Should education be appraised on the strictness involved before the reward or the quality of the education?
So tell me, a third class in Harvard is equal to what in the above universities.??
So u think a PhD program that lasted 8years is strictness (one of my lecturers ordeal) or stupidity and mediocrity.
I hate people saying this poo. Upon the whole wahala we put ourselves now....Nigerian universities for Africa is nothing but rubbish.. You better stop this rubbish comparisons because every student has their own story to tell. A university is only better than the other by qualitative education and pragmatic approach to human problems not outright wickedness that u call strictness.
May God give some youths your kind of brain so they can understand that strictness does not define quality and name does not determine innovation nor talent which are the ultimate. I have never seen one breakthrough from these over rated universities that is solving one national question. OP please go and focus your energy on money making venture than this "useless" comparism.

I woke up this morning around 5:30 and stepped out of my room only to discover a chain of ants marching into my friend's room. Curiousity led me to give a shout out to her. To our surprise, the ants were having a party on her hard earned port of stew.
At this point I began to wonder if the recession has hit the ants and all roads leads to people's ports... ; grin

After sentencing Mr Turner for raping a lady, she said this to him: "You took away my worth, my privacy, my energy, my time, my intimacy, my confidence, my own voice, until today, The damage is done, no one can undo it. And now we both have a choice. We can let this destroy us, I can remain angry and hurt and you can be in denial, or we can face it head on, I accept the pain, you accept the punishment, and we move on.”

In any case what is so special if Senator twitter did not talk to PMB that day. Will heaven fall.
Young man read with comprehension please. Sen Sani said some of their colleques were selected to speak unbehalf of the NA. He wanted to be one of those persons but was unlucky. Not that he wanted to speak with Buhari personally as Sen Ben Bruce tried before he was stopped by the DSS.

Jonathan’s cousin: Your disrespect for orders may destroy Nigeria – Judge blasts EFCCBy Wale Odunsi on May 26, 2016@dailypostngr

A High Court of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Maitama, Abuja has lambasted the Economic and Financial. Crimes Commission (EFCC) over its continuous detention of a cousin to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Roberts Azibaola.

The EFCC had detained Roberts since March 23 this year following his arrest over his alleged involvement in the diversion of $40million meant for oil pipeline security contract awarded his firm, One-Plus Holdings.

After Azibaola filed a fundamental rights enforcement suit, Justice Olasumbo Goodluck granted an ex-parte application declaring his continued detention without trial unconstitutional.

In his ruling today, Justice Goodluck complained that the warrant she issued for the EFCC to produce the applicant in court since March had not been complied with by the commission.

The judge observed that “rather than to comply with the production order, the respondent (EFCC) wilfully and knowingly side-stepped this court’s production warrant by releasing the applicant (Azibaola Robert) to security operatives who allegedly took the applicant to Lagos on the same day and time the respondent was required to present the applicant before this court.

“As an organisation that is set-up to enforce compliance with the law, the respondent must lead by example,” the judge said.

“The conduct of the respondent is unsalutory and condemnable. It undermines the integrity of the court and portends anarchy.‎ No person being a natural or jurisdic person is greater than the court. All persons are subordinates to the rule of law.

“It is hoped that this rude conduct will never repeat itself. Let nobody pull the wool over the face of this country”, he warned.

PoliticsStrike Action: The Hypocrisy And Ignorance Of A Country by davereal(op):
It is pathetic and depressing how the current removal of fuel subsidy has explicitly proven to many "gullible" Nigerians how hypocritical some CHANGE AGENTS are. These were same folks that ranted their throats out and spent their resources mobilising jobless youths to OCCUPY NIGERIA in 2012. They looked stupid then because they knew not what they were doing.
Even Mr. President was against the Father of Democracy in Africa (GEJ) in this laudable and courageous move based on Political difference and not National Interest.
I still support the removal of fuel subsidy (deregulation of the oil downstream sector), but what is really hurting me is the fact that, our so-called national leaders (e.g Tinubu) who absolutely rejected this move under GEJ are now in full support of President Buhari. What is the difference? It wasn't good but now better? Where are the pioneers of OCCUPY NIGERIA? Where are the so-called regionalised celebrities shouting and dancing shoki in LAGOS? Where are the so-called Civil Society Organizations (Especially NLC), Where are the so-called Human Right Activists (Falana excluded).
I know some perceived educated elites will argue that the parameters have changed owing to drop in the price of crude globally, thus the necessity of removing fuel subsidy. But it is pertinent to note also that, if the price of a raw material (crude oil) decreases, the price of the finished product (PMS) should also decrease--#commonsense. Because of this, Nigerians should buy fuel at below #90 and not #145. (Fashola proselytized this same argument in 2012-google is your friend). Nevertheless, this is not my argument.

MY POINT: let's support every policy that is in the interest of the poor man irrespective of our political, regional, religious, ethnic and ideological divide. If we want real change, this is the time for us to sacrifice individually and collectivelly for the future of this generation and yet generation unborn #Isupportsubsidyremoval
