Politics › Re: IMF: Nigerian Economy May Collapse If… by davidif: 7:43pm On Apr 04, 2017 |
Kaslyni: The truth? what exactly is the truth? that you think I couldnt distinguish between the IMF and world bank? *laughs* I've had reasons to swallow some really bitter truths thats how "learning" goes lots of times... so trust me "your truth" isn't bitter hence with my mouth wide open I SWALLOW YOUR TRUTH *chuckles* My comment was not about you not being able to distinguish between the world bank and the IMF it was about you saying that the IMF's forecast was based on "bad belle" as if bad belle is an economic policy in one of the world's largest financial organization. The job of economists in the imf is to analyze your countries situation, crunch the numbers and show you the picture. Whether Nigeria agrees with them and make the recommended changes is not really there problem but just like they say, numbers don't lie but men do. |

PRISTINEMUSCLES: Whatever divide you are on, be it singlehood or marriagehood? Enjoy and bask in it. The grass is never truly greener on the other side. It is best you water your own grass so that they become luscious green. I laugh when i hear single folks say they would truly experience happiness when they get married. Dat is a big fat lie from the abyss of obesity. If you are a sad, lonely, depressed and pessimitic individual when single, you will most definitely remain so when married. Nothing changes.

JerryTemi: I feel marriage is sweet when you marry your Friend not just marriage but when I see what men do to ladies I fear, when you told yourself that I am OK with this person and the fellow is still rubbing it on your face.I just don't no if marriage is the beat option or staying single and making your money, get pregnant and take care of your child finish. I guess a lot of people get married for the wrong reasons (sex, to have kids, family pressure, peer pressure, fear of being single forever or of never meeting a better person, hatred of being single, loneliness etc) and that's probably why you hear stories like this. You hardly ever hear a lot of people saying they are getting married because they truly love the person and can't imagine spending the rest of their lives without them. |

They have turn it to the system of the highest bidder Bro, I wish more Nigerians were more informed about this or were informed about this issue because it seems to be the source of all of Naija's problems because if the head is corrupt it affects everything else. |

LivingHuman: A facebook user, Adebola Akitoye has shed more light on the controversies surrounding Senator Dino Melaye's certificate.
Adebola, who claims to have served with the senator in Kaduna- shared a copy of his NYSC discharge certificate and a booklet showing the names of the corpers that served during the 1999/2000 set, which includes Senator Dino Melaye's name as "Melaye Daniel".
He wrote; "Just stumbled on my documents this morning, and have this to share about Senator Dino maleye, we actually served together in Kaduna camp for 1999/ 2000 1st tier set, and passed out July 8 2001"
Source; http://www.cambellsblog.com/2017/04/i-served-with-dino-melaye-in-kaduna.html That doesn't mean he graduated from university. He needs to show us his BSc to put this all to rest. |

Kaxmytex: k33p pumping Bros, I don't think you understand what's going on. In other to artificially prop up your currency you need to burn up your foreign reserves. There is a reason why a lot of countries don't do it because eventually you completely deplete your reserves and money don't grow on trees especially with oil prices the way they are right now. |

Business › Re: CBN Moves To Strengthen Naira, Injects More Dollars by davidif: 12:22am On Apr 04, 2017 |
Cuteamigo1: I see many people complaining but I choose to applaud CBN for the fight to save the naira. when all this oil crisis started, in less than a week Russia spent more than a 100 billion dollars to support its currency so I don't think CBN is wrong with the drastic measures made to tackle a drastic situation. The problem is that in order to artificially prop up your currency you need to burn through your reserves which means that it's not sustainable because nothing lasts forever, especially money. |

Joavid: Which kind nonsense is this na?
How long will they keep 'injecting' dollars?
who makes this stupid policies??
When this thing go boomerang eh! My sister it doesn't even make sense because when you intervene to boost the value of your currency you have to dip in to your foreign reserves and with oil money not flowing as it used to, the future could be scary. |
Business › Re: CBN Moves To Strengthen Naira, Injects More Dollars by davidif: 12:16am On Apr 04, 2017 |
Elxandre: how long will this keep on? This measure is just desperately short termed.
Not like our reserves are even fat sef. Abi o. The strength of a Central bank is in the size of its reserves and Naija is about to burn through its reserves pursuing a policy that would not even change the intrinsic (market) value of the naira. Na wa o. |
