Maybe education is not important to your brother also, because I don’t see why he can’t take some few days off work to go register those kids in school if he can’t get his wife to do it. Also, any family member that has some free time now, can go over and help out with the kids and ensure they go to school.

Where they currently live, they don't pay rent. The house is built by my brother's friend.

My brother lives in the remote part of Ikorodu. They have three kids.

The reason the wife stopped the kids from going to school is because she wants them to leave that part of Lagos and move to the developed part of Ikorodu or any township part of Lagos.

I feel she's punishing the kids and not the husband. My brother leaves for work very early in the morning and will not be able to take the kids to school himself.

He's not financially capable of relocating at this time but I feel he can plan with his wife and save towards relocating, maybe in a year's time but I doubt the wife is taking the best approach.

The wife said she's not taking up any job or starting any business until they relocate from that area. So for now, the whole burden is on my brother.

You're correct. I think the problem is that Op is providing the wrong reason for wanting to live closer to the school which is social life. You don't need to live alone to have a social life.

The major reason should be the distance and stress involved. Festac to Ojo is a traffic prone journey and going there to and fro everyday is not healthy and may impact on his academic performance.

I have had such experiences several times and I had no option than to cancel the ride. There are times the rider will be pick and tell you that he or she is coming downstairs.

After 15 minutes of waiting, they will still cancel. Reason I don't tolerate more than 10 minutes of paid waiting.

What I do whenever I get to a trip to the airport is to click on "stop new request" and never click on "confirm payment" after ending the trip until I get out of the airport to somewhere where I can get a normal trip that's not Airport trip.

I paid 10k there some months back and it was really painful. And yes, begging those touts is a total waste of time. If you like, beg them with the language they understand.
