to face irish embassy before i apply to uk. my dad will be coming to nigeria this december and we can get to write the embassy. but now the question is, even if i apply now, i am working and am well over age, 28, will i still be allowed to use a sponsors bank statement like my office or my stepfather who had been the one sponsoring all my trips and all. reason being that i dont ve a good bank statement.
Travel / Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 2 by d2ddayo(m): 1:18pm On Nov 25, 2013

Exactly!!!!!!
Actually what happened is that i didnt write my dad resides in ireland because i now ve a stepdad who is my sponsor and he paid for all my trips back then until my last application which by then, my dad and i ve been communicating and i was ready to meet him after like 14 years, i dont see how that was deception, which was actually "written as". nways after that, i was told to reapply but i still havent like i earlier said till whenever i am ready. now my argument with uk and irish embassy if they raise this issue is, " is it ever not possible not to know anything about my biological dad when i do have a stepfather who had been the one with me for all these years. what is ur take on this people thank you vicjustice and justwise, i await your reply.

How did you manage to avoid stating your parents nationality?
I'm asking because I'm aware of the segment that deals with parents information.
Well, if you lied about your parents nationality, or you gave a partial true answer, that action may qualify deception: therefore, i am honestly of the opinion that you might have gotten into trouble by deliberately withholding the information regarding your parents nationality: be advised that the UK and the ROI share same database and therefore enforce same regulations, so, if the rules are implemented correctly, you could be carrying the 10 years ban.

NOW THE LAST TIME I APPLIED, I WAS DENIED WITH THE SOLE REASON OF " DECEIT ". THEY SAID I DIDNT DISCLOSE THAT MY DAD RESIDES IN IRELAND. NOW THE QUESTION IS DS, HOW THEY FOUND OUT, CUS YES MY PARENTS LIVE IN IRELAND AND ITS BEEN MY AUNTY WHO FROM DAY ONE THAT HAD BEEN INVITING ME AND I NEVER TALKED BOUT MY PARENTS THERE, SO THEY GOT TO KNOW CUS I THINK MY AUNTS UNCLE WHO THEY RE NO MORE TOLD THEM AFTER THEY CALLED IN. ON MY REFUSER LETTER, ITS WRITTEN DECEIT. THEY DIDNT TALK BOUT APPEAL OR ANYTHING. NOW WHAT DO I DO? THOUGH THIS HAD BEEN SINCE 2011 AND AFTER THEN, HAVE GONE TO ITALY, FRANCE AND RETURNED BACK TO NIGERIA. AS I SPEAK, MY PARENTS ARE NOW IRISH SO AM THINKING OF REAPPLYING, BUT I AM ALSO APPLYING FOR A STUDENT VISA TO FRANCE AGAINST JANUARY NEXT YEAR. WHAT DO YOU THINK I SHOULD DO?
