Mixola:This is real and very serious matter o! - How was your courtship years like? - Did you sound each other out at all? - Did she cook for you before marriage and did you cook for her then? - Do both of you do thing together and do oyu have "common interests" back then? - Were you in-love with her before marriage (as in real passionate love that you cant do without seeing her for a day) and was she passionately inlove with you as well? - What made the two of you to really decide you want to get married to each other? What was the conviction? Finally - Do you have children in the marriage right now? I asked this question because l can "sense hatred" in this relationship and that is never a good sign because it does not get better! Please dont get violent. If things dont work out pretty soon and you dont have children between the two of you, l see that the hatred is sort of "mutual" (if she does not pick calls, does not cook for you, e.t.c ...l am not even sure two of you stii have sex with each other!). better to seek early divorce so that each of you can find happiness. Life is too short to live in such poisnous atmosphere. |
coputa:Please STOP! Their is a big difference in Working to earn a living (survival mode)...and working to just get out and about and reduce boredom (fufilment ). Wife of Dangotte or any first lady isnot working so she can feed her lazy-bum husband, they do it for fulfillment. For many years, my wife refused to work because she said "how much are they going to pay me, what will it buy me that l dont already have"? Eventually, l begged her to just do it for the fun of it as long as it does not interfere with her primary responsibility of taking care of the family (Me and her other children) ![]() One day she came back and told me she will open her own company or nothing. I asked why and she said she threw the folder at her Boss who was talking to her like she was her some desperate employee!. I nearly died of laughter but as life will have it, her Boss of then, one day came to her office that she is running to seek sponsorship for one of their programs and was all smiles, thinking she has forgotten so quickly how she use to treat her employee back then. Point is, let your wife work but let her know that she is not doing it because she needs the money. Give her every thing a woman who is working 9-5 has (Nice car, a higher salary, apid Holidays trips, e.t.c) so she knows that hwat she earns at that work place is inconsequential and can be forgotten at a moment' notice |
Ladyhippolyta88:Yea, it has changed for the WORSE! ![]() Its a shame the people of today dont have no shame! |
curvilicious:maybe we should strip him of that one sef, since he wont even be able to provide her with those things we use to "entice and confirm" our affection for ladies in those days! ![]() When my lady comes to visit me at the University in those days, the soup l prepare for her sef, (before her arrival), even my collagues in the hostel will be wondering whether na queen of England dey come visit me! ![]() As in "Soup made to order", `not Eatery rubbish they eat nowadays! I was not very rich then but my dignity would not allow me to even allow her pay for her transport back to her place. I have t pay the taxi driver in advance, with instructionn to drive carefully or eelse he would have to contend with me if l hear kpenken. We even do Holiday jobs just to get extra money to trip our babes but guys of nowadays are wasting away their time, playing lottery (Baba Ijebu or NairaBet or wetin dem dey call am sef) and engaging in unproductive, idle talk... and still dem dey use whistle dey call women'a attention! In my days, you deck heavily, with your Boogie Heels shoe, Afro hair-do and tight shirts to match and even the ladies will look at you twice before carrying-on with their shakara! ![]() But last-last, you know she is already tripping for you but as a man, you still have to strutt and win her over. Charming smile, decked up attire and nice perfume at to the glamour. Abi, l lie my sister? |
curvilicious:Some times, l feel like slapping th eheck out of some of our young men of today! Among their list of "wife material" is that she must be working in a coirporate environment...when they themselves dont even have a job! Foolish Gigolo, l call them. Why wont their wife turn them to "collect-wrapper-hold-for-me"? Everything is so upside down nowadays, it is so annoying. |
curvilicious:But even women of today, if you the husband caters for all their financial needs and ask them not to work, they would start shouting "wife abuse"! You would hear things like "he wants to make you financially dependent on him so he can control you". ![]() What is that definition of woman sef: Someone who does not know what she wants, does not know how to get it but blames a man for not getting it! But l agree with you, any man who cannot meet the (reasonable) needs of his wife (without expecting a contribution from her) should not even marry in the first place. he can have Girl friends though. ![]() |
Memories12411:Dumb azz! I am sure that in your femminazzi-mind, you think the Bible was referring to a MALE, when that phrase was used? ![]() FYI, the use of "MAN" in the Bible refers to creations of God, both Male and Female. and it is "man", not "men" that was used in the Bible. Go and read again pleaze. ![]() Sebi heart of woman is not wicked and one just stabbed her husband in his blockus, just because he was talking to his first wife, a Muslim for that matter! ![]() |
leezzz:It is either you are abusing Ojukwu's son, or abusing Rochas Okorocha or abusing Joe Igbokwe! You Ibos always have hatred and bile running in your veins. There is truely no cure for hatred and jeaousy. ![]() |
leezzz:So, you still cant beleive that an Igbo guy could be this silly, to write this long epistle, just to convince us of what we know is not true....and you had to ascribe it to Afoja? ![]() Chai! Afonja don do you badt thing for inside dream since 1930! ![]() Even if Mazi say make you dey come home now now, you go say na Afonja spirit catch am, abi? |
MrPresident1:Very true but most Naija dudes just swallow and waste their money traveling to that phucked-up zionist state thinking they are going to meet Jayzuz! ![]() |
Alariiwo:In any society where there is too much emphasis on "Materialism and the get-rich-by-all-means syndrome" ", the tendency is to meausre your success by "Material things", against that of your peers. If or example, we live in a society where "sudden wealth" is frowned upon, no one wil have the need/urge to go around showing they have arrived within one year of hitting lagos! ![]() Because your folks, the elders and even your Peers will be sneering at you (as it used to be the case in the early 70's, before this moral decadence set-in) and be too quick to label you an armed robber or money double ....unless you come up very quickly with a very elaborate explanation that satisfies their curiosity. ![]() |
JasonScolari:The author was "desperately, trying too hard" to convince us against what we all know is "THE OBVIOUS"! ![]() Wetin concern Agbero with overload. All we know is that during that period, Armed Robbery, Kidnapping, Ritual killing, 419, farud and many other forms of henious vices, are always on the increase just prior to that Yuletide as every body wants to go back home with a "cha-cha" G-Wagon, to show that Business has been good to him/her", in this land of sojourn. Just try and go empty handed and see the scornful look of your neighbours on you, when Obiora that left, after you had left, is rocking a 'cha-cha' BMW 7-Series..... or na only you Lagos hard for? ![]() I wish them all safe journey! They can as well stay back and develop the East sef, instead of all this Up-and-down on those dangerous roads. ![]() ***heads fror the next exit before dem begin swear like Amadioha**** ![]() |
mufutau55:This is what l find to be the major setback of using any I-Product! Un-expandable memory. I really dont like putting my sensitive data on Google BackUps due to the many disclosed and undisclosed data breaches of recent past. My Samsung has a 128GB additional memory card capacity, apart from the 64Gb that came with it. Everything satys "local" But l still roll with the I-Product because other members of the family still use it and we all need to exchange items at one point or the other. |
mufutau55:Hajj, a) Have you connected your phone to your Personal Laptop in the past? b) Do you have If the answer to the above is YES {and (b) will likely be YES, if (a) is YES}, then l am sure that your Itunes would have 'synced' your device to the/your itunes, on your laptop. if so, just connect the new phone (after login-in to your itunes on your Lappy) to the Laptop and 'sync' the keyes backup to the phone and EVERYTHING on the previous phone that was 'synced' to the Lappy. will be synced back to the new phone automatically...with a few questions requiring only a click/yes and your google account password. Hope this helps. *The above can be enabled automatically, under 'Settings => General => Wifi-Sync => Sync Now ..such that it does it everytime the Ipad and Laptop are within the same Wifi Network without any input form the user. Editted. |
topsy23:I hail O! Merry Xmas to you and every other housemates. |
Timtol:What exactly are you TRYING TO SAY? ![]() You better write in your native, lingua franca because ......Merry Xmas and happy New year in adavance. ![]()

Memejem:IN SUMMARY: The major difference between "Sellers" (of goods and services) in Nigeria and other places is that: In other places, Sellers are open concerning prices and beleive that they can use lower price to attract you to their goods/services, while maintaing the same quality. In Nigeria, Sellers beleive that by being sneaky and hideous about their prices, they wil lbe able to TRICK you into buying their goods/services and/or even reduce the quality so as to make a bigger gain margin for themselves. Think about 'every reason' why a foreign builder/Contractor/Builder/Shop would put their price label on everything, including their labour...and you will find it above. Also, think about 'every reason' why our Nigerian builder/Contractor/Builder/Shop HIDES THEIR PRICE on everything, including their Labour, ...and you will find it in the above summary. It all boils down to GREED! and that is why you wont ever find a "Business" in Nigeria, that has gone from one to two or three generations or is over a 100yrs old. They must 'finsih eating it' within a life time, at the most ![]() |
Rubbiish:Gbadexy is like a few Contractors here, including Spyder, people who dont think that telling you the "full story", will affect their patronage! Honesty and openess, in the 'long run', actually increases Patronage..via trust-building. |
spyder880:So, you mean because of your relationship with him, he can reduce the cost by as much as 50% (half price)? ![]() Please, we know you and a few other Contractors whose integrity has never been called into question. PLEASE, dont pander to sentiments and try to play both sides, l take God beg you! "Reputation" is not easy to build and very easy to destroy...guard yours jealosuly. I repeat: We know you and your high level of Integrity. BTW: asking for how much someone does a job for another person, does not mean one should expect the same price in his own case. It is just what we call a "sample" or "rough guide". Prices dont (should not) double or triple just because of who the Client is. |
Hofbrauhaus:And you think ranting like a Rabid Dog on Nairaland is how citizens get their country back? ![]() Abeg, go siddon for one corner. Your mates would have carried Placard and doen sit-out for days by now but you hide behind you losuy Techno phone to vent your self-inflicted frustration on Seun's Nairaland! ![]() Talk is Cheap. organise and lead a Protest and let us see if you are not "all smoke and no fire" ![]() |
Hofbrauhaus:The problem with oafs like you is that even when you have a good idea or opinion, you allow hatred and unnecessary sentiment to becloud and shroud your opinion, thereby rendering it ineffective! Agreed, that it is a BIG SHAME for those who are supposed to ensure that we have regular supply of PMS, those voted into power and given the authority to make things work, to be seen behaving HELPLESSL Y and ShAMELSSLY, with the effect that they are telling the populace that THEY HAVE FAILED IN THEIR DUTY, but to descend to tha level where you start abusing everyone in-sight and using derogatory language on ``yoru own country (you may claim to be Biafra or IPOD but even that small enclave, as of today, is still subhumed inside the saem Nigeria and by law of Mathematics, "A Subset of a Set, is nothing less than the microcosm of the Set, warts and all! You need not call Mr. President a "dead animal"... tHaaba! If not for anything, this is a 75yr old Man and we Africans are noted for showing decorum and respect to those older than us! This just shows the kind of putrid upbribging you have because you can still convey you rmessage, without using such foul language which is a sign of a non-existent proper home training. |
1513geo:How many Christians have you seen in the last 50yrs, "strapping explosives to themselves" and proclaiming to blow innocent people up, in the name of Jesus? Thats the difference! "Self Criticism" is what makes a group better. If you are "rightfully" condemned by your human peers, you are also condemned by God |
FrenchWay: See "Anita clone" yarning OPAATA! Anita wife can go phuck herself, she initiated divorce and got it. Pastor Oyak is doing fine with plenty babes to his attention. ![]() |
israelmao:The guy is a very arrogant and bad leader! Everywhere he goes, he leaves trail of dicatorship, brutality and destruction in his wake! he is not called "Hell-Rufai" for nothing God forbid he or someone like "Desperate Atiku", rule this country. But wait o, is it that in a country of almost 200Million people, we can find two or three CREDIBLE INDIVIDUALS to pick a ticket from any of the minority parties? Or is it that even if such Credible Persons pick the ticket, NIGERIANS are just too daft and sentimental to vote for them but will rather vote for these thieves who have been stealing them dry since the time of Jesus Christ? |
three:@the bolded: This is where most people who for their own reasons love GEJ, continue to live in denial. For the avoidance of doubt, Buhari had previously lost THREE TIMES, (and if we are to go by your logic, even though the North had an expedient desire to regain power) . Note also that Buhari has also lost against the same Jonathan in 2011, ....even though "the North had an expedient desire to regain power"! You can see that your thesis does nto standup to test! But l can tell you that Buhari won because people were just too disillusioned with the ineptness of Jonathan's administration. A lot of People felt that given just a choice between a Jonathan and a Buahri at the Polls, ANYTHING ELSE, is beter than having another four years of Jonathan. That is the simple reason why Buhari could win this time, after three failures. Not because he is good or trusted or credited with any mental capacity............ just get this Jonathan outta here! Consider, if Jonathan has performed wonderfully, when even in 2011 people still gave him the benefit of doubt and voted for him but he blwe it BIG TIME! At times, l just dont know how to describe that former President! A Mistake? A failure? An Anomally? An Accident? A Stooge? But as we have seen, Buhari is not better, in his own ways. History has a way of repeating itself: Now, in 2019, Nigerians may be faced with the same dilemna of choosing between a Buhari they dont want anymore, and an Atiku they detest! Either way, Nigerians are SHAFTED....unless the other minor parties can present someone credible and nigerians can vote with their HEAD, and not thier snetiments. ![]() |
Hollasmall:Chairman easy now, u too vex! See as you do 'finishing' for our contractors!! Thing is, it is easier to "deal brutally" with a single person who is a Novice, when you 'corner the person on WhatsApp'... than to let other "sharp minds" listen-in on the conversation! No one can do anything to any Contractor who does the "see me on WhatsApp" trick, the Client is the one who still has to ensure they seek enough "independent and relevant information", before agreeing to anything on WhatsApp. The thing about this forum is that it has helped all Contractors to gain Clients, some of whom they would not have met anywhere else but it is strange that once established, some now turn around to think the forum is not good enough for pricing discussions. Source the Geese, Source the Gander, as we say in ijebu language. ![]() Aventures:Aventures, l am sure he did not call your name or anyone's name or when did your name become "Nairalander"? Though l understand that the "roforofo" scatter reach your side small , being a contractor!I would rather advocate "fair pricing" between all concerned so that the Contractor gets good value for his 'sweat' and the Clients too get good value for money spent. |
spyder880:Respects Sir! We dey learn from you, that is why l have to "pull your trousers"! ![]() Its not out of place, if you give him a little bit more. ![]() Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year. |
IkpuMmadu:IPOD Piglet! How does that make GTB a Govt bank or make the matter a tribal issue? ![]() I think too much Akpuu has decimated your thinking faculty! ![]() Go and ask for a full refund, from that your "paid" mis-education, they should have paid you, for wasting your time in school. ![]()
|
NwaAmaikpe:You are so always TWISTED, why? Did you read the story of how they over-charged his account with "unfounded interests" to the tune of #750Million and the court asked them to refund Innosson with interest... and GTB did not comply? Do you know how many millions of Business men are facing the same extortion from our banks (Not just GTB alone but all our banks) Do you know that borrowing to finance a lucrative business, actually makes a lot of sense and ALL the richest men in this world do borrow to finance theor business? I am sure you have no idea about what goes on within the banking software, in the Back office. Your "small change" in that savings account is not worth over-charging. ![]() |
MufasaRebirth:But are these two representative of the Most beautiful Girls in Nigeria today? Hian, so standard of Education has fallen, now it is standard of beauty that has fallen! As old and worn-out as Bianca is, she go still floor these two ![]() |
AnonymousIP:Pedophile Senator! if Nigeria were to be the U.K, you for don dey jail right now, for "inappropriate and uneanted touching". ![]() |
Awoleesu:Nice one! Nice comeback. I think the other Poster made such assumption because everyone keep wondering why in Kwara, once they hear "Up Oloye" like this, they all line-Up behind anything with the name-tag "Saraki". ![]() Which kin educated/intelliegnt people dey do such tinz? |
