chukzyfcbb:Like l said, l think they look at you properly before making a decision that you are likely to be a yahoo-Boy! It iscalled 'Profiling', in security circles....bu tl think it is still wrong. Only two thing scare the Nigeria Police: Overwhelming force and/or Money. I have both at my disposal so why or how can they even dream of stopping me for a search. Even if l was 'lucky' to be stopped and searched (God knows how many foreign numbers, my own foreign bank details and business contacts are on my phones) NOTHING of such will be seen on my phone. It is there but it is not visible. For those who dont (the majority), let me suggest that you do something to protect yourself, even if you have foreign numbers or Emails in your phone (l am not advocating this for criminals of Yahoo-Boys, it is meant for the innocent lads that such thing sget into trouble). There are Apps that you install on your phone which creates a 'Passworded Container" (like a folder). This is like a Vault where you can "cut and paste" all your important stuffs or things you dont want others to see. The good thing about 'containers' is that it is there in the phone but it is invisible until you launch the App and put the correct password! You can also hide important documents in ordinary pictures (like pictures of Ronaldo or Messi ) and no one will know that there is more information 'inside the picture' when they look at it.All these tools are there for you to use, I dont see any of these semi-illiterate SARS or Police having such knowledge. |
xreal:What is the meaning of this your 'effective, apprehensive, commission and recommendation transmission"...... Chai! Dearis Guudu Oooo! |
clive2u:very true! they prolly drop the gun and runaway, once an armed robbery is ongoing. ![]() Only "special squads" should carry guns and those should not having anything to do with day-2-day normal squabbles - Just armed squads to respond to armed conflicts like robberies. |
cashlurd:I think l am just very unlucky because l always pray that l should encounter one of these 'stop & search' my phone SARS team but so far, l have never been lucky! ![]() My phones (One HTC, One Samsung and one old Iphone) are all passworded and they contain very, very sensitive information, including bank pincodes, passwords, e.t.c. Infact, my phones are hte most important items l have and l guard them seriously. I want to see how that SARS officer will force me to enter my Pin codes, to unlock the phone, by force, without a valid warrant. And he can be sure that he will see a lot of foreign calls on it as my phones are not just for making audio calls but are my own business tool. I guess they do a sort of 'profiling', based on your appearance or how you speak to them, to decide who to search. Maybe l will be lucky one day sha. |
back2sender:1. Plumbing; Pipe laying only. Fttings to come after plumbing (You will be breaking walls a lot) 2. 1st stage Elelctrical (draw conduit wirings, backpanels, DB's but no final fittings yet) 3. fix Aluminium windows (cover it properly with polythene/Nylon) 4. Plastering (to seal-in windows, plumbing pipes and wires, e.t.c) 5. What about Tilling? My method, my opinion. More grease to your elbow. |
AngelicBeing:This is why l dont agree that "Religion" in itself, is the/a problem! I think it is 'WE THE PEOPLE' that are manipulating religion, for our selfish end. Imagine, One Pastor asked ladies in his church to remove their Pants and raise it up, in church, so he can bless them with a husband! Is it not obvious that such Pastor is a sex Predator who is already having orgasms, just sniffing those laden pants? There are lots of benefit from "Religion" (if practised as it should be and not used as a means for control and to fleece the ignorant), that countries like China, are yet to avail of. Havng said that, Nigeria's case is on another level. We have failed totally, as a Nation. And the "religious predators" (Pastors, Immams, G.O's, Alfas, e.t.c) are taking advantage of that. Reading your post too, l could not fail to notice that it is "the same WE THE PEOPLE" that engage in all these wicked activities, when we go to China to import goods! So, in all, it is still the 'human factor' that is responsible for our failures, not the church, not religion or lack of it. GREED is a human attribute, Religion is not. My fear is that the rot is so deeply entrenched that mere words of mouth cannot change our mentality, we might need to paint the town RED, to factory-reset our consciousness, if you get my direction. ![]() |
NeeKlaus:They are just ike their owner ...cry-cry babies. ![]() |
Firgemachar:Not really but that Brother is certainly high on Codiene! The day ritualists will really capture him and ask him to play that his ringtone endlessly..... E go do him like film. ![]() |
Edygrin:Just imagine, one silly "Omo-Ilorin" wants to suspend "Omo-Agege"? Its never gona happen. Saraki is finished. |
jessca048:You are right, just like we have brainless bitches everywhere, opening their legs to every long thing that can buy them an Iphone! Damn, they even call themselves 'Mama' just because they produce one 'mango-head' runt from a one night stand! ![]() |
PheezyLee:I blame the internet, or how else do 'failed people' like this woman, write stupid things for the whole world to read, and still patt themselves on the back for a job welldone? ![]() |
amzee:She is 38, for krist's sake! WHich man in his real senses, marry a 38yr old Agadi-nwanyi close to menopause, if he is not a divorcee with seven children already? jackpot my foot, all you this Gigollo boys sef |
roqrules04:Lack of proper guidance and sheer ignorance on his part. there is only one Okocha! |
Amagite2:You be real Muumu! So because his Mum dresses him up and use the pictures to sell cloths, that makes him a CEO? You go school at all or you have never come across the functions and what makes a person a CEO? Anyway, na just sensationalism. Carry-go, nuffin do you |
Richdad50:Are you referring to hEll Rufai, or which other short man that is carzy, do l know of? BTW, if Anambra gives Buubu 70% votes, thn Operation Phyton Dance 2 is scheduled for release, come may 2019. ![]() |
aonag:I agree with the bolded. Competition breeds advancement! I also agree that Biometrics is of utmost importance but l disagree that it is too big for the FG. Resources needed for Biometrics for 10 states or 6 states or 21 states, is almost the same, aside from the size of Servers required. Size of the Database, has nothing to do with its success/functionality. How can you operate Biometrics in an environment where Electricity is onlu available a few hours in a day? If is just a joke because you need constant electricity to power the Systems and database. IMO, l think what we lack is strong, determined and altruistic leadership. if we have that, other things will start to take shape and people will tow the line. This is what people thought Buhari was going to give us but alas, he was a huge disappointment. Now, that is just my own opinion. |
AngelicBeing:Those who are benefitting from the rot, will never allow any form of change. For example, look at Buhari rightnow. As much as l admire the man (l've always admired him since 1983, when for the first time, l saw Nigerians queuing up at B/stops, noone defecates on open spaces, no one drops litter anyhow, e.t.c, not to mention those lengthy jail terms he gave Politicians (never mind that he was a bit partial to his clansmen), voted for him in 2015, l think he shoudl go and rest and advice younger ones in Govt. he has spent the better part of his first term treating "old age illness', fighting memory lapses and other symptoms of old age, yet he still wants a second term! Those who are benefitting from his "memory lapses" are the ones urging him-on. He has achieved some things and failed in so many other things! - Security (he has failed, as long as mass killing sstill continue on a daily basis, aside the boko haram killings) - Anti- corruption (he has achieved a lot but a lot is still happening so much so that it looks like he has only created a new set of looters, his cabal members) - Agriculture (he has achieved a lot in this area but the Herdsmen displacing farmers from their farms, especially in the middle belt, has negated whatever he has achieved. Infact, Nigeria is about to experience food shortage, in the coming months because nothing is coming out of the middle belt, the traditional food basket of Nigeria) - Eduaction - he has achieved nothing - Health - Nothing achieved So, overall, l think he needs to take a chill and let younger men take the mantle. When l say younger ones, l mean proven younger men with a vision to turn things around. But you can bet that "the Palm Tree does not just surrender it fruits, it has to be taken from it, WITH FORCE"! |
aonag:No Sir, l am already sitting down properly and l still cant understand! It is up to you, the person that is propounding this theory, to enlighten us more, on why you feel this is so. As someone has said, even if you split this country into 756 countries, (each LGA become a country of its own), it is just a mere exercise of creating a kingdom for each thief to supervise, independently. Tell me one REGION in Nigeria, where looting does not occur? Tell me one STATE in Nigeria, where looting does not occur? Tell me one Local Govt Area in Nigeria, where looting does not occur? Show me one street in Nigeria, where there are no thieves or criminals? Show me one household in Nigeria, were all the members are saints? Infact, it will be even worse than it is the case now. Imagine if Fayose was President of 'Yoruba Nation'! ![]() Imagine say Okorocha (Mr Statue) was President of 'Igbo Nation'! Imagine if say that short man in kaduna (hell-rufai) was President of 'Arewa nation'? So, we now have three confirmed looters administering over national purse! ![]() And they will also have their own 27 Ministers looting under them Not to mention their State Governors, Commissioners, e.t.c Now, what about the National Assembly 'honorables' of each Region, living fat on their taxes? The above are some of the reasons l think it will get worse, if we split this country, just because of corruption. What we need is 'mutual respect, equity and fairness', in dealing with every citizen of Nigeria, irrespective of where they come from, religion or gender. I want to hear your own reasons, on why you think splitting will resolve those problems. Am willing to learn. |
AngelicBeing:As necessary and good as the above milestones are (and dont forget that almost everyone in Nigeria has a bank account, even just savings accnt, with a BVN Database, some states also have I.D Card database scheme, INEC has its own database, Immigration/Passport office has its own, e.t.c........so the problem cant be a shortage of 'database')............ it wont fly until the Govt agrees and implement stable power supply. How much does it cost to build a brand new Power Station (using Gas or Nuclear or hydro options)? Yet, the money Govt has been giving the same 'thieves and fronts' it used in buying up Nepa/PHCN, in form of BAILOUT, is more tha enough to build one! ENERGY/POWER is the engine of any growth in any country. After elelctricity, you then move on to Steel How do you link 'database', when the Server is down or the Network is down, due to no electricity? So many things are wrong with Nigeria at this moment and l personally think we should jettisson this Democracy, for now. Let us be honest, it is not working! Aside GSM, which is a private initiative that was started even before 1999, can someone tell me just ONE THING that has improved in Nigeria, since we started this 3rd Democratic republic? just tell me one. if l have my way, l will finish-off all our current leaders, from the NASS, to the Executive, to past Presidents, Ministers and purge the Juduciary. If l have my way, l will ask unemplyed but willing Graduates, to apply for Police job, pay them a minimum of 200K monthly but make them sign an undertaking that any form of bribery/corruption on their part, fetches them a minimum of 10yrs in jail, without an option of fine. I will setup a hightech monitoring team for that purpose. If l had my way, l will introduce the death penalty for acts of corruption that "affects the state of the Citizens". For example, if you embezzle money meant to kit Police officers or for their welfare, money meant to build hospitals, money meant for schools, steal PHCN transformer or tamper with electric installations, loot money meant for Borehole and other sundry acts that directly affect the quality of life of the citizens. if l had my way, for any PUBLIC OFFICER who is saddled with the responsibility of ensuring Public Safety or anything related to such, acts of corruption in that regards will fetch you 15yrs in prison, with hard labour (I will use these multitudes of Prisoners on Rice farms and othe rfarms established all over the country and they must also feed themselves properly). Acts like approving a defective building, poorly constructed road, fake measures, fake drugs, fake items like cable, drugs or auto-parts, importing and selling dangerous/sub-standard items, e.t.c will attract 15yrs in Prison A seed needs to 'die' first, before it can 'grow' and produce even more seeds for food. You will be surprised that the Russia that you think is the most corrupt country in the world, will not bath an eyelid but it is the "Western Countries" that play hypocrisy and benefit from the squalor in Nigeria (they need our best brains to migrate to their country as Doctors, Engineers, Nurses, I.T specialist, e.t.c)... will be the one shouting 'Human Rights Abuse' but rightnow that we Nigerians are suffering and dying, they are not doing ANYTHING to remove such suffering, appart from selling us more weapons to kill ourselves! Refering to Spyder's post, NO ONE, NO FOREIGN COUNTRY is coming to help us resolve our problems here in Nigeria (infact, they are happy we are dying off like flies because they think we are too many );We either solve it ourselves, in our own way and style, or we are DOOMED. Anyway, maybe l am just a harsh and deranged shithead, living in a shithole. ![]() |
AngelicBeing:Hmmm.... if l agree with all you wrote above (sadly, l have to agree), it then takes me back to my original question: Are you saying we are doomed, as a Nation? Are you saying there is NO SOLUTION? I am really worried. somebody or a group of people MUST come up with ideas to get us out of this logjam. The alternative is that we are doomed, as a nation, and l refuse to acfept that. |
Are you guys saying Nigeria is DOOMED? I mean the whole country is doomed? There has to be a way out of ANY problem...... and the solution lies with the same people. ![]() |
Daviddson:You forgot to add Kwara/Ilorin to that list of states captured! Back then, it used to be an "Oba" they have in ilorin, being part of the South West Yoruba states but TODAY, it is "Emir" of Ilorin! Even one very 'stoopid Oba' in osun state is now claiming that he has changed his own title to "Emir", and no longer Oba! Yet his people are yet to 'erase' his palace so that he can go to Sokoto and rule as Emir. As for Buhari, God punish any of we 'his 2015 supporters' that will still vote for him in 2019. To make a mistkae, is 'human' afterall. Once is a 'mistake' but twice is unforgivable. This Buhari is a monumental mistake (not that Jonathan is any better ), we need a clean break from the past. Vote parties like SDP, KOWA and a host of other lesser known ones who can present a credible candidate that failed terrorists the like of Buhari or Atiku. APC and PDP have failed Nigerians. |
owbabs:fixed! ogun and Lagos are reading from the same sheet |
Gabbysky:Chest-beating, Nnamdi-style, don start again, abi? Carry your children to a school where they would ask them to speak Chinese or any language you so desire. Making baseless and toothless threats is the hallmark of you people. Nnamdi Kanu said more than this, where is he today? Hiding, when no one is chasing him. ![]() |
dignity33:Na dis kin talk send some people to the Brighead, in the dead of the night, in 1613! ![]() |
ceejay80s:We have to ask Evans the kidnapper himself! but l suspect he was ordering Mr. BiGGS for them, three times a day and they wash it down with italian red wine. Anybody wey say make we show pity for this animal-in-human-skin called Evans, may that person and their loved ones be the next victim of kidnappers like Evans. Ntoor, make l hear a resounding A-M-E-N.
|
Zonacom:Looking at him on TV, in court this morning, l can point to nothing less that ONE MILLION 'hard-working and innocent' Nigerians, who look less healthy and well-fed, to this evil being! And he has the guts to eve ask: "What have l done"? So you dont know what you have done, Evans-kwa? ![]() He should be drenched in liquified sugar and then buried up to his shoulder, with his head sticking out of the ground. No beating, no hrarassment and he should be properly fed afterwards. ![]() Thinder fire you and all other kidnappers still at large |
Chekitaut:In summary, EVERYTHING is OVER-PRICED! ![]() So, who or what should l blame...........if not GREED? ![]()

sun34:#12,000. |
kiekie1:Kai! it is between 3,500 and 4,000. |
diordaves:Do you put the weather, (temperature the felt will be constantly exposed to), in Nigeria, compared to the UK, into consideration? Once felt is laid, very low temperatures as obtainable in the UK, keeps it hard and thick. In Nigeria, a felt that is exposed daily to temperature in the late 30's, everyday, will soon start to melt away (the gum/tar), as we have seen on some houses and even on tarred roads. What about the suggestion of using a Hydor-sealant, mixed with a little Cement, to refloor the Decking such that it provides a water-repellant layer, ontop of the decking? That l think should take care of the seepage. my opinion though, my one cent. |
