FashionRe: Women: Nigerian Men Lack Dress Sense by daprince: 1:53am On Aug 22, 2007
I ain't mad at nobody, but I was only becoming a lil' bit concerned with the tone this discussion was taking. If we are to criticize, let it be constructive rather than personal.

aloib:
oya lets get serious
daprince come back and tell us bout your dress sense,
who has seen guys wearing moccasin on native, i no fit klaf mehn
I dress simple and easy, I got just one African dress that I wear once in a while. But generally, I wear jeans and dress like every other student out there. And by the way, I ain't flashy at all.

So Aloib, whatz your style apart from the sunglasses?
FashionRe: Women: Nigerian Men Lack Dress Sense by daprince: 1:36am On Aug 22, 2007
This is getting too personal and bullish. Anyway, y'all have fun.

Aloib, nice talking to you on a public forum.

Doyin, nice rant about the cheesy line stuff.

Et all, bye.

I thought this was supposed to be about how people dress and not getting all personal and crap.
FashionRe: Women: Nigerian Men Lack Dress Sense by daprince: 1:12am On Aug 22, 2007

FashionRe: Women: Nigerian Men Lack Dress Sense by daprince: 10:54pm On Aug 21, 2007
@ TOH,
I agree with you, but with the way you are bashing them naija dudes, might I ask if you've ever dated a naija dude and if you were satisfied with his dress sense.
FashionRe: Women: Nigerian Men Lack Dress Sense by daprince: 10:27pm On Aug 21, 2007
I think it's just the stupid ones that ain't got good dress sense!

Enitan, I sooooo loved the pic on your profile that I copied it and posted it on my facebook (hope you ain't mad at me?). It's a really cool pic of many ladies' brains. Nice one dude, and I hope the lady you are so much into is an ounce that much into you too.
Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: Which Nairaland Members Would You Prefer To Date? by daprince: 3:29pm On Aug 21, 2007
Easy and Sandy, are you guys for real or just bitch-slapping?

Seun, why do you just want to have fun without getting serious with any of your nairaland subjects?
RomanceRe: My Boyfriend Still Has Feelings For His Ex by daprince: 10:12pm On Aug 17, 2007
@ TOH,
You hate us? Na wa ooooooo, abi you want make I change my mind? LOL. Just kidding
RomanceRe: My Boyfriend Still Has Feelings For His Ex by daprince: 8:27pm On Aug 17, 2007
That the dude confessed to having feelings for an ex makes him honest? How do you guys reason? If he truly was honest, he would've told Uyai about the other girl right from the get-go.

@ PTH, with all due respect, don't call people immature cuz that's just plain disrespectful. That people's opinions differ from yours doesn't give you a leverage over them. You give the impression of a know-it-all. Just speaking my mind dude, no insults intended.

Uyai, the onus is on you. No matter what anyone and everyone says on here, the final decision is still on you. I believe you both are in a rebound relationship, just trying to keep each other company in order to get over your exes. You shouldn't keep waiting on some dude who isn't into you. I believe he just told you that he was confused about his feelings just to make you feel good. I'm no relationship expert, but I believe the best option for you is to get yourself together and move on. This dude is in med school, agreed that he's busy (I'm just a f**cking pre-med and I'm mostly busy), but him ignoring you and having the time to talk to an old flame should give you every clue that you need. You said it yourself that you ain't got any feelings for him, why not just move on and get your life going? I guess you are in college, just focus and do your thing girl!

Nairaland GeneralRe: I wonder what Nairalanders look like. by daprince: 8:44pm On Aug 16, 2007
I thought this was supposed to be a forum where people share ideas and not for beauty contests? Dude (whoever started this topic), if u wanna see the ladies photos, all u gotta do is holla and ask 'em to show u their photos rather than think people who don't post their photos on here feel insecure about themselves.
BTW, congratulations on your graduation from law school; the ladies must be drooling for u now, grin tongue. How many cases you don argue so far? Make you take am easy oooooooooo.

What better photo could I have had than the one that I got on my profile?
FamilyRe: Disciplining Children by daprince: 7:09pm On Aug 15, 2007
For those who don't agree with smacking or spanking a child, I guess most of u "ground" your kids when they err. My question to you is, does ur man/woman ground you when you make mistakes or do dumb things (someone compared intimate relationships to father-son relationship; I thought that was dumb)? I think adult-adult relationships are more rational than adult-child relationships for the simple fact that the adult is in most cases responsible for how the child turns out in the society, while either adult is responsible for himself/herself. That people spank their kids shouldn't be seen as child-abuse, I believe it's way better than the stupid correctional facilities they got for juveniles.
I believe in spanking, and when I do have kids I'm gonna spank them with love cuz that's the best way to impact discipline. I don't believe in unnecessary spanking, but when the kid is allowed to know why they're being whipped, they learn better and respect the disciplinarian.
SportsRe: Barry Bonds Is The New Home Run King! by daprince(op): 4:00am On Aug 10, 2007
Personally, I consider Bonds the greatest hitter ever. It is an open secret that steroids are the bane of baseball, but the media saying Bonds' HR record is hollow rather than hallowed is just plain mischief by the white dominated media. Agreed that a black dude held the record before Bonds, I still think this is a milestone achievement in our era. There are tons of players who have taken steroids, but how many of them have been able to hit as much HRs as Bonds? The dude got skills and better mental ability than physical. I believe Bonds is innocent no matter what anyone says cuz he never tested positive to steroids!! Babe Ruth had his time, Hank "The Hammer" Aaron had his, let us all now duff our hats for the new KING, Barry Bonds. Let people quit hating please.

FamilyRe: Is It Possible Today, That A Married Man Would Not Cheat On His Wife? by daprince: 10:38pm On Aug 06, 2007
I believe there are faithful men out there no matter how philandrous they were as single men. Personally, I wouldn't cheat on my wife. That is one promise I've made to myself, rather kill mtself than do it. I believe men who cheat on their wives lack dignity and self-respect. How would I face my kids after screwing some other girl out there? What's my wife gonna think of me? Anyway, a man who cheats on his wife doesn't value his marriage and the lives of his kids. Period!

@daprince

I really tried, but the level of ignorance and shallowness you display on this forum, it just stabs my heart and I can't help but to intervene.

By the way, the next time measures are taken to ban us from Nairaland, we too will use resources available to ban Nairaland from the internet.
Ur supposed intervention is biased and lacks genuine and guided knowledge. From what I've seen in most of ur posts, u mostly just wanna be heard. U don't wanna agree that ur supposed source of information is somewhat faulty, and when people tried explaining the actual situation of things, u went beserk and claimed to know it all.
However, no matter how dampen or misguided one's ideas or beliefs are, I think Seun shouldn't just go ahead and start banning people, it just brings out the "Obasanjoness" in him.

BTW, how is ur yahoo yahoo business going? LOL. Are u getting the Americans that u so much hate? All these naija guys sef, when their biz no gree enter again, dem go begin hate the Americans.

Just wondering, with this statement,
denex:
So I'll answer TayoD's question which you tried to prevent me from answering in order to make me seem dumb. I will answer the question and then cease all further posting. I'll only be coming in here to see people wallow in your opinions and see how you're handling you new found position as God.
what are u still doing here contributing? Just wondering please.

Babyosisi, do u chat? If u do, I'm gonna hit u just to chat for a lil' bit.
Foreign AffairsRe: 9 Killed, 60 Injured Yesterday In US Bridge Collapse by daprince: 6:49pm On Aug 03, 2007
Wow, nice to know that u live in Brooklyn Park. Nice place. Babyosisi, it would be nice to have u in Minnehaha (never been there, but would love to). BTW Babyosisi, what part of the US do u live?

Carl, I don't think there were Nigerians involved (at least none has been identified yet among the Naija community in MN)
Foreign AffairsRe: 9 Killed, 60 Injured Yesterday In US Bridge Collapse by daprince: 6:21pm On Aug 03, 2007
It's unfortunate that people just blab without caution. I'm Nigerian and I could have been driving on that same bridge that day (my friend was fortunate to have missed that incident just 20 minutes before it occurred). I believe most people here who are saying crap are just being jealous.

Tayo, what part of Minneapolis do u live?
