4tomandchi:Listen, a man disciplines his son to prepare for the hard life a man must face. By the the time the son becomes a successful man, the father is usually late. Even if the son later realises father was right to be strict, he's not there to be rewarded. So, a man trains his son to be successful, selflessly. A man lives a life of sacrifice. |
Marc3500:Some are very bitter over hubby's death. Often, they can't quite make the kids they brought to the marriage to see new hubby as father. Also, no matter what the new hubby does, the kids brought in will always feel their late dad would have done better if he was alive. There's a lot of psychology at play. It gets worse if their mum dies before their stepdad. Most ignore the stepdad. Imagine using your youth energy to raise step-kids before your own biological kids grow up. If you become very ill, die or become poor before you train your own biological kids, you go hear ween. No matter how good you were to step-kids. I have seen too many pathetic cases. In my view, it's even worse marrying a widow. I will only advise marrying a widow if you are a widower and your kids are already grown up. And her kids are grown too. Don't use old or young age to look after kids that are not yours. The world has nothing good to offer good men. Good men lose out. Let nobarry deceive you. |
Lalami3232:Dude, nothing anybarry go tell me, you obtained your PhD from Yaba Left with distinction. ![]() Look at her long list. Most men who meet these criteria are raising kids fathered by other men in their house. The better a hubby you are, the more bastards you are raising in your house. Nor be only 18, she for make am 318. |
Afolue:Any guy wey marry single mother, na im know. One innocent guy will now help her raise this baby and the innocent man will get no thank you for it. I'm yet to see where it benefitted the man. She will transfer her angle to the innocent man, no matter how much he tries. Some will say don't generalise. But chances of a single mother being toxic is high. Do you want to take a gamble with something as important as marriage? Widowed, divorced or baby mama, no much difference. It's every man's decision. |
Mbanda:Ah! Ejo. Edakun. You wan still cut 30k abi na 70k when man pikin dey take hold body? ![]() Nor loud am o. Don't be a wicked sombarry. Nothing wrong with welcoming the First Lady happily. Irrespective of who her hubby is or politics. Even more so, a lady with family ties to Delta. But the MC should have been more sensitive. |
daniwise:Whether you are Cicero or Shakespeare, the message is clear. Nobody finds 9ja worth fighting for. Except the very unfortunate ones. |
rosebowl01:Look, aside some working class, soldiers they send as cannon fodder to Borno and very average Nigerians, how many of the elite put 9ja first or sacrifice anything for 9ja? Many Ex-Eagle players of the days before football became lucrative are dying in poverty. Most don't 9ja's care and so care less about 9ja. Simple. |
mecuries:Yep. Rare but it happens. Seen a few of it. But I doubt cuppy has reached menopause. |
Ndabooski:Atiku has a more humane idea to run an economy. Neither trader nor loan shark/cut-throat rent collector type. But he's a terrible politician. He inherited all of Yar'Adua's PDM structure, won governorship and was elevated to VP. He knew that OBJ was comfortable handing over to a Northerner (Shagari in 1979). All he had to do was play his game well with OBJ from 1999 to 2007. Even if OBJ wanted 3rd term, it would have meant 3rd term for VP too. Terrible idea, that 3rd term, but there are ways to oppose something without appearing awfully disloyal. By 2002, Atiku already made it known through body language that he won't support OBJ second term. The secret service already knew his Ghana-Must-Go moves with NASS and so OBJ knew. He could have got OBJ impeached if OBJ was not smart. Then came 2023. He could not even give Obi VP ticket. He could have argued that PDP needed consistency at the top. Obi could not lose out totally, so he left to join Labour. The whole Obidient movement took Obi by surprise. Atiku would have narrowly won with Obi as VP. At least with about 13 million to about 11 million for Tinubu. |
Love800:Mothers mostly replicate the love they have/had for their dads to their sons. Fathers see their daughters as mini-mums. I don't joke with my daughter whose habits resemble my late mum's so much. ![]() |
Samantha125:In fact, some people, men and women, were never cut out to be parents. QED. |
Ablesam171:I used CFA frequently in the 1990s. The Naira had far more weight. What of today? I have followed the currency since. Cedis too with Ghanaians doing business from Europe to Ghana. If keeping it's value and not losing value like Naira did since last year is in France's interest, far better. Naira that is in Nigeria's interest in your opinion, how has it fared? I saw relatives buy VW Beetle 1300 for 2,500 Naira, Peugeot 504 for N4,500. Naira fall has been catastrophic over the past 40+ years. A disaster. How long have you used or followed these currencies? Naira, Cedis and CFA? You think everything is politics? |

These other W. African countries get mind o. Why would countries with more stable CFA or New Cedis dump them for one to be diluted by Naira? Is ECO going to be truly free-floating or propped up with billions of dollars like Naira? There is even no true free movement of people and goods yet. |
This is a genial, hakimical super-maradonic permutation. ![]() |
OUK, you are right. A short second book would be in order. It should contain Swiss Bank accounts details and secrete codes, assets in Monaco, France, Germany, UK, etc. Include how construction company JB can help us locate some. ![]() |
BeardedMeat:So you mean Uncle Bio Bio has Ebanga-nism? ![]() Sense we nor kee you. |
Ushman333:But that's what a lawyer does. Is Akpabio a minor or vegetable that his wife needs PoA to sue for him? ![]() You are trying to quote what even kids know. She's not suing on his behalf or she's his legal representative? She's suing as a wife who she claims has suffered loss of reputation or something along those lines. SANs will be ready to eat her money though. After all looted AK and NASS money still plenty. A person who claims to trust his/spouse in 9ja, even Africa, in sex matters, is a clown. Worldwide even. That Ebanga and his equally cheating wife have cemented that assertion. TRUST NOBODY. Mrs. Akpabio should not fool herself. |
Ushman333:Legally, Mrs. Akpabio cannot. Akpabio is alive. Natasha did not mention Mrs Akpabio in the allegation. That is why Victor Giwa cleverly highlighted openly that they don't want to drag Mrs. Akpabio into the matter. Sense we not kee him. ![]() Defamation is under Law of Tort. A tortious act is a civil one and personal to the person claiming to have being defamed. Mrs. Akpabio should be careful not to eventually risk being accused of vexatious litigation (if she brings up more law suits) meant to further harass or intimidate Natasha. Akpabio should be able to easily defend himself. If it's a lie, Natasha won't have any concrete evidence to tender. |
Thomthom:Maybe Boko ordered state govt to do or face mayhem. This may spread to all Sharia states and FG may be be forced to do nationally. It seems farfetched now but don't be surprised. |
amaridigital:They were called opio before that. Once I hear single girl yeyebrity and Abuja, I feel sick. Olosho too much. |
calabaman:Me sef don promise am private jet. No evidence, she go wait tire, ![]() |
Yampotatocarrot:If mama has kids with cars, maybe they would have fixed the house too. If they don't have cars yet, when they buy, they will create an entrance. The nature of the terrain from the front looks funny. Maybe they can use the road behind the house. But truly, they did not adapt the environment to suit and old lady. Still better than nothing. |
Mama Ajayi has become Iya Gomina. Eku rire o. ![]() |
jojothaiv:Lol, Hope she will gladly introduce the "community project" girl to her brother and future son. Women want another woman's son to accept the rotten and wayward girl they won't accept for their relatives. Very foolish. |
Eriokanmi:Even Vinicius Jnr. just last year here. He looks too African. |
NewDigitalWorld:Roberto Baggio missed his pen in USA 1994 FIFA WC final game against Brazil. He blasted it over the bar. That Pepperoni abi wetin be hin name of a coach na mumu, Who better to take the pen than who just scored about 20 minutes earlier, 1 minute after coming on at half-time? Pepperoni lost home and away. The two he wanted to take pen did not score home and away. Where were they when Lookman was scoring a hattrick to win the cup final last year? Lookman should be packing his bag. Any good offer from a good German or French club, just go. Avoid EPL for now. Once these Italians start blaming you, the fans can become very cruel. |
eepeepook:Dude, block her. Don't stoop so low. She left, so let her be history. |
Xisnin:True. But it also reminds us of the fading memory of history. Hitler in his early days had a lot of supporters across Europe. Many supported him in the UK, people like Mosely did so with his British Union of Fascists, BUF. Today, people in UK pretend as if Nazis/fascists were only in Germany/Italy. Enoch Powell ranted "Rivers of Blood" against immigrants from Black/Asian Commonwealth as late as 1968. Even as EU member, Labour often criticised EU while actually knowing the benefits of EU, just to not give the advantages of anti-EU positions amongst the electorate. So their position on EU was ambiguous. Most vocal conservatives disingenuously maligned EU, while moving their businesses to Ireland (EU) to benefit from it. E.g. Rees-Mogg and co. So, the right wing Conservatives and far right won the Brexit argument. |
Xisnin:Labour often deports more than the conservatives when in power. Labour tries hard to impress, but no matter how much Labour deports, they are never appreciated by the voters. Blair introduced huge fines for those employing illegals and deported a lot. There is already the bias that only Conservatives or recently, the untested right wingers can sort immigration. |
zero8zero:Once you accept a small one, bigger ones will go to APC states in SS (as Obaseki was in PDP). The guy confused by everything in Edo now won't know the difference. Let them take fistula centre "peanuts" to Yobe or Sokoto. Any obs/gyna specialist who can't diagnose and treat fistula in 2025 has no business being a medic. You won't know this of course. Everything is about tribal politics and "Baba so pe" nonsense for your like. |
