Either he eats cow's meat or not does not change anything.
Politics / Re: Ademola Adeleke: I Will Be Osun State Governor By Next Friday by Damod88: 3:40pm On Jun 28, 2019
Nigerian political space is a vast looting machine cloaked in the form of an array of political parties such as APC, PDP, AC, LP, ADC, etc. Onstensibly, there is no difference between either the political parties or the individual politicians who control the parties to get a share of the oil rent that accrues to the government. In fact it can be argued authoritatively that what these groups of individuals have in common is the total plunder of the rentier economy which Nigeria is.

The hope that Nigerians often express when a potentially plunderer politician is coming to power is forlorn and it is sometimes derived from our passive inertia to organize and enthrone a more progressive government. We will continue to chase shadows until we become more reasonable.

Politics / Re: Herdsmen Attacks: Defend Yourself By Traditional Means - Afenifere Tells Yorubas by Damod88: 8:50pm On Jun 27, 2019
I thought before now that nairaland was a place for healthy and intellectual discurse. For the past two weeks that I had signed up to nairaland, I am now disillusioned with immature and largely unintellectual discussions that I often come across. I think nairaland should try reduce the number of uninformed and low IQ people on this site.

Politics / Re: Afenifere Tackles Osinbajo: You Are A Pastor, Stop Lying; Nigeria Not Safe by Damod88: 7:52pm On Jun 26, 2019
Only low IQ people will see anything meaningful in afenifere. They are bunch of old fools that their sudden death will save Nigeria a lot of trouble. In this regards ,it is not only afenifere that I want its sudden destruction, all other so-called socio-cultural groups should likewise be destroyed.

Osinbanjo doesn't represent the interests of Yoruba, he represents the interests of the entire nation. For afenifere to have made it look as though the vice president, because is a Yoruba man, represents the interests of the Yorubas shows how deluded these old fools are. As a matter of fact, do the interests of the Yorubas supersede the interests of other ethnic groups?

Concerning insecurity, the whole thing is blown out of proportion as if it is not the same south west I am resident. They are citing American British travel warnings as if America its is save. An average of 15000 people die annually from gun related violence in America. Last week China had to warn its citizens traveling to US to avoid some places.

The real problem with afenifere is that since they have been cut off from the looting machine, they seem to want to seize every opportunity to undermine the government. This is not to suggest that those in government currently are not looting. But you have to know that politics in Nigeria is a zero sum game. All Nigerians are criminals and thieves. The moment some criminals undo the other criminals, you will begin to see the criminals undone championing values they not believe in like true federalism and restructuring.

Until younger Nigerians become more informed and enlightened through qualitative education to understand the political tactics of these feudal aristocrats, Nigeria will forever remain trapped in darkness and beholden to the most reactionary elements in our society such as afenifere, arewa and indigbo.
Science/Technology / Re: Olawale John Olukunle, FUTA Researchers Develop Water HYACINTH Harvester by Damod88: 10:00am On Jun 26, 2019
creating such a machine is good. But the real problem is getting the entrepreneur who is ready to risk millions of naira to build an assembly line to commence commercial production .I don't think that is going to happen because no any Nigerian business man will invest such amount especially when there is no certainty of good return. You should know that there are far better Chinese made machines with cheaper prices that Nigerian entrepreneurs will prefer to import to waste their money on an unprofitable assembly line. Given that local market for such machine is too small and penetrating foreign markets may be difficult, you are more likely to see the machine ended up in the University museum if at all they have one.

Politics / Re: Tinubu, Yoruba Leaders Meet Buhari In Aso Rock Over Killings In South West by Damod88: 9:06am On Jun 26, 2019
The reason Nigerian youths do not have good judgement is that they are uneducated and unreasonable. Just like their fathers and mothers, they seem to understand everything through the prism of tribe and religion. No country where such ignorant people predominate can be successful because habits formed now will surely influence their behaviours tomorrow when they become leaders. It is a shame that we have not given up our primitive character which was the reason our people were sold into slavery. We will forever remain backward and insignificant in the world if we don't give up our primitive mentality.
Politics / Re: Tinubu, Yoruba Leaders Meet Buhari In Aso Rock Over Killings In South West by Damod88: 8:30am On Jun 26, 2019
People amply issues to satisfy their selfish interests. One thing that I am sure of is people will stop paying attention to herdsmen-farmers standoff as soon as Buhari's tenure ends. By then it would have stopped being a necessary and cheap tool to use. Perhaps another antibelly in relation to the ethnic origin of the next president will attract more attention.
Politics / Re: Igbo Congress Blasts Buhari, Wants Miyetti Allah Declared Terrorist Organisation by Damod88: 5:21pm On Jun 25, 2019
Nigerians both old and young are hypocrites.when ibos kill ibos it is not evil.when Hausas kill Hausas, it is OK. When Yorubas kill Yorubas ,there is nothing wrong with it. When Fulanis kill fellow Fulanis ,it is perfectly OK. But when Hausas kill igbos, a great evil has been done. When Yorubas kill Hausas or igbos, there is need for retaliatory attacks. We are just too primitive to coexist as human beings.
Car Talk / Re: Ellen Johnson Sirleaf Buys Ghanaian-made Katanka Car by Damod88: 4:56pm On Jun 25, 2019
Most Nigerians are unreasonable and therefore unfit to leave. I have found out that we are backward not only because we are foolishly religious and tribalistc, but most importantly because we are unreasonable. Our IQ is just too low to achieve what Europe, Middle East and Asia achieved during the medieval period. With our mentality,I am afraid ,we may likely suffer another colonisation.
Politics / Re: Governor Wike: Rivers Is A Christian State – No Apologies by Damod88: 6:59pm On Jun 24, 2019
This what happens when you have unintelligent criminals in charge of the people's wealth. Since they are incapable of improving the living conditions of their people, religion has become a subtle mean to seek sympathy from the poverty stricken populace.
Politics / Re: "Nigerians Work Very Hard, Shows Nigeria Is Bound To Do Well"- Osinbajo In US by Damod88: 11:19am On Jun 24, 2019
South Korea has a population of 50 million people and produces a GDP of 1.5 trillions dollars without oil. Nigeria has a population of 180 million people and produces a GDP of 405 billions dollars with oil accounting for more than half. The thing is it is not the work one does that really matters but the output per labour that really determines productivity. Another angle to look at it is most Nigerians spend their time doing petty jobs that do not really contribute to economic growth while most people in China, Japan and Korea spend their time working in assembly lines producing for the world. Our problem is we have extremely low productivity as a nation which is not good for economic growth.
Politics / Re: "Reno Omokri Is Not Rogue" - FFK by Damod88: 4:10pm On Jun 23, 2019
Good humanitarian heart transcends religion and ethnicity. A he would -be advocate of human freedom and dignity will transcend petty politics and assumes a much higher moral ground.

Since the Boko Haram insurgency started thousands had been killed and several others kidnapped. While the insurgency was going on, our feelings of sympathy followed the usual trajectory, that is, tribal and religious.

Despite the government effort to secure the release of the kidnapped Nigerians in Boko Haram's captivity, however some still remains. What is surprising however is the attitudes of some Nigerians who are using the issue to further divide the nation.

Leah Sharibu is not the only girl in Boko Haram captivity. There are several of them. But for the like of Reno Omokri to have singled out Sharibu in his campaign because it serves his hidden motive of religious fanaticism betrays whatever humanitarian principle he might have previously asserted.

I wonder if he would have written the book he wrote were Sharibu a Muslim, because as we write there are still dozens of Nigerians who are Muslims in Boko Haram captivity.

We are human beings and I think our priority should be to ensure the safety of our fellow humans without paying attention to the effermeral differences that has blighted our humanity. Just like the great Chinese philosopher, Confucius, said -"fix your heart on humanity and you shall be free of evil".Evil dominates in the world today because we have removed our eyes from humanity and instead fix our eyes on effermeral differences we call religion and ethnicity, and, pitiably in the process, have become our own enemies.

Travel / Re: Airlines Warned To Avoid Iranian Airspace After Iran Shot Down ₦79b US Spy Drone by Damod88: 11:15am On Jun 23, 2019
Black people all over the world are content with their slavish conditions which explains why they will continue to worship their white slave masters till they all perish. In a world where all majors races and civilizations are asserting themselves, it is only the black race that has remained docile and unable to influence the world in any meaningful way. North Korea has a population of 25 millions people and yet it is able to challenge the super powers of this world by building both conventional and nuclear capabilities which has deterred America from attacking the country. Nigeria is the largest black nation on earth without any contributions to the advancement of black people anyway in the world. For as long as no any black nations is developed to challenge the western world and get them to respect us, for so long will black people remain slaves. We will only content ourselves in worshipping Americans and continue to speak ill of those countries whose people do not want to be slaves by resisting American hegemony and imperialism.

Foreign Affairs / Re: US Called Off Planned Strike On Iran, 10 Minutes To Strike - Trump by Damod88: 8:00pm On Jun 22, 2019
America has no reason to go to war with Iran but the hawks in Trump's administration want to do it to satisfy their Zionist masters. For those who are saying that America will easily wipe out Iran within minutes of a possible war, I think what they are not aware of is the overall consequences of the war in the already volatile region. If an all out war breaks out America, though having a much stronger military, will find itself drawn out on many theatres of war. As the largest Shiite nation, Iran has been able to prop up its fellow Shiite allies in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen and Palestine for reciprocal help in any war with either Isreal or US. So, the potential of the war engulfing the whole region is what is worrisome for the American war enterprise Ltd and also the leverage the Iranians have to thawrt any aggression.

Politics / Re: Tolu Ogunlesi And Shehu Sani Slam Each Other On Twitter by Damod88: 7:09pm On Jun 13, 2019
Why should anyone expect Nigeria to make progress when people see the like of Sani as a hero? What Sheu Sani said obviously confirmed how woefully in knowledge and wisdom Nigerian political leaders are. This is kind of conversation you don't expect from a high school graduate let alone an old man like Sani. Well I am not surprised because I have always maintained the point that Nigerian leaders and their followers do have deformed brains.

Religion without morality is foolishness. Many are religious just because they want others to accord them the respect of Godliness. But the truth of the matter is religion without morality is utter foolishness.
Phones / Re: Huawei In Negotiation With Aptoide Over Google Play Store Replacement by Damod88: 10:00am On Jun 04, 2019
American and Chinese economies are so closely interdependent that any further escalation of the trade war will surely damage both economies. Just as Huawei is feeling the heat so also are many American soybeans farmers suffering due to the Chinese import restriction.

Contrary to what many who are not all that knowledgeable on sino-American relations are saying on naira land, the American ban on the Chinese high tech company is all about 5G.The speed with which Huawei has gone in its 5G network has made American decision makers become nervous about the possibility of the Chinese company controlling the world in 5G.But this has also come at a huge cost for American companies because they will be loosing almost 20 billions dollars in revenues that the Chinese company pays its American partners.

Whatever that happens in the high tech war, I think China has established itself as the leader in 5G having filed the most 5G patents, accounting for almost a third of all 5G patents filed globally.
