Jesus said "thy will be on earth as it is done in heaven " Whatever idea you have of heaven should be put into practice here, in India if you kill a cow you'll be sent to jail, most religions aim to religionize their country even atheists have atheinized Russia, China, North Korea
Why shouldn't Christians Christianize Nigeria, God punish all greedy pastors and priests in this country. |

DeSepiero: Okay So who in your story did not think something was true but went ahead to believe in it? I don't know Actions speak louder than words, let me just ask if it were up to you won't you find it a bit relaxing when someone just ignores you and bravely moves ahea |

DeSepiero: Your story doesn't prove who was correct or wrong. I recall that a deluded fellow is the one who sticks to his beliefs even in the face of contrary evidence. Delusion is the act of making yourself believe something that you don't think is true |

Example 5:Now two boys were seen walking down a dark forest the one who looks older called Tim while the one who looks younger called Jill it seems they were having a conversation
Jill - "I'm scared the shadow people are waiting down there at the end of the forest"
Tim- "Hahahaha there are no such things as Shadow people"
Jill- "They are real, Bob and James have seen one of them"
Tim- "Look shadow people are just a myth, It has evolved as Grim reaper heck it even appeared in Harry Potter as dementors see it's not real"
Jill- "And hhoww are you sure the Grim reaper, dementors are not real maybe they are and they are just invisible"
Tim- "Look it's not real alright"
Jill- "Can you prove it's not real"
Tim- "Haaa prove it's real, anyone can say anything is real because it's invisible, your stupid for believing something like that.........(To cut the long story short Tim kept insulting and arguing with Jill throughout the rest of the journey)
Given these two brothers who would you call deluded?
The one that is scared of something he was told or the other brother who instead of proving his faith by walking bravely into the dark prefers to waste words arguing? |

dalaman: The theist always use God as their default position for " I DON'T KNOW ". While the atheist is honest to admit that he/she doesn't know, the theist just use God and magic always as an explanation. The theist knows nothing and has NO answer to anything. He just uses God to cover up for his lack of knowledge. This can very clearly be demonstrated.
We can simply turn the questions right back at the christians here and other theist and ask them. I will specifically ask the christians here to tell us exactly how their God created the things they are asking the atheist to provide answers to and you will see that they do NOT have any answers to it despite claiming that it is God . Their answers is simply God did it but if you ask them how God did it, they will never be able to tell you because as I said earlier, God is just their default position for I DON'T KNOW. They ONLY conjure God as an answer but in reality they have NO idea of what they are saying. Their answer is always an appeal to magic and that's where it all ends. An appeal to magic is simply saying or admitting that you do not know while claiming to know. As we all know pretending to know what you don't know is the life blood of all religions.
So christians over to you. Now tell us:
If, as Christians have argued, there is a creator God that created everything and they are in a personal relationship with him and that they also communicate with him, then these questions should be answered very clearly:
How exactly did God create two separate genders, each with its own physiology?
Why did God chose sex?
Did God create sex by accident or did he intelligently create it? What mechanism did he use to create sex?
Modified:
How did God create female members of a species that produces eggs and is internally equipped to nourish a growing embryo, while at the same time evolving a male member that produces motile sperm cells? How did God do all these things?
And, further, how is it that these gametes (eggs and sperm) were conveniently created that they each contain half the normal chromosome number of somatic (body) cells? How did God create the cells? What did he use to create the cells and how did he go about it?
The christians should provide all the answers to these questions. This should be very easy since they claim to be in a personal relationship with God and they also communicate with him. They should simply ask him and let him provide them with the answers.
To the atheist in the house just sit back and watch. NONE of them will be able to provide any answers. God to them is just their default position for I DON'T KNOW.
Cc: danvon, iamwhat, mohemos, butterflyl1on . After avoiding simple questions you turn the questions back to us, I believe in supernatural I believe in magic therefore I cannot explain it but you who claims to know everything your supposed to be filled with wisdom and enlightenment how were we created, you don't know? Now your dropping to the unenlightened, your the science experts, it's like asking your teacher a question and then he twist it and ask you back, if you believe in science and you believe in logic and you believe there is no God, then please explain to us how we came into existence.. like someone once asked, so Absence of evidence is evidence of absence? |

Jesus said "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets." Matthew:7:12 I can easily vouch with this against slavery because I won't like to be a slave myself
"But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve." Luke:22:26 Jesus is saying the greatest are made to serve not the other way round, anyone who considers himself great should help others Wealthy people should help the poor, Strong should help the weak.. this is also against slavery
But let see your reasons why slavery is evil just try@Op |

You didn't answer any of my questions okay maybe I should rephrase Which God are you worshipping? Who told you slavery is evil and why? Do you want Christians to start supporting slavery? joseph1013: CREATIONIST, FIND YOUR OWN EVIDENCE!
Danvon is urging us to allow schools to teach the Bible. That way, I assume he intends that we teach kids the creation story, since he obviously believes that evolution is perfectly unscientific. He insists there is nothing wrong with teaching and promoting Christianity in school.
I'm quite curious about his response to hopefulLandlord. S/he provides danvon with a link to check out what evolution is about, but instead of setting down to get educated about natural selection, he instead impatiently tries to pick holes in the theory.
Why do creationists do this? Why is it that they never present evidence to support their own creationist hypothesis? Because they have none. So they are left with the futile strategy of picking holes in evolutionary theory using half-truths, distortions and lies.
They miss the rather obvious fact that, even if evolution were proven false, their own Biblical theory would not be advanced a single inch.
Creationism needs to find its own evidence and, until it does, it will continue to be seen as a pitiful attempt by believers in superstition and magic to salvage some credibility where none is deserved. I did no argument or twisting I asked a question instead of him to give a good reply he provides a link that goes to the quote "If you can't simply explain it you don't understand it well enough"of course I'll find holes there, If Christinity is a myth no problem Harry Potter is also a myth why not teach Christian fiction stories.Even stories like the tortoise and the lion pure fiction has that stopped people from reading it, does that mean it has no value or moral lessons?...You actually mentioned superstition and magic hmmm ..do you know the definition of superstition?.... I won't argue though for someone who spent 2years ranting about a God that doesn't exist won't expect you to understand logic and reasoning |
