And the same woman will not give her hubby kidney o. That her boss will not donate even her cut fingernail to another person if they needed it. The more good you do, the more world people see you as a mugu. The person you look out for, na im dey show you shege. Na today? Just do things for God and humanity. |
veekid:Hello, the tie against Liverpool was decided by pen kicks. So, Liverpool could do it if facing PSG. |
casualobserver:Chai! Na another werey confam be this o. ![]() When I was asking how on earth both became candidates, dem think say I put water for mouth. |
CoronaVirusPro:Abeg na English we dey read o. The article says the Supreme Court refused his petition, agreeing with the initial lower court decision. My good people of Nairaland, nor be so the article talk? The Supreme Court officially entertains cases if convinced a case may have merit to be heard. Which one you dey yarey as if the case is a company in which you own shares? |
SalamRushdie:Lol. Someone battling Bipolar. You think say the guy dey always think straight? But the main issue is whatever his other legal status, aside being a US citizen, the criminal record made him deportable. |
TheBillyonaire:Weyrey confam! 28 more characters needed |
AndroBlaze:True. Other Western countries will soon follow Trump's lead. |
SalamRushdie:He did. Up to the Supreme Court that refused his petition. His dad legally relocated him to America as a kid. |
Brazino:He is actually justifying budget padding, if you read between the lines. ![]() Gbaja was HdR speaker for donkey years, yet he could not organise a road show nationwide or work with NOA to give the citizens the correct perspective and orientation about the roles of the different tiers of government. So that budget padding would not be needed by NASS members. Even constituency projects by NASS members have always looked iffy. Now padding on top. |
nairalanda1:I don't know about 1989 but I witnessed the years before that. Life became really tough from 1986 SAP. But before that, the period before 1989 that I witnessed in 9ja, we ran a pharmacy that sold some of the items listed in the survey. They were cheaper than the later 1989 prices though. I would say people had fewer things to spend money on: No buying data, DSTV, Smartphones, phone subscription, etc. Life was more basic. My memory is we used to buy a bag of rice, beans, garri and a gallon of oil. It was very affordable. The middle classes were more than now. A household with a teacher and a nurse would qualify as middle class back then. With a VW Beetle car and a Peugeot 504 in the family. It took less luxury to be a comfortable middle class. |
I trust 9ja and trend. Soon, 9ja politicians will buy up all the burial plots in Bethlehem, Jerusalem, Medina, near Vatican and River Jordan, etc. Until the govt of those countries put a ban on 9ja buyers. ![]() Brace up for more looting. RIP to the gentleman. |
Any man is who can afford but refuses to DNA test na mumu man. No need to beat them. Just ask her to park to pastor's house. |
Eiya, An urgent 2k babe wants to live on 1m monthly. ![]() If OP needed prayer as contribution from future wife, he would have looked for a pastor lady. No plan to sit NECO. Just 3.5m for business. And she can't afford data. Lol. |
LOLLLL ![]() The guy knows that most hardened sheeples are women. Anything juju, spiritual, religious or whatever, na women get am. Either one thing dey pursue them or dem dey pursue on thing. So, he's advocating for his regular customers. |
@ moatacad Very nice. Young people should embrace this. Can they do it online? What is the duration? Thanks. |
Numerouno94:It's about 8.45 billion Naira today. Pere. The babalawo wey tie 9ja must have been killed by IBB. Na only IBB know wetin he use 9ja destiny take do. |
ArcFresky:I'm telling you. You will raise bastards for 25 years. And you find out they are bastards when you are now retired and using walking stick. ![]() Some mumu still don't do DNA test on their kids. Na only one day Adam trust Eve to be alone. See wetin she cause till today. God forbid bad thing. Catch the OS early and kick her out now. You can still start a fresh. |
LOL ![]() E good as na fellow woman write am. A woman of 000.0001% value looking for a man of 98% value. Nor be witchcraft be that? |
columbus007:If the man nor careful, na the armed robber pikin go come kill him. No long story. The lady can go with the armed robber pikin and live her life. I nor dey too trust women story o. Was the man around when the armed robbers came? Who else witnessed it? Because the woman fit don play away. Sensing paternity test might show it one day, she spun a story. |
They have turned the country to Cow-nistan. Just how low the country will sink is anyone's guess. |
omikel:Brazilian Butt Lift. So, Seun, I nor fit just answer sombarry question? I must write epistle? |
Nobody has defined what being poor as a Nigerian actually means in 2025. Inflation has virtually wiped out the middle class segments of society. 9ja has a high level of poor people going by GDP and living standard indices. But by training in the family, there are things that are culturally frowned upon. Growing up, we were not super wealthy but you dare not go and eat in public anyhow. Certainly not showing gluttonous behaviour. Cultural norms were strong. On the other hand, hunger was no issue back then. These days, the poor feel very entitled. As for the girls, they want to escape poor living conditions at the speed of light. They believe excessive materialism, paid for by a rich guy, is their surest bet. Quite nauseating really. |
Fame1309:True. Women can never understand what some men have seen in the dating jungle. Some men have absolutely no regard or trust in women. Unfair, but you can hardly blame them. The same way some women say all men are scum. |
Peakdesign23:Hehehehe. ![]() Red flag? He kept ignoring dagger and sniper. A liar is extremely dangerous. You can never tell what he or she is capable of. |
LOLLLLLL Some people's hero. The looters have no shame or conscience at all. |
Mirasteel:Some may soon be hosting talk shows, inviting other top terrorists to share tips. With millions of followers and nothing will happen. This is 9ja. |
Just how many senior bandits do we have in this country? I have lost count of media reports about how one bandit top gun or the other has been killed. But kidnapping and banditry are rising still. |
Factcheck0001:In marriage, culture really matters. A man or woman can "love" you/the spouse but hates your tribe and culture. It seems impossible, but we see it often after the spouse is dead or divorced. In her mind, she probably sees her children as Igbo only, instead of being Owo children. In my view, I don't believe she went to the palace to first discuss it with the Oba. Any woman from a place with deep-rooted culture would do so. Because her children are subjects of that king. According to our current constitution, the governor has to approve and present the staff of office to the oba. Or done on his behalf according to law. Owo has a process of producing a king. It was followed and done openly. |
Gentlestudent95:No big deal, dude. You can do it. Which original content again, Seun. So, we should just dey shalaye like na beer parlour we dey? |
Greenback:Look, over time, people become distant from each other. Even related people. Urhobo, Isoko, most senior Itsekiri chiefs, a good percentage of Itsekiri and the Olu, Iseluku, Illah, Onicha-Ugbo, Onicha-Olona and many Delta people are of Benin origin. Today, those tribes/people are in Delta. No problem. Benin has people in Rivers state such as Degema, Ogba, a large part of Rivers Obiokpor and others. People like Wike and Amaechi. A large tree will spread its seeds far and wide. Most Edo North claim Benin origin too. If today's politics decides things this way, let it be. Look, Benin artifacts are coming home after almost 130 years. A stone thrown up will eventually come back to Earth. |
DeLaRue:Dem still dey. Sri Lankans founded it. Despite rivals Lyca and Giff Gaff being successful, too, Lebara has really grown in top European economies. I thought Lyca were more likely to enter 9ja. |
