People should stop complaining and start getting ready to defend themselves,I don't like it when people complain n act like they don't know what is going on in the country.
It is now that they have started defending themselves (after being let-down by Buahri and his Govt's security forces), that buhari himself starts shouting that "all Militias should be disarmed"!

But the terrorist myetti Allah cattle Association whose members carry AK47 around and slaughter innocent women, are not considered part of that Millitias.

Nkwa, tell us something we dont already know, pls.
Let us hear your own side of the story.

At least, we see all these killer herdsmen slinging AK47 on their shoulders, in broad day light and they are never arrested like they have become a part of our security forces.

Why is it easy for our security forces to apprehend killers of Fulani herdsmen, but find it difficult to arrest killer fulani herdsmenhuh

N.B I'm not in anyway support of any killings, be it reprisals. But there should be a balance in justice lipsrsealed :/
You want to know WHY?

You think our Security heirachy are not active or stupid?
They are only acting on Buhari's orders, when it comes to who they can arrest.

Only buhari knows why he is bent on skewing the leadership of all Nigeria's security agencies, from the DSS, to the NIA, to the Armed forces, Customs, Immigration, e.t.c..... into one particu;ar ethnic group of his choice.

Even the Sultan of Sokoto who kept quiet all these months when Fulani 'terrorist' herdsmen went on rampage killing all over Middle and Southern Nigeria, has the audacity to SUMMON the Governor of Benue State...as if the Executive Governor of Benue State, a Christian, is under the rule or authority of his Caliphate?

Anyway, 2019 election is loading ad we will all get rid of this "i am not for everyone, l am for only Fulani-Herdsmen" President that we mistakenly voted into power.
BUHARI IS A MISTAKE THAT MUST NOT HAPPEN TWICE, IN ANY GENERATION.

I’m building my house in parallel with another friend and I know the extent of the savings I had.
Tnx so much for this idea. Bt d major problem here is in d filling.he is also saying I should do a soakaway 1st with a quotation of 300k so that would go a long way in helping with d filling
I am sensing a contradiction here or maybe it is because l dont have enough information?

Contractor wants you to dig a soakaway and use the dug-out sand, to fill uour foundation (Cost is 300K, to be paid/spent now).
From the above, l will reckon that your type of soil is the "Red, solid clay" type of soil (for you to be able to use it for filling purposes)..

If my assumption above is also true, then it will be correct for me to say you are building on very solid ground (as against a swamp or water-logged soil).
If l am correct with that second assumption, l will then wonder why you need such a very high foundation, as to make digging a soakaway, so as to use it excavated soil, for filling the foundation..... in such a very urgent tone? shocked shocked

- How many boards is y`our foundation? (I board is approx 1ft).
- If ground is solid, you would not be needing a raft, except you are building a very high/multi-storey, which l dont think is the case.
-If your land is not in a very low-lying valley, you would not need more than three coursework of blocks, filled with a good mix of watery motar and then do a german floor to cap it all.
Cest fini, foundation is done.

So, filling a 3-course of block foundation, with whatever was excavated when digging the foundation, all you need is just a few trucks of Laterite
What l am implying is that due to the scarcity and alternative demand for your funds, digging foundation NOW, is not a priority!
I would rather you use that money to do a borehole (with change left to buy 50bags of cement), which will save you a lot of money from purchasing water to be used for your build
.... except you have a river close-by! grin )

Bottom line, buy a few tippers of Laterite to fill your foundation, use the money for a borehole and you can dig your foundation later (sand from it can be used to fill your compound and landscape it, so it is not a waste).

Its all about setting prioroties and your priority as the Client who is dishing out the scarce money, does and may not always align with that of the person collecting/being paid to do the job! undecided undecided

Why dont you put a float-switch instead?
It cuts-off the water supply once it reaches a certain level (stops your pumpimg machine by cutting-off its power supply and restarting it automatically as well, once water level gets low).
That way, you wont even get water on your deckings.

Hello house. I am not sure if this question has been asked before and answered. What is a fair percentage of the rent a lawyer or property manager is entitled to? I am renting a unit for 1M and a lawyer I want to hire to manage the property is asking for 10% of that. Is that what is the going rate in Lagos? I welcome contributions from the house.
And what "special thing" is he gonna do, when shyte happnes, apart from file the necessary court papers that na lawyer can do, and take you through the court process, especially in this Lagos?

Draw up your own Rent Agreement (there are samples everywhere and you can get a copy of the Tenancy Act of lagos State, to guide you) and tighten-it up properly, in line with the Tenancy Act.

If Tenant then defualts, then get a good Lawyer of a fee on that tenant.
All the steps are now clearly spelt out and no one (landlord or tenant), can do any 'magic', except if you want to play dirty like use 'unknown soldiers' to resolve the issue.

Why should a Lawyer think he is entitled to a flat rate of 10% of my money, imagine l sold a land for #35M and he wants 10% of that (I know Lawyers will be fuming now grin ) in a Nigeria/Lagos where Judges can be bribed and you can get away with anything, if you know the right people? huh

2/3rds majority in the NASS!

- But you know our Senators will rather use the opportunity ot collect BRIBES (and Buahri has a lot of money for that, as the Petroleum Minister and President).

- Religion will also divide their votes, as the Muslims among them will rather support a terrorist Buhari.
- the Northerners will also not support it as they would think of their region first (Buhari is a Northerner), than what is good for the country.
- These Fulani terrorist herdsmen, under the leadership of Buhari, has ensured that all the security apparatus of Nigeria, (Army, Police, Airforce, DSS, Immigration, Customs, e.t.c) are firmly under the control of one of them.

These are just some of what makes impeachment a little far-fetched though, nothing is impossible, as we saw in 2015.

Buhari should b eimpeached for these Fulani-terrorist-herdsmen-Genocide.
Buhari is specifically allowing the Herdsmen to keep slautering innocent Nigerians, especially in Benue, where he assumes once the state becomes ungovernable, he will declare State of Emergency laws and handover Benue to another Fulani terrorist, as administrator, who will them import more Fulani terrorists into the sstae and they will take over the state.

Buhari himself, is a Patron of this terrorist organisation (Myetti Allah cattle Terrorists) and in 2000, he was the one who actually led a delegation of the same herdsmen, to challenge the Governor of Oyo State (lam Adesina), when the Herdsmen were killing Oyo farmers and those ones retalliated.

So, what we should be more concerned about is how to either impeach this incompetent geriatic or vote hm out in 2019.

Devaluation of naira is IMF policy whether you like it or not. Once you borrow money from IMF you must devalue your currency periodically as they which and you must agree to come and borrow money again before any debt forgiveness.

The old man is the architect of corruption in the forth republic. He even spent billions to secure third term. What a hypocrite?

Buhari has done well and he deserves another term.
Please, stop espousing ignorance, so openly.

Who paid-off Nigeria's debt..and what is the effect of paying-off your debt, on your currency? Does it make your currency stronger or weaker?
How much was in Nigeria's foreign reserve in 1999 when OBJ too power (< $15Billion), how much was there when OBJ left power in 2007 ($65billion)
How much was there when Jonathan handed over Power to buahri in 2015? (< $10 Billion).

Now, tell me, who made Nigeria's currency stronger or weaker, between all these three Presidents.

Would you expect them to show sympathy and solidarity to you and your people, seeing that you are making jest of others when ithappened to them.... or will you start shouting "they hate us", if no one shows concern for oyur own plight at that stage?

Its actually a BIG, FAT LIE!
These Fulani terrorist herdsmen are just trying to use propaganda, to change the narrative, that they are not the attackers and killers of innocent Nigerians.

Just imagine, six fulani herdsmen killed for how many weeks and their body is not completely decayed and decomposed?
They are also trying to say that some Governors are arming militias to kill herdsmen when in actual fact, we all know that with the silence of the President and Commander-in-Cheif who is also a Fulani Herdsman himself, the "ried-hands" of all our security heirachy as a result of orders from above not to arrest any herdsman, the Fulani terrorist herdmen have suddenly gone berserk and are trying to use murder to make States like Benue, reverse its anti-open grazing law.

Their terrorist organisation (MACBAn) has been the one inciting them and issuing threats to make any state that passes the Anti-Oprn grazing bill and ungovernable and flowing with blood.

I think more states should just go ahead and pass the Anti-open grazing law and let these Fulani terrorist herdsmen know that we cannot be intimidated in our on land. It is all PROPAGANDA

Also, since Buhari who is the Commander of all our security forces (at least for now, till 2019 when we shall boot him out the same way we booted Jonathan out), has decided to abdicate his responsibility of protecting the life of all citizens and has instead chose the supriority of hsi Cow's life over that of other Nigerians, citizens MUST resort to SELF DEFENCE.

Enough of all these Fulani terrorising all of us.
other Governors and citizens must rally round the people of Benue and taraba, we cannot let Buhari and his terorist herdsmen kill all of them while we think it will not be our turn, next time.
