wonlasewonimi: Are you having a laugh? That is why you buy low mileage lexus and sell on value is one of most reasonable ones especially the RX range. By next year, your nismo should be around 5k Actually still has a trade in value of 8k to 9k going 2 yrs, not bad |

LuvlyIva: Hello house I was just discussing with a friend, she told me that my country is better than UK. She said I should not border to come to UK, that the country is hard. I told her my wife is in UK, she advice I can be visiting her. Please house I need help o for those of you that live in the UK. What are the advantages and disadvantages. Those of you that left Nigeria to UK, is UK better than Nigeria? What were the experience, Am I better off in Nigeria than UK? I am working presently and earning up to 200k, with medical, leave allowance of 200k and 13th month. (Can I get all these benefits in the UK?) My wife also keep complaining that UK is difficult. I am confused. I was just contemplating telling her to come bk and get a health care job . I need advice please my bros and sisters on how you guys were able to make it in the UK. What are the advantages of me staying in the UK. I studied Germany language, what can I start to do to get a good job. How can u guys convince me that UK is better. Thank you its a different kind of hustle. its generally better, but Nigeria has some appeal and benefit. but uk is better. it can be hard. its hardwork. Benefits come after a while. no easy wins |

sassysure: Ok.
But there are more subtle ways to make his points known than those first two statements. It can rile anybody up. Thank u There is someone who will read that comment and see as an opportunity. I have many colleagues who's halves, both male and female have taken up low skill jobs like HCA or Care jobs to hold body. Let's not make a mole hill out of nothing... I never said anyone was nobody and you don't know me, my job. I'm not an elite, and I have family from localities in Nigeria who are hustling. I am not in the business of belittling anybody. Frankly I find those comments about me being insensitive hurtful. Making out time to comment and somebody saying I'm rude, or whatever. I don't have to comment. So take that into consideration too. I didn't belittle anybody and like I said a HCA in my job before is one of my bosses now... So, interpret that in a positive light |

sassysure: U are very very insensitive! Gosh. Where do people like this resurrect from? Don't be so dramatic I think you guys are misreading my comments... Obviously every job is important and I recognise some people do these jobs here. I was speaking in relative terms ie... Shortage occupation. If you read my comment properly and what I was replying to. Of course all jobs are important. My point is as to why you are unlikely to find a HCA on a tier 2 visa, because it is not a shortage occupation. And this is because of the minimal requirements needed to work as a HCA vs say being a Doctor or I. T. Also, the educational requirements needed. And experience needed. Read that as you may, no undergraduate can get a job as a medical doctor without going to school. Do you get my interpretation now? |

Monmarri: HCA job is not anything special If it is not special then why are hospital recruiting them? I am not HCA but, the way u guys look down on their job is very wrong. marylandcakes: The cleaner and hospital porters job is special. If there was no one to clean the wards I sure it will be closed down or to move the patient from one part of the hospital to another. Just like the baggage handlers at the airport if they go on strike flights will be cancelled. Everybody’s job is as important as the next. If the shop workers go on strike where would you buy your groceries. All these individual jobs are what keeps the Nation moving. I think you guys are misreading my comments... Bourne007: What makes them unqualified? Like time I checked, they all fall under the department of health and social care na HCA job is not anything special. It's like auxilliary nurse. Even students or undergraduates can get a job as HCA, so there's no need to bring people from abroad on visa yet. However, a HCA can be your boss tomorrow, as they are usually doing it as an interim post while thngs get batter. A HCA in my previous hospital is a rota coordinator in my Trust now. And iknew a prospective medical student who was doing HCA to save money for medical school |

Will it be possible for canada papers to be processed in the UK since my bro is presently in the UK with a standard visitor visa I don't know , sorry, but just from my experience, with difficulty getting a job, driver's license etc...And loosing work skills while being undocumented...IS it really worth it...anybody planning to do it?! esp when well off enough to leave Nigeria. fineyemi: Is it possible for some1 presently in the UK with a visit visa to migrate to Canada. The life of an undocumented is hard and selfish. You put a strain on your future family if u are single...and i really wonder if its worth it. I get circumstances vary and people are sometimes forced down this path. But just don't go in willingly....its very hard and you might put yourself at the mercy of opportunists and unnecessary stress |

spacyzuma: As someone who just did first car insurance a few weeks ago, here are my tips:
- You need to spend some time with comparison websites. Go Compare, Compare the Market, uSwitch, Money Supermarket. here's a lot of info about yourself and the car that you'll need to input in each to get a list of different quotes.
- Some of these sites will make you spend a long time putting in details, and then they'll ask you to input your name, address, email, phone number to get the quotes. If you can put in fake details, do so.
- If you have already bought the car, or know the car you want to buy, get as much detail about it. exact car model, Reg No, mileage, Insurance group, security features, etc. The more info you have, and the more accurate the info is...the better your quotes will be.
- Some car insurance companies (like Aviva) don't appear on these comparison sites. You'll have to visit their own sites to get quotes.
- As a first time buyer, just prepare your mind for at least £1000. The quotes you get can vary from £750 to £2500. I got quotes of £2k+ with aviva
I got a good deal with Admiral BlackBox car insurance. It required me to attach a small device to my car which they use to monitor my driving. They sent the box within 5 days but you can start driving as soon as you buy the insurance and get the email. The deal cost £880 (if I paid one time) or a total of about £950 (if I paid monthly).
Cheers. Beware of admiral and blackbox....esp if you quote like 2,000 miles per annum and you end up using over 10k/ annum....the premium will be automatically charged and automatically estimated.....so they might still charge you up to 1,000£ over the next 12 months....thats what happened to me, but me i am a doctor and i did about 14k miles after initially getting a cheap quote with2,000miles....so food for thought |

There are many videos on youtube. You can watch them to boost your confidence on the road and also learn from what the instructors say, maybe there's something you are doing wrong.....Also, i dunno about 10months insurance, you don't get a 1year No claims bonus, so it's probably their way of preventing you from going to other customers. Personally, i hate admiral and their stupid black box. Hope you don't do many miles or they will increase ur premium Pay as you go nd nothing you can do about it...In future, avoid black box....and if you can still cancel, i think you have up to 14days.....Go to Aviva direct and check their own cost too, They even do monthly-interest free premiums. Driving test....hardest thing. All the best on the next one |
