This is one of my all time favourite cars since when I was in naija seff. Silent engine, I mean you can sit on the hood and won't know that the car is on, awesome fuel consumption. Why didn't you sell it to me bro
i'm sure you'd have thought the car had a problem.

Traded up for this bad girl

Report quite true. But bro Oshodi to Iyana ipaja has always been 150-200 unless it is costa n molue u are talking about . The construction has messed up the road, the BRT is nothing other than fostering some peoples business interest. Anybody will lives along this axis will agree that constructing the road without the BRT will favour residents around here as the BRT lanes only narrowed the road. We all know whose interest the BRT serves but we have chosen to all be slaves in Lagos
Think longterm, like 50yrs/ 100yrs. Lagos cannot continue to be myopic because of bread sellers and shops on the road....short term pain, but longterm glory. By the time they start underground train system, Lagos will finally be on the way to becoming like London and New york. That is the next step

HealthRe: How Nigeria’s 36 States Fare In HIV Prevalence by DaveChapelle: 6:31pm On Mar 20, 2019
molybdenum0012:
The reason is not far fetched. It is true that city of Lagos is an immoral city, but full of educated people. Most people in Lagos are are aware of the consequence of unprotected sex, and as such they take caution.

Another thing is there is high rate of sensitization about HIV/AIDs scourge in the city. So, the use of condom is prevalent. For this reason it turns out that the rate of HIV epidemic is low relative to some other states despite their debauchery lifestyle
I had a friend, who is a doctor who was practicing unprotected with multiple partners and 1 was even Hep B. positive, he was still engaging in unprotected. but you know what even if this said lady was HIV, i don't think any man would resist her...she was so beautiful. You know how many people sleep with their so called boyfriends and girlfriends without protection and only for them to break up in a few weeks and they do that in every subsequent relationship...The protected one is the sex workers, but mind you, they too have their boyfriends and can never keep a relationship, so please, do the maths too
HealthRe: How Nigeria’s 36 States Fare In HIV Prevalence by DaveChapelle: 6:27pm On Mar 20, 2019

How did you arrive at this assertion?
Supposing there is EXTREMELY HIGH IMMORAL STANDRDS (but a lot of safe sex is practiced), as against a location where the standads are high, but safe sex is not practiced?

This is why studies like this are carried out, and we shouldnt rely on assumptions
Because, i know many friends who engage in sexual relationships without protection in Lagos, and there is sex oozing at every nook and cranny....you should go out at night and see the night life for yourself. Am happy they practice safe sex....but its still scary

Imagine, Lagos of all places is not number one on that list?. Please. Fake imaginary list
Still amazes me that HIV is low in Lagos. There should be a study to find out why. Lagos is probably one of the most immoral cities in the world

Hello here, I got a paid internship with a company in London. The package the company is giving for accommodation is £2k for the 10 weeks, June 24 - End of August. The package comes with breakfast as well.

I was wondering if there's anyone who would be willing to take me in for the 10 weeks. I'm willing to pay if required, company is on Fleetwood.

Hope I'm not breaking any rules @justwise
are you worthy of trust?

People really need to mind their business. Every Nigerian is now a custodian of morality, except for the corrupt politicians and religious leaders who we all worship, yet 2nd standards for the common man. How is it community business if a consenting man and woman chose to pleasure themselves. Are they harming anybody?People need to check their moral compasses

Curve card is like a wallet for all your other cards.

You download the app and get sent a card.

On the app, you load all your other bank cards.

If you need to pay for stuff with like barclays card, you choose barclays from your curve wallet on the app and pay with your curve card.
The funds would be taken from your barclays account.

If you mistakenly use your HSBC instead of your barclays, curve allows you to go back in time for two weeks to change the payment card to the one you want.

You can with buy stuff online using your curve card protecting your real bank account.

You can withdraw cash from credit card without being charged cos it woukd show the credit card company you spent the money in curve. They don't have a clue about your cash withdrawal.

You can pay with credit card in places they don't accept credit cards

You can spend on your card overseas without getting bank charges.

You get rewards for using your card in selected stores
let's vet down to the root of it...what's the yearly charge? Have i seen a movie like this card before?!... 1 card to rule them all?!

Thank you very much for this advice, but it sounds quite funny . Did u toll that path, how did it go for u? Share a first hand example.

Secondly how many times is Plab1 exams taken in Naija in a year, and how many would I have to carry out this routine to come out successful.

It would be easier to seek asylum in the UK after running a master's , than to follow through with ur "fantastic" advice.

Kind regards.

you can rent a flashy jeep and go to where Nigerian doctors are writing Plab 1 . Give any of the single female doctors a lift and make a good impression. If you're lucky, you might hitch her...Is that fluid enough?

Sliced vanilla brioche aldi, sliced chocolate brioche...aldi,but not really nice...Regular brioche is in most shops....tesco and aldi, it looks like croissants. But Toasties are also nice with butter and jam, and go down easy.If you have time, Flat garlic bread and flat tomato and cheese are also good, but you need to bake as per instructions for about 8 minutes i think

It took me about 5 years before finally deciding to take a credit card in 2017. I have not paid a dime in interest and the card has been very handy. I pay it off before it is due. I am now looking to get a rewards card so I can get extra benefit from it. I must add that having a credit card has not improved or reduced my credit rating. It has been about the same all these years.

Question: is it advise to get a bank loan and invest in Nigeria? e. g treasury bills and shares.
I guess so, but me i don't trust Nigerian system. Stock exchange has crashed several times. But i guess treasury bills are okay, but i don't really understand them. I would probably look for investment locally
TravelRe: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by DaveChapelle: 2:35pm On Mar 08, 2019
i owe about 5k on credit card now, which is bad...That is my prerogative. The point is, do i have friends who could have borrowed me that 5k. There's noboday calling me every 10min asking for their money and as long as i pay a certain minimum every month. Nobody will chase me. Whether my spending has been wise or foolish as to how i find myself owing 5k is another discussion.

Can you have access to bank borrowing you 2.5 million naira and up to 7 million naira in Nigeria, just like that? That's my 2 cents on credit cards. I think they are useful for emergencies. Otherwise, you can save up for years to start enjoying what some benefit with access to credit today. Life is short

That's the thing imagine a £5000 limit on an income of £2,500. Eventually it will tempt and start piling. Business sense
I know, but i had to find a smart way to pay cheaper insurance, save fuel, avoid failing MOT, i know i did a gamble and i don't like where i am. If i get into financial distress, i'll just have to sell the car and buy another later, but i doubt it. The car is worth 10.5k if i resell. as it was fully financed on loans +loans anyway

My people let's discuss, when buying a car on finance which is better between HP and PCP. Don't think we have ever talked in details about this.

I have read so many things online and inclined to go for PCP because of the advantages of changing cars easily, and attached perks like free servicing and MOT and all with the ability to just give it back at the end of the "renting" period. However, I am wary of that subject to terms and conditions of fair wear and tear.

So anyone with experience of both should pls share.
I tried leasing, but was declined because i haven't been in the UK for upto 3yrs

Paying back every month, also means you are using your card like a debit card, and not a debt card ........... It really palys no part in credit building ..........

A report placed on your file and other lenders might not like your financial habit/decision .................
That's how i built my own credit. I never paid interest until recently
TravelRe: Living In The Uk/life As A UK Immigrant by DaveChapelle: 6:47pm On Mar 07, 2019

How ? Because of the chunk payment ?

But it's still a much better route to finance ............

What about remortgaging ?... huh
I presently owe a lot now...my bad! what i missed was that my 10k bank loan removes 320 from my net free allowance after bills and mortgage for the next 3yrs. Although this is the best way to pay the debt. However 5k credit card, i will pay up ASAP,probably 1k monthly, unlike a minus 300 for 36months. Too early for me to remortgage, just got on the housing ladder. We'll just manage for the next 6 months
