Hello guys, the idea behind "Meeting and Greeting" is for us to "cap" or "finish" the year together with merriment and banters. If 20th December was no longer feasible, there are still 11 other days in December before the year ends. In my little understanding, the "meet and greet" is actually an "end-of-the-year" get-together for thread members and fans. Why would we be having a "meet and greet" in January, three weeks into the new year? And on a Thursday too? How about those of us that will be at work? How about drivers that would be on the road trying to meet their targets? Do we honestly think a driver under rental will be able to spare 2 hours for food and banter on a Thursday afternoon in January (winter month)? And are we thinking about the restaurant? I know Aunty RadAutoWorks is nice, but I'm sure she wouldn't be pleased with the potential disruption to her business when 30 or so Uber drivers and fans show between 12:00 pm and 5:00 pm on a Thursday afternoon, merrying, bantering and drinking alcohol.

I would suggest we chose another date in December. Aunty RadAutoWorks has graciously granted us the use of her restaurant, so Sunday, 27th December is another good date. This is surge season for e-hailing drivers. Any driver will find it easy to unwind for an hour or two and then hit the roads back, confident that he will still exceed his target for the day.

My 2 kobo sha. I post in peace.
In addition to this my brothers, some of us still have our 9-6 work and ehailing is only one or two trip b4 resumption and 3 or 4 trip after close of work. We are many on this fence. Please, consider us, thursday will not be ideal.

Use simultaneous equation to evaluate how 10k weekly rent during the partial lifting of the lockdown is equals to help as against initial 25k pro-covid-19. Then use Pythagoras theory to find "lack of respect with 700yrs as duration. Find boss (x).
Finalize by using Taylor's series and elimination method to evaluate profit margin made by rentee within 2weeks of 10k weekly rental with high consumption rate in pms for daily operations.

Remark: question carried 30marks (1yr free servicing with 20w30 mobile oil).
Bros

LOL, Bros, 10k rent pre covid, during covid, post covid is just like throwing the car "away". Na help the young man help you, or maybe you were able to sweet talk him. You still took the car out of Lagos within that period i guess? To come back and remit 10k? Like i said earlier, nothing STOPS you LEGALLY from taking the car out of lagos, hence , the questions you asked him after he helped you released the car from the officers on the highway.
Did you divide 10k by 7 day? Dru has a choice, he could have parked the car at home and he will be fine, even if the lockdown lasted 1 year, but what about you? Be humble and allow God lift you up!

You must have been offended, hence, this response.

Bros, in all honesty, all what you put up there about that oil 20W50 in your booth is nothing but an ASSUMPTION!

Your case will not last more than two adjournment, in any court, anywhere sir. Stop assuming things.

You could, atleast check for sludge to verify your ASSUMPTION. Yet you did not. You will rather prefer to ASSUME!

Some of us keep things that we don't even need or ever use. I am not advocating for felicity, infact, i believe "him own too much".

Stop complaining about an empty keg in your booth, it's meaningless. That keg might be there for countless reason, and in fact, it could be that he's using that oil in your civic, just the way you believe, but its an ASSUMPTION, the most foolish way of making conclusion. You did not nail this one sir! Move on!

Driving your car out of Lagos, legally, he has not breached your contract, maybe morally he did! And when it comes to making ends meet in this part of the world, it's been a while i see anyone living on those morals anymore. Again on this one, pls move on!

I think you did not see felicity as a partner, you see yourself, as his helper. Yes you helped him, i have never seen anyone renting out his car for 10k, quite CHEAP. And i think felicity lack respect for you, as his partner, or perhaps, his boss. Both of you should park well!

Angry corrolla customer, I know how you feel, over 300k in this Buhari era is a lot of money, but I plead with you, pls be explicit and FOCUS in ANY biz dealings...You're too focus on " how gazzuz behave" than him getting the job done. You kept whining about him being too arrogant, proud etc, is that why you went to his shop? Guyman FOCUS on the goal, and the goal here is to get WORKING ENGINE in your car..How he behave is not your biz sir.

Chief Gazzuzz, there is no doubt that the engine you SOLD to him failed, or let's say it did not meet his expectation, I will even add, that it did not meet the expectation of those of us who have patronise you in the past, and will still do in future. The reason, I don't know, but at least I know that brand new engine can FAIL...For someone who knows one or two things about buying part (not mechanical though), this things aren't impossible. But please, I beg you, can you at least CHECK the car and at least know why the engine fails, the result might even be an eye opener for you, in terms of the people you purchased it from, in terms of the engines itself, we all learn everyday. If the client has done something that made the engine fails, that will be revealing also...But pls, check it, it seems the op has an understanding wife, as she was able to convince you to work on the car after you stop initially, pls for her and many of us here, kindly at least check the car out. Thank you.

Please i need everyone's opinion on this issue; a friend brought it to me and i need your help please.

A friend of mine is on HP, 2007 Corolla for 2.5 million naira for 2 years. Car was naija used, but very clean, just about 4 month registered.

14 month gone and he has paid about 1.3 million; he had an accident two month ago with the car.

Fortunately, the car was comprehensively insured by the driver (Please note that it was a 3rd party that was done by owner) but the driver insisted that comprehensive is best for HP, so the driver used his own personal money to fully insure the vehicle. All repairs was done by insurance, car was even painted.

It took insurance 7 weeks to repair the vehicle, but immediately the car was fixed, the owner just seized it that he's no longer interested in HP, and that the driver should pay 1 million and take the car; because he will be travelling soon. My guy is totally confused, he cant raised such amount and car is still with owner. My friend is afraid owner might sell and japa, since he wants to travel out of the country. Please, i need your advice, not just from the point of driver, also from owner's perspective. Please help!
Thank you everyone, for the advice and offer.

I have presented all advice and the offer to the driver, and also introduce him to this thread.

He will be meeting his partner tomorrow (partner call for a meeting).

I ask him to let partner present his solution first before ACTING ON " our advice and offer".

Thank you once again.

So we still have people who knows and like good things like me... The last time I bought a car perfume of 2k many criticised me saying I lack good savings skills and will hardly prosper in life... Can you imagine?... Poverty has eaten deep into d minds of many. The g.o.a.t even advised me to use the N200 aboki perfume he uses... Inside life... When people can fit into your shoes they instead wish you downgrade to their poor low life. God forbid!

Greatness is in the mind. Its how you see and place yourself you will become in life.

Just about 3weeks ago I went shopping for some clothing, bought some nice suits and pant trousers, I wore one of the suits to work after Sunday service and all of my riders rated me 5stars without asking.

I read how a lot are emaciating like small letter "i" simply because they have decided to be selfish and wicked to their own stomach by eating junks like gala and coke, very soon they'll be diagnosed of diabetics. Make una eat Jamiacan Rice from radautoworks you say no (its just 3k), ok I offered to buy for them only 2persons mailed me and got their meal, heaven no fell. Eating healthy and eating well doesn't make one poor rather rich. Health is Wealth.

To you that has been eating gala, N100 meatpile prepared with rat meat and sold by those obalende Ghana boys and you that is using N200 aboki perfume, watching your car by yourself after driving for almost 18hrs daily, have you build a house? How many cars do you have on rental?

To that federal g.o.a.t that claims to be a millionaire catfish grower and still drive on Bolt coming from Anambra, who do you think you're deceiving? Fish farm requires more time than any other livestock farming the earlier you go back to your village and take care of your fish the better for you, else your supposed workers will feed your fish with gamanin while you're here trying to move Lagos to Anambra.

Nonsensical nonsense!!!

Drivers always get MAD when they see others posting or showing their dashboard. They always claim what they posted is their gross and not Net, yes we know that but to be honest, you guys made some of believe that is not the only reason . There is something you don't want others to know about this hussle, there is something you want to keep HIDING. If it's about GROSS and NET, it shouldn't be a big deal, if you know the net just do the calculation and give us the net whenever you see dashboard. The shop was not budgeted for and i have spent about 400k doing the roofing and ceiling, gate, and some other touches on the shop, so it was a little set back (money wise), but i love it. I want to write a review of my car buying experience with Amdman.
I started following this thread since May last year, and when i was ready early this year i decided to take the risk by contacting Amdman.I told him my choice of car and he found one for me. After test driving, he assured me it was a good buy.I made part payment, and the car got to the shipper 7th February. The car left Canada 14th of March, got to Nigeria 15th April. Between this time, i had already completed my payment, and anxiety was building due to the ravaging pandemic causing delays, anyways i was also tracking the vessel, but the point is ,i was thinking Amdman might ask that i add more cash due to the fluctuating exchange rate, but he did not.
finally after about two to three weeks the car came was cleared.
My observations:
His cars are affordable.
The car i bought is as clean as he said.
the engine is in top condition.
Only issue i noticed when bringing the car back was the AC wasn't blowing very well, but i just changed the resistor and its fine, the dashboard lights too weren't working,i had to replace the bulbs, also one of the fog lights was broken ,which has been replaced. I actually wanted to wait till i have done a thorough wash of the interior and love-vendor it before writing this review, but i just decided to go ahead.
So my assessment of Amdman:
He is a sincere man ,a man of integrity, he is truly rare.
He is straight forward in his dealings,if we had more of him in Nigeria,i think things might be a bit better.
On communication ,i would say i had a bit of a challenge there, because i noticed most times when i drop chats ,it doesn't indicate that he has read them, so what i did was ,anytime i noticed him online,i call him on video or audio, and my messages drop immediately, and he responds to any inquiry i make,no matter how silly it might be.
so on my personal scale of 100%, i would score Amdman 90%
Thank you Amdman for getting me my first car,I am satisfied and happy.
God bless you.
i forgot to add, the car came with 4 extra tires on alloy wheels, complete accessories in the boot, car manual, spare key.
Never had any issues with the customs on the way too, only normal sorting.
One of the best review have read here..Do you know why i love this review? The guy observed what could have been an issue (communication gap), instead of whinning about it, he searched for solution and he found one! He did not open a thread to complain about dealer not picking his calls or reading his chat. He did not allow issues to escalate, he quickly looked for how to fix the prob, and he got it fixed! Congrat sir.

Madam radu, from the Uber thread. Pls, I was with a company I had relationship with earlier today and I notice, from conversation that they need a company like yours, that will help in maintaining their vehicles. Right now they use metropolitan but I think they want another. Immediately I remember you and I directed them to you, I quickly Google radautoworks and I got this number= 08034197461. I gave it to them, they also said one of their drivers will check you out, I gave your address also. They're in V. I, with about 50 vehicles or thereabouts, Mostly Toyota.. Pls, is the phone number right?
