Whois:And the school has no joy. ![]() |
aspabay:The politicians are their mentors. ![]() |
Vision101:Tinubu is taking notes down. He will do many things in his second term. Many of those things will be controversial. But will be certainly bold steps. |
hitekk:With that score, as a babalawo, his concoction of leaves no go cure fever o. E fit be poison sef. ![]() |
If you are a good hubby material, you have a very high chance ending up with an end time woman (baddie). Because you are more likely to be naïve. Baddies have been around and easily know good guys. Bad guys pick the best women too. They easily spot good girls because they've been around. Growing up, I knew several men who were useless but had 3 or 4 wonderful wives. Educated and pretty too. Not like they were rich or very handsome. While good men had one agbaya wife. |
judewrites:Dazall. Even Bible tok am say woman nor dey love man. Na to submit. All the men wey dey find woman to "love them for who they are and not for money", na long thing una dey. ![]() Na you go love and provide. Her own na to submit. |
Sheuns:I have rulers to sell to them. Even tape, for those with bent d!cks. ![]() |
National Character observed. North & South represented. North is marginalised here though. ![]() |
Ebubu7:But remember the US pharmacist would have spent straight eight years to do it. It's in 9ja people are obsessed with titles. In many countries, dentists are technically Dr, but don't use the title. In 9ja you will see Pharm. Adebayo, Engr. Okonkwo, Arch. Audu, etc. Right from time, any medical qualification conferred the Dr title. Not so for other health care fields. Govt should focus on training care professionals faster and better. We need loads of them. Not about even longer years and titles. Australians train Pharmacists in 2 years, if they already have a sound 2.1 BSc in Biochemistry or such chemistry-heavy courses. |
adams123:Matthew 19: 10-12. But read verse 9 too. Jesus didn't say don't marry. But the apostles found the terms of marriage, especially the only valid reason for divorce and remarriage, quite strict. So the apostles felt marriage is not worth the stress on those terms. As we know, no apostles got married after joining Jesus' ministry. In most religions, the acts of early religious men become a guide to later leaders. So, if apostles, with all their gifts and anointing found marriage daunting, it's even more so now. Catholics follow that practice. But long ago, catholic priests could get married. |
Kobojunkie:Let's not fool ourselves. Marriage is overrated. Love, if it exists, is fickle. Those who have spent decades in it know better. Fact is, men or women, most go into it for the wrong reasons. Often rose-tinted in the beginning. If not for procreation, I see no reason for it anymore. But women never accept responsibility for anything. I can only say what I have seen from a man's perspective to the topic. The topic is from a woman's perspective. |
Sunmolar:When the hubby finally finds out her dirty habits, behaves like a log of wood in bed or never takes the initiative, the dude will tire. Especially if you left a good girlfriend, to marry current one due to tribal or religious preference, the dude dey regret. In any case, in our clime, love has no place in marriage. It has become a transaction. So, most are doomed from the beginning. |
Two major reasons the West shut the door against a country's citizens are: If a country is at war or economically ravaged or both. Citizens leave by any means mostly never to return. 9ja is at war, tribal and religious war. One slow baba once said, GEJ killing Boko is killing the North. He meant civil war in disguise. 9ja people don't realise that banditry is war against Hausas and Southern people by religious elements. kidnappers are mostly same people. They use the proceeds to fund religious extremism. Corrupt leaders and officials wrecked the economy already. |

May God preserve this dude o. Our youth need to have mentors. Correct ones. Not Ebanga Eganga type leaders or those that won't leave power to vibrant young people. |
Ha! Dis na sessua arrazmet o, as one aunty in Ibadan would say. ![]() |
9ja. One woman will soon come to say how he ate gbegiri and amala or ofe onugbu and fufu at her bukateria that year. ![]() |
Lol. Dude should threaten to break off the whole Sh@@t and see list reduce quick. Haba! Poor people have no understanding of the value of money. Rich people spend keeping an eye on value, and proportion of expense relative to income/wealth. Poor people most times spend all income to survive daily or even borrow to spend. So, if they believe a relative or in-law has money, they will bill them, having no idea of the value of that amount. It's like a very hungry attending a party with lots of free food. He will just eat and eat. |
Funny lady. ![]() So, she doesn't know that she has no sister yet? A bad sibling is worse than a bad friend. You can easily cut off a bad friend. You cannot totally cut off bad siblings (family occasions, etc), but keep them very far from yourself. When you bring bad people close in the name of forgiveness, they refine their wickedness. They will just come and finish you off. Be wise like a serpent and innocent like a dove. |
No surprise here. On two different occasions, different women once threatened to accuse yours truly of sexual assault. One was a bit drunk and physical with me o. I only explained a procedure to follow to her. Na workplace back then. Hustling days. Luckily, we were being recorded on CCTV. Oyinbo girl o. She later apologised. Another girl, darkie, also threatened to accuse me. Because I corrected her behaviour. She knew I was right but they don't take correction. She said "you know as a woman, the police will believe me. We are in a lift and no witness in your favour." I dey fear women since then. I nor dey enter lift wey only one woman dey inside. They don't care about fairness or justice. Only oppression. Some of these women can weaponize accusation and it will set the bar for conviction higher and higher. Many true victims will suffer and some will even refuse to come forward. |
RepoMan007:But the thing is that, one 9ja woman will later benefit from these guys' "hard work". Once abroad, they will be forming woke and kick their husband from their home. The same women are laughing now. |
publicenemy:I think the Ooni goes to a bit too many occasions. He could be more selective. Being selective gives less room to speculators and those who interpret every move wrongly. I know he's using a modern touch and wants to be more visible and accessible. I don't think his manner is wrong. Just that our clime does not value humility. GEJ comes to mind. Monarchs in Scandinavia, especially Denmark and Sweden, are popular for their simplicity. Advanced countries value such humility. We are not there yet. From what we know historically, the Alaafin is an imperial warrior king and the Ooni is a priest king. In modern times, both the empire and priesthood are symbolic due to modern Nigeria and Middle-Eastern religions. So, this supremacy battle fanned by people without any voice in real life is too bad. |
Dude, stay away from that family. Send a gift. You can meet them at a family function BUT NEVER visit their house. Certainly never ever be a lone anywhere with the lady. And keep shush. Since you didn't speak up at the night. |
Lol. In a disorganised country, everything is a miracle. A prof finally stopped playing "god" and did the job expected of him and that's a miracle? |
Seun, (1)-Find a way to curb bigotry/tribalism. The Igbo vs. Yoruba stuff is nauseating. Same with religious stuff. (2)-Educate mods to stop pushing useless topics to FP. (3)-Beggars spam every topic/post. Even sombre ones about tragic incidents. Curb it. We need something like our good, old TENs back. A dedicated charity section would help. (4)-NL needs a face-lift, biko. |
The guy na fool. You don't make noise like this. After dealing with her, the new fiance go run leave her. |
correctyourself:Actually, Victor may have just dodged a bullet. It shows she just wanted to marry to tick the box, not because Victor ticked most of her boxes. Victor should dust himself up and move on. He will meet the right lady ahead. |
JoeEeL:Even if you spend 24/7 with her, no guarantee. She nor dey go market? ![]() Nature abhors vacuum. Common 3 days travel you travel, is enough for her to forage. Every man, just do paternity test on ALL kids. Then leave the rest. God protect and raise JP's family. |
The first wife na legend. A confident lady. They don't make many like her these days. |
UHLmoving:Good map |
phemmie06:Yes, rare, but there are lawful ones. It could be anthropologists or palaeontologists moving old bones from place of discovery to the museum or institute to study. It can also be a body, or parts thereof, exhumed in the cause of investigation and going for pathology exam. The police may already be involved in the latter. |
Lol. ![]() So, IMF dey form empathy after supporting mass impoverishment policies. Wonders shall never end. |
