I don't support Mbu's comment. Reason bn dat our policemen are always eager to pull d trigger, such comment will only give them opportunity to shoot even the innocent ones and claim it's self defense.
Such comment shud not be taken lightly, weda Pdp or Apc or whichever party or d partyless, wen police start, them no write pdp or Apc for ur head o, na shoot on site. |

Politics › Nigerian Army Captain Who Leaked Ekiti Poll Tape Speaks: How We Were Used To Rig by David0(op): 12:44pm On Feb 07, 2015 |
A Nigerian Army Captain, who leaked the audio evidence of how some top officials of the Federal Government and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, used the Nigerian Army and other security agencies to rig the governorship election in Ekiti and Osun States last year, has spoken out about the matter. In a statement entitled: “How Nigerian Army personnel were used to rig Ekiti and Osun States Gubernatorial Elections 2014″, Captain Sagir Koli gave details of all that transpired between himself, his commanding officer, two ministers and some politicians prior to the elections in Ekiti state. He also spoke about the elaborate plans made to replicate the Ekiti scenario in Osun state last August. See the full text of his submission below: Staff In Confidence How the Nigerian Army personal were used to Rig Ekiti and Osun States Gubernatorial Elections 2014. 1. I was officially deployed as the 32, Artillery Brigade Intelligence Officer to provide credible Intelligence to the success of Ekiti State governorship election. At about 2030 hours on June 2014, a day to the election proper, the commander, Brigadier General AA Momoh told me to escort him to a place where the State Minister for Defence wanted to see him. Reaching the place (Spotless Hotel in Ado- Ekiti), which serves as coordinating campaign office for the PDP candidate Mr. Ayodele Fayose, we met the Minister himself, Minister of Police Affairs, Mr Fayose, Mr. Iyiola Omisore, one Honoruable Abdulkareem and host of other top PDP chieftains. The Outcome of what was discussed that gave the party victory during the election are as follows: A. They told brigade commander that they are on presidential assignment and they cannot afford to fail. Also, they told him that they were there to remove any obstacles that would block their victory and the commander is the key; therefore, he has no option but to collaborate with them. They said, if the commander play(ed) with them, his promotion is in their hands and the president and the chief of army Staff would be very angry with him and he knows what that means. B. They directed that soldiers on election duty must work hand in hand with the PDP agents and give them all the necessary support they needed without limitation. C. They ordered the arrest of selected APC stalwarts that could greatly assist the party during the election including the DG campaign organisation for Dr Fayemi Mr. Bimbo Daramola. APC members in Ekiti State should be interviewed of what they went through. We were forced to do a dirty job for them with a threat of court martial. D. They directed that soldiers must block APC members’ access to the electorates but all PDP supporters’ movement anywhere using a designated sticker with inscription, “National Security Task” it should be noted that some of these PDP agents were given NYSC uniforms because we were well briefed by the commander. E. Chief Chris Uba who also said he was from the presidency entered Ado- Ekiti a day to the election accompanied by 16 commissioned Army officers (Major and blow) led by Major Ujung of 82 Base Ammunitions Depot from Nigeria Army 82 Division Enugu. Their major task was to effect arrest and move secret materials and money. This money was brought from CBN Umuahia. F. Chief Chris Uba was physically present with the soldiers and the commander at Forward Operational Base (FOB) close to government house in Ado- Ekiti. He personally supervised the movement of the strike force. This act of a civilian directing military operation is highly unprofessional and tarnishing of the military discipline and regimentation. G. Chief Chris Uba entered Ado-Ekiti a day to the election accompanied by military/police escort with 2 black tinted Hilux Vans with “secret” materials according to him. Items inside the vans were 1000/500 Naria notes closed and cloned marked ballot papers. H. Chris Uba, Minster of police Affairs, Obanikoro and Co said this is just a test run that should not fail and its to be done in SS and SW states, moreover, Rivers State to make sure Rotimi Ameachi bow to the federal government. 2. Based on the aforementioned, they succeeded in rigging the Ekiti State election with victory in all the 16 LGAs. These really inspired them and they were with the euphoria that same would happen in Osun State. In preparation of the plans, they confirmed the posting of the commander and task him to prepare for Osun State election (remember that Osun State is not part of 32 Artillery Brigade Area of operations) but they ordered the Nigerian Army Construction Engineers Commander Brigadier General Adeyemi to proceed for 3 weeks compulsory leave until after the election just to pave way for General Momah to repeat the same dirty work that he has done to them in Ekiti State. 3. In build-up towards the Osun State elections, the commander directed me as his intelligence officer who has worked with him perfectly in Ekiti State to go ahead and recce the area as well as familiarize myself with all stake holders for the election. While I and my team were working for the operations, the commander was in Abuja re-strategizing how to use the military to rig the elections. Feelers based on my discussion with him on phone confirmed to me beyond reasonable doubt that we were repeating the same compromise in Osun State. My heart got burnt and become disenchanted and in total disagreement with such being professional junior officer aspiring to become a General tomorrow. 4. However efforts to explain my grievances prove abortive due to the military dictatorial hierarchy in channel of communication vis a vis threat of court martial from the commander. I resorted to alert the APC high level officials with the aim of stopping Army from partisan involvement during election. A week to the election, the commander came back from Abuja and he made revelations being their final arrangement on how the PDP was to become victorious in Osun state as follows: A. After welcome address by the commander, he thanked all his staff officers, and said “you all know who we are working for, so you guys MUST follow my direction. I am working for the presidency and the ruling party as you all know, is no longer a hidden thing” for those of you who are moles among us, the presidency is watching you, be careful because the consequence will be severe. I learnt that some of you went to Lagos and met with Tinubu without knowing that his line is already bugged at Abuja, then we are in trouble, but before somebody will kill me I have to kill him first” (referring to me). The commander asked how many of us were involved, that I should say the truth, he now held a secret talk with the operation officer and military police officer to tie and handcuff me to Army HQs, from there I know that my life was in danger. B. The commander categorically told us that the soldiers were to work under PDP agents while their platoon commanders only supervise the soldiers conduct. He briefed the officers that were working the list of agents and those to be arrested at the SGF office in Abuja and once the list is out everybody must work with accordingly. C. The commander briefed us on the formation of a strike-force in conjunction with police, DSS and NSCDC and he would command the strike force directly. Their duty was to work directly with the PDP aspirant for arrest and intimidation of APC supporters in their strong hold. D. Money was shared openly at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp Ede to the strike force to ensure compliance. 5. Having said all of the above, I must state before concluding that: A, My brother Adamu Koli a 15yrs old school boy was under detention since on the 2nd August 2014. The boy stays with me at 32 Artillery Brigade Akure. B. Brigadier General AM Dikko who they consulted initially for the scam insisted that the army must remain professional and apolitical, was disgracefully removed from his command which he served only for 7 months just to allow General Momoh to carry out the dirty work. 6. Last but not the least, to further substantiate my submission and how my dear-loving, hard-achieving noble calling was de-professionalized; here is the recorded voices of the Ministers, the aspirant and the Brigade Commander. Other officers present at the hotel were Major Aliyu and captain Adegoke who were also part of the officers that escorted commander to the venue where the compromise was made. Also conversation between the commander and Abuja could be traced via MTN, GLO, on the under listed phone numbers (between 20-21 June 2014). A. 08037033694 B. 08055832835 7,Lastly, in order to strengthen the unity and continue existence of Nigeria, I call on the federal Government to desist from using the military for partisan politics. This is to avoid the military from being divided along ethnic and regional lines which is dangerous to the defence of the nation. I remain a patriotic Nigerian and a loyal professional Army officer, God bless you all Thank you for listening. Captain Sagir Koli http://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/176384-nigerian-army-captain-who-leaked-ekiti-poll-tape-speaks-how-we-were-used-to-rig-elections.html

Politics › Buhari’s Certificate: How Fani-kayode “forged” My Friend’s Email by David0(op): 8:23pm On Jan 26, 2015 |
I was on my way to work on the morning of Monday, January 26, when my friend, Sodiq Alabi, sent me a Facebook message asking me how to contact THISDAY newspapers since I am more familiar with newspaper houses as a regular contributor to issues in national dailies.
Sodiq included in the message a web link to an article in THISDAY newspaper with the title, “Cambridge University: Hausa Language Not Offered in 1961 Exams”. I opened the article to see these lines:
“The controversy over the secondary school results of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, General Muhammadu Buhari, continues as the University of Cambridge has said that Hausa Language, which is one of the subjects listed by Buhari, was not offered in its examinations in 1961.
“The disclosure was contained in a statement from the office of the Director of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation claiming it came through an e-mail dated Thursday, January 22, 2015 from the institution’s Archives Delivery Service Officer, Jacky Emerson, to one SODIQ ALABI who requested for confirmation if the examination body offered Hausa Language in the 1961 West African Certificate Examination it organised.
“Emerson, in his one-sentence reply, said: “According to the Regulations for 1961, African Language papers, including those for Hausa, WERE NOT included for West African School Certificate.”
“This development may have further cast doubts on the certificate which is purported to be General Buhari’s. He is yet to react to the assertion by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential Campaign Organisation that the document (the published certificate) was forged and illegally procured.” (Capitalizations mine)
Sodiq was shocked such falsehood was attributed to him by Mr. Femi Fani-Kayode and wanted to contact the Editor of THISDAY for such wicked misrepresentation. Sodiq Alabi (sodiqalabi@hotmail.com) had written an email to Cambridge Assessment, the brand name of University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicates, on January 22, 2015, 13.31 hours, to confirm whether Hausa was truly offered by it in 1961 examinations. By 4.10pm same day, Jacky Emerson (archives@cambridgeassessment.org.uk), Archive Services Delivery officer of Cambridge Assessment, replied thus: “Dear Sodiq Alabi, According to the Regulations of 1961, African Language papers, WERE SET for West Africa School Certificate.”
A screenshot of this email exchange was shared with us on Facebook by Sodiq and it went viral on the internet. The email triggered other Nigerians to send emails to Cambridge Assessment for independent confirmation and the school came out with a release on its website the next day. In the release titled, “Statement in response to Nigerian Presidential election enquiries”, the school stated, “The organisation also confirmed that according to the Regulations for 1961, African Language papers, including those for Hausa WERE SET for the West African School Certificate.” Here is the link to the Cambridge Assessment website where this confirmation was published: http://cambridgeassessment.org.uk/news/statement-in-response-to-nigerian-presidential-election-enquiries/.
It is however surprising that Femi Fani-Kayode went ahead to alter the content of Sodiq’s email in his press statement to, “According to the Regulations for 1961, African Language papers, including those for Hausa, WERE NOT included for West African School Certificate.”, and still quoted the email as the source.
It is very unfortunate that this is the man speaking for the President’s re-election campaign. How do we believe every other “fact” he has quoted has not been altered as well? It is a shame.
It is also very unfortunate that our newspapers have gone to sleep and investigative journalism is at its lowest ebb in Nigeria. How will Femi Fani-Kayode not be feeding newspaper reporters with lies when he knows how lazy some of our journalists have become? This is not an advertorial that does not require independent confirmation. All THISDAY and Daily Post that reported this Fani-Kayode’s glaring lie needed to do is to seek out Sodiq or confirm from Cambridge – which had posted a confirmation statement on conduct of Hausa language in 1961 WASC on its website since January 23, two days before Fani-Kayode came up with this lie – and ask for their side of the story.
It is particularly curious that I had, in an earlier article sent to THISDAY, which was published in its January 25 edition, attached a screenshot of the email from Sodiq to buttress some other arguments, so THISDAY editors, at least their OP-ED editor, could not have claimed not to have seen the original content of Sodiq’s email before Fani-Kayode’s alteration.
This is not the first time President Jonathan’s men are forging or altering documents to demonize anyone perceived as the President’s “enemy”. His New Media Assistant, Reno Omokri, was also busted in February last year, when he hid under a pseudonym, Wendel Simlin, to send false but damaging reports to newspapers to demonize the then just suspended Governor Lamido Sanusi of Central Bank. A dig into the source of the computer used in typing the document showed it was a certain Reno Omokri that authored it!

One question for you, Which record label was Kswitch signed to after the breakup? I wasn't thr wen it happened, but D’banj himself said so in the interview about his Bro taking sides with them. If the Bro decides to sign up wt another record label I don't care, I don't even listen to his songs. My comment was simply based on D’banj's interview. Christianity Etc › Shock As Nun Rushed To Hospital With Stomach Pains Gives Birth To Baby Boy by David0(op): 11:02am On Jan 24, 2015 |
A nun has stunned her mother superior and sisters after giving birth to a baby boy after complaining of severe stomach pains. The sister, who belonged to an order in Macerata, in the eastern Italian region of Le Marche, claimed to have no idea she was pregnant when she was rushed to hospital in agony, after which she gave birth.
The 31-year-old nun said she had no idea that she was pregnant and thought her labour pains were just "stomach cramps".An ambulance was called after the pregnant nun collapsed in the nunnery.
Local media refused to name the nun, who is currently recovering in Bartolomeo Eustachio Hospital in San Severino with her sisters reportedly at her bedside. The newborn baby boy is in good health but will stay in hospital for medical checks.
The mother's convent has yet to issue a statement but reports suggest the sisters have shown interest in taking charge of the baby, L'Unione Sarda reported.
The case bears a striking similarity to that of a 33-year-old Salvadorean nun in Italy, who gave birth to a baby boy last year, whom she named after Pope Francis.
She told her social worker she did not feel guilty and would raise the child saying: 'I am so happy. 'He is a gift from God. I feel more of a mother than a nun.'

As the day of the 2015 presidential election draws close, the political system gets hotter. Here’s another banger that Obasanjo dropped today. Read on…
OBJ speaks about Buhari`s certificate issue. Goodluck Jonathan did not even finish his PhD course.
The truth of the matter is that Jonathan is aware that Buhari is qualified to contest for President Election but some hawks with Jonathan, do not want him to contest because they believed that he will win and come for them.
The issue came up in 2007, and we investigated and found out that his WASEC is with the military and that was why he was allowed to contest in 2007. Buhari cannot listen to anyone about his certificates because as a General of Nigeria Army, he will speak when he chooses not by Femi Fani Kayode and Okupe asking him.
Fayose and other corrupt people including Kashamu do not want Buhari because of his anti-corruption slogan. Even Jonathan did not finish his PhD course but when it was presented we stated that, it does not matter but many people do not know because it was PDP thing. I see Buhari as the next President and Jonathan is aware of that, and that is the reason they are hitting him everywhere to put confusion in his camp. But a General is always a General….”

This story is so false, this is pdp in making. Don't be surprise when d names of the people mentioned, come out to deny ever making such comment. When u read carefully, u ll notice a similar write up wt those of PDP regular propaganda. Even the source na PDP fan. |
Politics › Fayose: No Apology Over Death-wish Advert Of Buhari by David0(op): 11:06am On Jan 21, 2015 |
Ekiti State Governor, Mr Peter Ayodele Fayose have reacted to certain negative comments that trailed the advertorial he caused to be published on the front pages of Punch and Sun newspapers of last Monday, saying that he has no apology over the advertorial as it contained facts. Fayose who stated this through his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Idowu Adelusi in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday said that the truth can never be covered indefinitely, insisting that the All Progressive Congress (APC) Presidential Candidate, General Buhari was too old and sick to be president of this country.
The Governor said that the advertorial was his personal opinion as citizen of this country and not opinion of the PDP and I stand by it. The Governor asserted, ” I wish to refer to the late President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua who former President Olusegun Obasanjo claimed was hale and hearty to lead this country and subsequently took ill and died. “I must assure all those who have expressed genuine concerns, unlike the APC that is playing cheap politics over the issue -that my intention is not a death wish to General Buhari but a factual postion that APC is covering.
“My consideration for the advertorial in the midst of alleged ill health of the late president is the need for the nation not to forget the crisis we were thrown into in 2010 but saved by the National Assembly which had to invoked the Doctrine of Necessity after protests by the Save Nigeria Group ( SNG) “It is in defence of fairness that I called attention to the potential crisis we may face God forbid that the health of the general becomes a hindrance if he was president and his Vice who is from the South West would have to step into the saddle not too long after Obasanjo eight years in office. ” I wish to draw attention to the lead story in the Sunday Tribune of January 18, 2015,entitled, ” Buhari’s planned visit to US causes furore.”
” The story revealed that arrangement had been concluded to fly Buhari to US for a medical check up. That Buhari has been stressed from effects of the rigours of presidential campaigns across the country and he is definitely in need of medical attention, adding that age was a factor as rigours of the campaign was getting at him”. Fayose therefore adviced Buhari to be sincere with himself and step down for a younger and more vibrant person..again,I say it that Buhari is too old and spent to lead nigeria.
The Governor added, “The health of all of us who have stepped into the leadership space is nothing personal to us anymore as it has implications on the polity.” Fayose said that he was certain that time will vindicate him, calling on all Nigerians to vote enmass for the vibrant and energetic President Jonathan to avoid a repeat of history http://www.nigeriabreakingnews.info/?p=368
