feminist wanna be errywhere.
Little did y'all ladies girls know that men's life are a lot busier than that of any woman, while you're thinking bout going shopping, lunch and beach... He's busy masturbating his brain on multiplying his wealth, getting more commas to his account balance and building an empire. This alone is enough to keep men's blood up in the head rather than have it complete the hydrolic system of a flaccid third leg.
Ironically... girls need guys more for show off among their peers. A guy would rather show off his exotic car(s), blings, stacks (money) than a girl who brings nothing buy sex to the table.
*Modified* How many time y'all ladies girls see Mayweather show off his girl(s) |

pulsa: I apologize if I came out wrong, now that I read through my comment I have realised it was a tad too tribalistic. I did not mean to insult any ethnic group as I have profound respect for the Igbo's as they are extremely intelligent, enterprising, and if you will agree with me technologically savvy. I have corrected my post as I duly apologise for coming out wrong. intelligence and smartness is no respective of age, sex or tribe... So is idiocy and stupidity.
My point is.. You are who you are because you chose to become who you are.
No talent is valuable until it's discovered, developed and harnessed, so I say you humble yourself and acquire the knowledge you think someone is better off at. The people you mentioned are humble enough to learn that "enterpreneural" skills.

pulsa: I have a very practical and proved idea on building better and much more efficient solar panels, but the problem is I don't know how to build a prototype, in fact I don't know how to build anything and this has always been my problem, sometimes I wish I was Igbo, they seem to be able to build things while we seem to be majorly good at thinking and educational pursuits, you have no idea how jealous and sad I feel when I see thread of prototypes of equipment built by them which a lot of times is always them reinventing the wheel. you are a disgrace to your existence, trying to hide under the guise of ethnicity and taking advantage of this awesome thread with the intent to turn it into another e-war battle ground is just pathetic and shameful.
I do not care where you're from or which tribe you are cos your individual ilk is inconsequential.
NB: I would implore all mature Nairalanders to ignore this person as I have saved us the trouble of pleasuring him |

My point is...Can a Lexus handle that?.
Now the benz is an E430 cos he replaced it with a 16plug engine. See picture below. /i]

Montalo: Most a times its always that way. Getting stuck between two options. Sticking to your career path and ensuring you are passionate about it is always the best and fun as well. It may take time in yielding rewards but when it starts you are definitely gonna be wowed. Experience matters a lot in engineering. I once worked in a firm that literally pays me nothing but am enjoying skills I learnt from them those days now. But if your situation is extremely critical and you must survive, then take the one with the pay. But you must never loose focus. Always update yourself in technological knowledge. Save some cash for technical trainings having in mind you are gonna get back to your field ASAP. thanks.. Appreciate this advice, I think I know what to do already... It's just saddening when you go through school to study a 5yrs course only to come out and earn less or same as those of 4yrs and less. Do indulge me if my last statement offends anyone, no pun intended |
Career › Re: Electrical Engineering: Aspirants and Practitioners by Danfuster(m): 12:14am On May 22, 2016 |
Guitarlife: Good day guys, Am 29yrs and I presently work with a bank as a full staff. I just earned my M.Eng degree in Electrical Machines and Power systems in a Federal University. I am kind of bored with banking and I do have my sights set on a Ph.D. I am however concerned with getting working experience in Electrical Engineering before I put in for Ph.D pls all how can you all advise me. I have never worked in an engineering firm. I have a 2:1 at bachelors and my M.Eng is 4.0/5.0. I have wprk experience with two top banks so far but I wanna change career path. Can I get into management in an Engineering firm ? How best can I go about it? Am already evaluating Ph.D scholarship offers but I would love to garner engineering work experience first. Thanks. I believe this has been duly addressed at the first 5pages of this thread, basically... PhD Is useless in Engineering unless you wanna lecture cos no firm wants to waste huge money on same result they'd get outta a M. Eng, oh... This in turn means it reduces your chances of getting your career job.
Trust me... The answers you seek is in the first five pages of this thread. Ajanlekoko and others did a good job on that
Cheers |

I'm so wowed with all I've seen on here, ranging from offices and field personel, I duff my hat for y'all.
I studied Electrical Electronics Engineering with a flair for control and Instrumentation and electromechanics... Basically, I'm the type that likes to sweat and get his fingers dirty.
I recently just got called to a job... Two actually but the first is with a penta company (Marine and land) offering stipend...emphasis on the stipend and the other is a microfinance offering more.
I'm confused as to which to go with cos the before I have a flair for and but can barely take care of transport and feeding which in turn means I'm working for free.
The later is around Apapa but not in tune with my career path.
Wiser ones, pls advice... Speak to me!!!

kbams241: More pix after harvest OP, I really do commend your entrepreneurship skill and zeal, I like that you're doing something for yourself and not waiting on white collar. However I want to point out something you probably know or just ignorant of.
Catfish are known to be rugged due to their survivability in their harsh habitat but that isn't enough reason to stress the fish cos i also understand its off higher value in money and boosting your production.
You see those fins turning blood red...that's a sign the fish is stressing and could lead to death. out of water in a wheelbarrow without water to help it relax, then into a bowl putting it in a difficult position to weigh, this a kind of cruelty to animal. Then again... What do I know, just saying |
