What do they all have in common? All were greatly flawed! Washington was a poor military officer, owned slaves and was not good at negotiating. Lincoln ignored court orders, jailed editors and of course considered black people inferior. Roosevelt formed alliances with dictators, put Jewish Europeans including Americans in concentration camps and was a pathological lair!

My friend what you fail to understand is that not all great leaders are calm or politically correct. Theodore Roosevelt was a loud mouth bully but he brought America back to prominence and won a Nobel Peace Prize. Airports are also the responsibility of the FG that is why they have ministry of Transport while only few states have that ministry. Not all states must have FG owned airports so those states the FG deem un necessary have to provide for themselves if they so desire. Thats why for eg PH airport serves Bayelsa and Akwa Ibom while Calabar serves Akwa Ibom too. It is not viable for FG to build one in Akwa Ibom so they had to build their own.

That's what I am saying bro. Airports should not be the responsibility of the fed govt. It should be left to the local govt. This is one of the reasons things don't work in naija because the fed govt does almost everything. It provides revenue for States, it runs schools and hospitals, electricity etc. This in not how things should work.

First of all, there should be no allocation anymore states and local govts should be able to stand on there feet and take care of themselves.
They should raise there own revenue through taxes and provide there own services to the people like roads, electricity, schools (and there school systems), emergency services while the states monitor them.
There should also have there own police with the the peiple voting in there own police commissioners and state and district judges. This is how things work in several developed countries unlike in Naija where the fed govt almost runs everything.
If Buhari truly wanted change this is what he should have done along with gettin rid of the states and breaking the country into several autonomic regions under the oversight of the FG like Spain so that they can fend for themselves instead of expecting everything from the FG.
The cuurent Nigerian model is not set up to succeed and the more we persevere with this the more things remain the same.

Many people are so carried away by hustling and bustling of marriage... They are so in love with the idea of happily ever after..that they forget that if proper care is not taken, their marriage might not end up being the bed of rose they've been dreaming of.
