As much as I would like to agree or sympathise with your perspective, and not dismissing your feelings, your comment equally reeks of desperation and emotional blackmail.

What most people don't discuss and fail to realise is the sensitivity connected to the issue of DNA test, and what it means for the man. In some cases, it's about paranoia rather than distrust for the wife. I would expect the man to find a pragmatic means to clear his doubts and satisfy his curiosity. How he does that is another subject entirely.

My take. smiley
Dude, the only pragmatic thing na DNA.
Nor let anybarry blackmail you.

Women capitalize on men's trust to bang about anyhow.

Nor dull yourself. Do the test jeje. FOR ALL THE KIDS.

The low class people in Nigeria should also start being responsible. They are mostly the ones producing the criminals, Oloshos and yahoo boys
Most of the lower classes don't have that awareness. Most should be in villages where farming and traditional values keep them grounded. But herdsmen, poor infrastructure and others push millions that have nor skills for urban life to cities.

They breed kids they can't support in cities, leading to a large pool for recruitment of criminals.

We are in deep trouble.

You don't have to be a billionaire to have fun in Nigeria but there are great money making opportunities in Nigeria. I have seen it for myself.
A relative was saying more than you saying now 10 years ago.

I will collect her from the Airport on New Year's Eve!

She's even leaving kids and hubby behind in 9ja. With little hope of reunion soon due to immigration changes. MSc she could have easily done 8 years ago, relocated with one kid and hubby then. She could have had the others here.

Nor make mouth too much. I have heard many like you over the years.

Let me not begin with promising young people 9ja extinguished in their prime this year. She's even leaving partly to leave the sorrow behind. She grew up in a rich home, inherited properties and has a good income.

Pray that 9ja doesn't happen to you.

Nobody wanted to leave 9ja. When leaving, it was to get degrees, then return in maximum 10 years.
Decades have now gone. 9ja was better when we left than now.

Before my koro koro eye, we bought a brand new 504 for 4,500 Naira. Yes, salary was not high but an average civil servant could afford it on hire-purchase.

When you leave Nigeria, do not abandon the country entirely.

Get your foreign citizenship, foreign education and create a business you can run from Nigeria and then, come back even if to live in Nigeria part-time or full time. The biggest mistake I made was staying away from Nigeria for to long, I have now learnt my lessons. It does not not matter the situation in the country, I believe I have what it takes to succeed and live a better life way beyond anything I can have abroad.

The richest Nigerians are in Nigeria.

I wish Tayo best of luck.
The richest Nigerians that were given oil wells, exclusive import licences and waivers, licence to operate banks, etc.

How many made it without govt patronage or politics?

Don't be deceived.

Ask Fayose's brother who invested in 9ja. Hear his story.

If you leave 9ja, don't look back. Those of us that looked back to invest hard-earned money regret it.

9ja people are just like their govt. No difference. The politicians are a product of the people.

It seems Mexicans have their kids at an early age. Rey Mysterio Jr is 50. His dad died at 76- meaning he was 26 when he has Jr. And his son is in his 27 and recently got married and will prob have a child soon. These guys are fast.
In Latin America, much of Asia (except Japan, Korea, etc), and Middle East , people marry early. I know of Caribbeans who at 50, are already great grand parents. They all had first kid at 16 or 17. It is we Africans and Europeans/Westerners that marry with grey hair. grin cheesy

The max to train a chicken from day old to 8 weeks can never exceed 10k, why are people selling chicken for 25k?

Nigerians are just inherently wicked.
If you have ever commercially raised chicken, you will know better. Feed is super expensive.
Remember not every chicken survives. But a farmer has to break even and make a profit.

That is why developed countries subsidise farming. To make food affordable.
TravelRe: My trip to Switzerland (pictures included) by Dancebreaker: 3:00am On Dec 20, 2024
zackmann:
I've been to a lot of countries, and I must say that the cost of living in Switzerland is really high. The average price of a bottle of water here is $5. When I arrived last week, I spent 55 dollars on a pack of bottled water, which didn't even last for a week. I've been here for 9 days now, and I must say that my bank account is really feeling the heat. Everything here is damn expensive. Switzerland is for the rich abeg. Nothing anybody wan tell me. Today, when I went shopping for groceries, I thought I was going to spend not more than 80 dollars, but to my utmost surprise, I ended up spending over 200 dollars on little items. When I was in Norway, Australia and Netherlands, I thought that the cost of living was high (these countries are quite expensive to live in), but this is just on another level. I'm leaving here on Saturday abeg, before my account starts wailing.

Guys, let me use this medium to drop a piece of advice. If anyone is advising you to leave Nigeria, show gratitude to that person, because he/she wants the best for you. I've been touring for 6 months now, and I must confess that Nigeria is a sh*thole. This is actually an understatement. If there was a worse word to use to attribute Nigeria, I'd have used it. Once I'm done with my travels, I'm permanently relocating to a European country. I'm just using this medium to gather my facts first, before making a final decision.

I'm an American citizen by birth, but I've not lived there for 2 straight years; I've been on and off. America is kinda cool, but I've no interest in living there permanently. UK and Canada are for introverted people, in my own opinion. Right now, I'm thinking of maybe Sweden or Germany for permanent relocation. I was forced to learn Deutsch, because I studied in Germany from 2016-2022; before relocating back to Nigeria, to handle my Dad's businesses. I learn languages fast, but it took me 6 months to almost perfectly learn Deutsch language. I now speak English, French, Spanish, Deutsch, Latin, and a little bit of Hebrew. I'll be posting more with time. Merry Christmas in advance guys.

Photos below
Enjoy your tour, dude.

Sure, CH is very expensive but pay is good too.

Apart from skiing I can't remember anything exciting about Switzerland. Social life is quite dull. Their version of Deutsch is even less appealing than Austrian version. I thought Bavarian was terrible compared to Hochdeutsch but CH one takes the biscuit.

Your colourful description of Nigeria is understandable but how have we the 35 to 60 years bracket done better as citizens than our father's generation?

It's easy to point fingers but it takes a village to raise a child. It also takes a lot of people to make a country colourful as you described.

I have warned her on several occasions that this is not healthy for you, and she like to watch big d.ic.k and hard intimacy, which she is not new to.

I have adviced her decently but i still see it in her history, she even hides to watch it.

I don't think for a female to be addicted to this is activities is good, what do you guys think?
Dude, wake up. Women watch porn. In some places, even more than men.

I wonder why it surprises you. Are they not human beings? I have never understood why people watch porn, but I'm not fixated on gender. It's like punishing yourself watching others do it.

You should sit down with her and ask why she does it. Ask what she gains from it and if she pleasures herself using it. Then find a way forward.

What if the next babe you meet has already sampled 300 big dickuses instead of merely watching? She won't write it on her forehead.

A lot of women are looking for a big dickus, whether they watch porn or not. In the same way an average guy would like an "elusive" tight pvssy. grin grin cheesy cheesy

It is called "Igue" festival. But they now claim it's pagan. Yet they celebrate POTUS setting a Turkey bird free to celebrate American Thanksgiving.

On the other hand, my mom sold her only piece of land and some jewelry to give me half of my first semester's tuition. After involving family members, my dad reluctantly gave me ₦400,000, stating that was all he could afford. I thanked him for the support.

Fast Forward to Today:
I struggled and worked odd jobs to make ends meet, determined never to ask him for help again. Over time, I’ve become financially stable, secured a good job, and am now a permanent resident. I give my dad a monthly allowance and occasionally send more during festive seasons. My mom, on the other hand, gets spoiled with gifts, extra money, and I’ve even invited her to visit and spend time with me in the U.S.

Now, my dad is broke and has suggested I buy him a car and increase what I do for him, despite the fact that my parents are separated and he currently lives with his second wife. I’ve told myself I won’t go above and beyond for him, especially since he chose to prioritize his lifestyle and the new wife (who came with a stepson). I find it hard to reconcile his past decisions with his current expectations.

Am I in the wrong here?
Do for him what you can conveniently afford. He should not be dictating to you. His new wife may even join him soon in entitlement mentality and be forming "the loving and dutiful wife and stepmother." grin cheesy

You should have converted 400k in dollars and noted it down. You can still check how much in dollars 400k was back in 2016.

As soon as you were settled enough, you should have sent back the current equivalent in Naira and returned to him.

However, he helped to raise you. The Bible says honour your dad and mum. Do your own part.

If out of the abundance of your kindness you buy him a car, fair enough.

There are many kings in Yorubaland that are ahead of Olubadan e.g. Owa Obokun of Ijeshaland, Akarigbo of Remo, Soun of Ogbomoso, Oluwo of Iwo, Ataoja of Osogbo, Timi of Ede, Osemawen of Ondo, Olugbo of Ugboland, Ewi of Ado-Ekiti, etc. Historically, Olubadan is nowhere near these Obas.
The Olowo of Owo. He's even mentioned in Ifa corpus. The quintessential compendium of Yoruba history, science, medicine, pantheon and religion. Only few other direct progenitors of modern kings like Sango (Alaafin), Obalufon, etc are mentioned.

Truly, the Alake and Olubadan are just about 200 years old. Olowo stool has existed since about 1019 AD and already a well-established Kingdom by 1400 AD.

They can generate a single "Covique 27" according to Bubu and make a trillion dollars in no time. Pharma will never lose. Yes, jobs will be lost temporarily.

As deadly as Covid-19 was, big pharma refused to release the vaccine patent to SA, India and other countries capable of mass-producing it.

My conclusion over malaria is that pharma people were never really serious about it. It does not generate much money for them as we think.
