My comment was not about you not being able to distinguish between the world bank and the IMF it was about you saying that the IMF's forecast was based on "bad belle" as if bad belle is an economic policy in one of the world's largest financial organization. The job of economists in the imf is to analyze your countries situation, crunch the numbers and show you the picture. Whether Nigeria agrees with them and make the recommended changes is not really there problem but just like they say, numbers don't lie but men do.

I guess a lot of people get married for the wrong reasons (sex, to have kids, family pressure, peer pressure, fear of being single forever or of never meeting a better person, hatred of being single, loneliness etc) and that's probably why you hear stories like this. You hardly ever hear a lot of people saying they are getting married because they truly love the person and can't imagine spending the rest of their lives without them.

This is not her jurisdiction, hers fiscal policy (govt expeditures, taxes) not regulation of money supply (monetary policy).

I see many people complaining but I choose to applaud CBN for the fight to save the naira. when all this oil crisis started, in less than a week Russia spent more than a 100 billion dollars to support its currency so I don't think CBN is wrong with the drastic measures made to tackle a drastic situation.

The problem is that in order to artificially prop up your currency you need to burn through your reserves which means that it's not sustainable because nothing lasts forever, especially money.

My sister it doesn't even make sense because when you intervene to boost the value of your currency you have to dip in to your foreign reserves and with oil money not flowing as it used to, the future could be scary.

Abi o. The strength of a Central bank is in the size of its reserves and Naija is about to burn through its reserves pursuing a policy that would not even change the intrinsic (market) value of the naira. Na wa o.
