Last I remember it takes two people to birth a child. If you refuse to sleep with her after two kids there is no way she can birth extras apart from sleeping with someone else. You can then use her actions as a chance to throw her out and claim your children. Honestly, after birthing the children and seeing them up to Primary 5 her parental role in the family is over.
You're really a scoundrel

Oh by our comments am sure it easy to know who e dey pain.
I swear the guy is a messed up individual. Abuse has far-reaching consequences. Women need to learn that it's important to be independent so that when the going gets rough they can leave and not be stuck in a deplorable situation.

My dad is a very conservative man and will be broken if I leave. My younger sister left her husband for same infidelity and my parents haven't heard the last of it from neighbours and gossips. I don't wantbtonput them through emotional stress. My husband's elder brother separated from his wife over 30yrs ago over infidelity and all tgeir children amounted to nothing, I feel scared for my kids.
What is more important, your health and emotional well-being or what people would say/your parents feelings? I know it is harder for women in Africa because of the society and the belief that women should tolerate all forms of rubbish in marriage, but you need to put yourself first. What do you think you are teaching your children? That it is okay for a man to cheat and disrespect his wife and for the woman to tolerate abuse? There are so many kids from broken homes who have become upstanding members of society. We should do away with the notion that broken homes are not good for kids. What matters is how the parents handle the separation. You seem to be able to take care of yourself, go ahead and be independent. Who knows what the future holds? Maybe your husband will see your new independence as a wake up call of what he has lost and then you can use this to dictate the kind of relationship you want with him. He will continue his philandering ways because he knows you will tolerate the disrespect. Be strong and put yourself first, marriage should be enjoyed and not seen as a life sentence.

FamilyRe: Taking Care Of My Wife's Niece : Please Advise Me!! by Daisy17: 9:55pm On Jan 14, 2020
conyema12:
My brother in-law who is my wife's only brother lost his wife late last year due to kidney problem. She was just 29yr old, they were married for only 3 years and blessed with a 2 years old daughter, same age with my daughter. During the burial ceremony the girls mother hired some touts and police men to cause problems and whisk the little girl away from my in-laws, claiming the boy was instrumental to her daughters death . However they couldn't succeed. It was agreed for my wife to go with the little girl pending when the matter is resolved. This just happened less than a week and the matter hasn't died out.

Now my inlaws are suggesting for the little girl to live with us and start school for now till the long vacation holiday (June).

My concerns are:

1. I am of the opinion for the matter to be fully resolved in a police station with agreement duely signed before she can settle in my house for now...

2. I am also seeing it ad a huge burden on my wife. We already have 2kids and it's a mouthful at the moment.

3. The brother will have to be financially involved

Pls I need suggestions on how to handle this so my inlaws won't see me as not being helpful.

Both my inlaws are retired and comfortable in their own house
I think your concerns are justified. You should make sure all these issues are addressed before you agree to take care of your niece. Also you should make sure that the grandmother has visitation rights and is involved in the upbringing of her grand daughter. She has just lost a child and it will be unfair for her to lose her grand child. Taking care of a child is expensive and it is the responsibility of every parent to take care of their child/children. Your brother-in-law has to contribute financially towards the upkeep of his daughter. He needs t grow up and be responsible. Ignore people who say that you should not be concerned about the financial burden. The number one cause of marriage breakdowns is finances. Remember that this will have an impact on your family and it is best to deal with it head on so that you can weather the storms.

So do u think confessing is something easy to do right ? I don’t know even have the strength to face her And narrate everything We did to her , don’t even know where to start from and u are talking like that because u are not in my shoes because if you were in my shoes then you would know how it feels. I did it out of anger and that time I had no remorse but now I feel remorse and regret it but don’t know how to go about it, I said I will do it this evening but anytime I want to open up my heart is beating faster and I’m thinking how the whole family will gang up and beat me then throw me out of the house. It’s not easy for me
Most people would not be in your shoes because they would not even think of doing the stuff you did to your sister. You are an ungrateful, entitled t-w-a-t and the sad part is you do not show any remorse. I do not think I have ever been as shocked by any story on Nairaland as I have been by yours. I had to pause and pray that such an evil being like you does not exist in my family.

I'm not quick to judge , I'm only trying to weigh the difference. Nine out of ten AA men and women has kids out of wedlock. you hardly see these from the white ppl. Back to our African culture ,They're few with the exception of my forefathers. Don't use celeb life style to judge other Nigeria men.
Where did you get your statistics from? How many white people do you know? Have you ever heard of common-law? I do not know where you live but in many Western countries, people use the term"partner" because you cannot tell if people are married despite the fact that they are living together. I visited an African country recently and the number of young unwed mothers I saw was alarming. Even at the hair salon where I did my hair, all the apprentices were school drop outs who had kids. The thing with you Africans is, you think you are superior but you do not realize that there is a lot that is wrong in your societies.Pedophiles roaming the streets but since you all are hypocrites, very few cases of child abuse are brought to light. A country where you need to have your wits about you because you will be either raped, scammed or kidnapped. Just this morning, I read a story of a father who fed his child feaces. Every street corner in major cities in Nigeria you find churches, but the country is full of scammers, thieves, adulterers and pastorpreneurs. Please fix yourselves before looking down on others.

I'm sorry if I'm wrong ma but I have relatives who were born and brought up in the US and that's all they talk about whenever we're together.
My apologies ma
I am sorry if I came across as harsh. I am African and I hate the fact that we perpetuate the myth that African Americans are inferior to us. In every group there are always bad eggs and it always unfair to tar everyone with the same brush. Billionaire Robert F. Smith who pledged to pay off student loan debt for an entire graduating class is African American. Tyler Perry who just opened a movie studio is African American. These are just a few of the African Americans who are doing great. There are a lot of African Americans who are thriving but you do not hear about them. When your relatives disparage African Americans tell them to broaden their horizons and be more open-minded. We Africans are not better than African Americans. There have been so many Africans who have been arrested for wire fraud and Medicaid fraud. Is it because they are white-collared crimes, we think these fraudsters are better than drug dealers?

I bet you don't realize that Nigerians are very loud and can appear to be violent to people who don't know them, especially to people who can't understand them. Trust me when you guys have heated conversations, it is very uncomfortable to onlookers. So Nigerians can be considered aggressive too.

That baby mama thing is so rampant , you will see a 23 year old girl with 4 kids for different men, same thing applicable to the guys. African Americans are disgrace to the black race. They're very lazy, even me as a lady I'm stronger than their guys. They keep complaining about how the white ppl maltreat them look at them with disdain. Me as a typical African lady this white people don't treat me like trash even with my accent. If you see the way I was treated in a US bank, my head begin swell. But the African Americans keep complaining of racism.
What about your African men with children from different mothers? Is it because you guys try to hide all your bad behaviour? We are quick to point out the shortcomings of another group of people while forgetting what is happening in our backyard.

The conception the African immigrant has about the African-American is largely true.
Let's start from how many of them finish college?
The typical African-American woman with a baby is likely a babymama.
Which group tops d drug dealing and use chart in America?
Which group tops the guns/knife crimes in America?
Stop perpetuating all these myths. How many African Americans do you know? I am sure you don't like it when Nigerians are associated with fraud. Please go beyond what you see on TV and learn to interact with people with an open mind. There are many educated African-Americans who have worked hard to achieve success despite the adversity they faced. Also who told you that only education determines a person's social status? There are people with just high school diplomas who through sheer determination and hard work have risen to the top in their different professions.

I have worked with people who were mentored by ceos who went on to become ceos in their own right.

Anyways, no point in arguing with you. Just understand that there is more to life than chasing money. If you had a mentor, you would have someone to tell you to get your personal life in order, and who would possibly straighten out your glaringly rough and crude edges that grate so much they are impossible to ignore.

I have a boss whose wife just gave birth. After over 15 years of marriage. The man never even thought of taking second wife of having pikin outside the family. His shit has always been together.

You need someone to bounce ideas off of, to provide some level of moral compass, in their advice or their actions. No one can do it alone. Instead of this empty braggadocio, ask your self how far you would have gone if you had someone who could rein you in before you made mistakes.

Anyways enjoy. You are a super millionaire, the first of your kind. Us common paupers should be washing your Benz and the common hoes should be lining up to polish your prick. tongue

RomanceRe: An Ex Posted My Picture Tagging It RIP Pls I Need A Legal Or Best Advice by Daisy17: 2:36pm On Oct 28, 2019
setobaba:
Good evening nairalanders

Pls help me, how is the best way to address this or fight back this useless empty head called my Ex.

It's been months we broked up, and after then she went on fucking two of my course mates, thinking they were my friends as retaliation, because we took pictures together. Her excuse for the break up, was she came to my place and met a lady shoe at the door, so she turned back for leave notifying me of the breakup.

We met recently, about two months ago, then she confessed her terrible acts, and started pleading to make things work back, I told her Immediately, what I shared with her was just a thing, not that serious to call it love, that I hold noting against her, and we started getting in tough with each other.

So fast forward to yesterday, I uploaded a picture on whatsapp, showing myself and a lady, only for this my Ex to download the picture and post it on her Instagram page tagging it RIP.

A friend of mine saw it, and immediately call me if am alright, he was shocked and sent me the screenshot.
I don't have her as friend on my Instagram and Facebook because of the kind of nature of being she is on hearing this, I rushed to view her page, and I noticed she has taken it down because a friend have seen it.

I plan to respond to this, as this is not her first time of wishing me death, she once threatened 2 of my Ex via her social handle.

She used to be a very nice person during my tenure in school, so caring and always feeling insucure despite her beauty. but this her anger issue always get me in check till I lose my total interest on her.

Pls I need matured or better still legal advice to address this. I don't want to drag in the mud with a pig.
This is a lady I have her nude on my phone, sent to me herself many months ago, someone said I should reply her post with her nude, others said i shouldn't but handle this legally.
The best option for you is to block her on all social media and just move on. You are alive and healthy so why would someone posting your picture and writing RIP be such a big deal? I think Africans are too superstitious. Please delete her nude picture, you should not even think of posting it anywhere. That's gross violation of privacy.

The easiest way to defeat a landlord is to take him to court, he will surely beg you, you can stay up to 1year for in that house why the matter is still in court.
And you can decide not to give him your house rent during this period. You cannot just quit like that.
When you do this thank me later.

I will lump all three of you together and enlighten you.

@ Gay dude said ". . . ceviche occurs just by marinating with lemons"
Well that is a misrepresentation, for ceviche to occur the marinade has to be predominantly citrus-fruit based and we talking heavy acid and this process itself WITHOUT HEAT cooks the fish.

Funny he had the cook in quotations and the gullible ones failed to understand the context.

In Nigeria nobody cooks fish in a heavy citrus marinade. For the most part half of a golf-sized lemon is used in seasoning about a pound of fish before been thrown in the oven/smoker/fryer that is not in anyway close to the process called "ceviche".

It is pertinent you all who follow sheepishly understand the concept and topic before jumping in a zombified bandwagon
Aren't lemons citrus fruits? Did he qualify his statement by saying that ceviche is only done by using lemons? The reason why he put "cook" is to show that by curing the fish it can now be eaten despite the non-use of fire. How do you know what every household in Nigeria does with their fish? There are people who are well-travelled and therefore have been exposed to different cuisines. I do not live in Nigeria but I am sure there are sushi houses there. Doesn't sushi have sashimi which is raw fish?
The only zombie here is you who reads things without trying to understand them. In your bid to undermine Prestonn, you look for errors where there are none. I truly do not get what you are saying and why you think you know everything.

This is a dead giveaway. You should have proof read before hitting submit
Actually Prestonn is 100% correct. Ceviche is seafood that has been cured in citrus juices (lime or lemon). If they sit for too long in those juices they become rubbery due to the acidic nature of those juices.
