Jesus is the Only Reality: the Truth (the Way and the Life). But when the truth is diluted or sugarcoated to please people, make them happy, in order to make More and More members/followers; then it becomes a Painted Reality: FAKE.

We know that the TRUTH is BITTER, but now, it's rather really common to have SWEET TRUTHS, which is especially common in Churches/Denominations, just in order to attract and please huge numbers of people as members.

Of course, we know that More People means More Profits (First fruits, Tithes & Offerings, and the likes).

Apparently, with the way I have been speaking against these False Organized Business Churches for years now, I am quite sure a lot of people, especially the MAIN Business Men and the likes are NOT particularly happy with me.

Someone might even be tempted to say something like, "Hey, why are you trying to spoil "businesses" for MANY people?"

Then, I might as well like to reply, "Well, because the Father's business is EXTREMELY more important."

Luke 2:49 NKJV
49 And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not KNOW that I must be about My Father’s Business?”

Besides, Jesus whipped out the Money Changers from the temple, telling them that the Father's House is not meant for COMMON BUSINESS."

Matthew 21:12
12 Jesus entered the Temple and began to DRIVE OUT all the people buying and selling animals for sacrifice. He Knocked Over the tables of the MONEY CHANGERS and the chairs of those selling doves.

Moreover, if a person's Mind is ALWAYS on Money: to Make More and More Money; in order to end up becoming a BIG SHOT or something, then he should FORGET the Lord's Work.

13 He said to them, “The Scriptures declare, ‘My Temple will be called a HOUSE OF PRAYER,’ but you have turned it into a DEN OF THIEVES!”

They should honestly go out and do Common Businesses, and STOP DECEIVING PEOPLE, and as well stop worsening their Spiritual Conditions; leading them deeper into Hell:

10 Then the devil, who had deceived them, was thrown into the FIERY LAKE OF BURNING SULFUR, "joining" the beast and the FALSE PROPHET. There they will be tormented day and night FOREVER AND EVER.

May we get Light to Escape the Deceptions of Men in this End time. And rather seek Jesus for Eternal Life.

To be wise, there's no use of being Proud of ANYTHING whatsoever, because we've all RECEIVED all freely from God:

However, we can be RICH IN Religion/General knowledge as well: rich in Religious/Scientific/Bible knowledge.

Particularly for MANY Christians or Church goers in general, they are too Rich in Bible knowledge or their specific "church doctrines" ACCORDING to the Founders/Pastors/Prophets and Leaders in general.

Their heads are full of Church traditions of Men: they've never come to Jesus has a Sinner, but a Bible Scholar or a devout Church member. Therefore, they aren't converted yet, and need to get Born again first like Jesus told a great Religious Man like Nicodemus. (John chap 3)

Moreover, they do not humble themselves to seek the Holy Spirit for Light or Wisdom, but trust very much in their "fixed" knowledge and Religious Men: Founders/Leaders, some of which have even died a long time ago.

Not that is bad to look up to a leader, founder, etc. But it's bad to trust them so much that we don't study God's Word and seek God personally.

The common problem is many (if not most) of these Pastors/Founders/Leaders are not necessarily following Jesus in their LIFESTYLES or Daily lives:

Nevertheless, many of them try to MIX Jesus and Mammon: and then try to JUSTIFY it by calling it "BLESSINGS".

NO, it's a WRONG BLESSING: blessing of the DEVIL.

Even the devil tried to "BLESS" Jesus like that:

8 Next the devil took him to the peak of a very high mountain and SHOWED Him ALL the kingdoms of the WORLD AND THEIR GLORY.

9 “I WILL GIVE IT ALL TO YOU,” he said, “if you will kneel down and WORSHIP me.”

No doubt, many of these so-called Blessings/Prosperities are not necessarily from God but as a result of BOWING DOWN to the devil: for both Christians and Non Christians alike.

It's really a BAD idea to Trust in Men/the flesh (religious or not): Not of ourselves nor others, but in Jesus---His Word.

If we are Serious and Humble, Jesus will give us Light, as we CUT OFF the CHAINS or SHACKLES of dead or living Religious Men/Churches binding us.

We must seek to follow real followers of Jesus, not MIXERS (Jesus + Mammon), as well study the scriptures and seek God personally: in order NOT to end up in Hell with the "Prosperous Men".

First, let's seek to be Poor and "Prosperous" in God's Eyes:

The thing is, a principle and/or law is only made redundant, is only made inactive, is only made to look powerless or appear useless, when a superior, stronger, more powerful, higher and better law is involved, engaged, operated or introduced.

The Bible tells us that God implemented the Sabbath day, at the time of creation as a memorial to his wondrous work. It says, Gen 2:2-3 “And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made”.

This shows clearly that at the beginning of time the seventh day was the day set apart by God as His Sabbath. This was later reiterated on Mount Sinai when He wrote the Ten Commandments in stone and gave them to Moses. The fourth commandment plainly states Exo 20:8-11 “Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it”.

This means that in Moses time the Sabbath day was still the seventh day, but did it change after the cross?

Undoubtedly a lot of things changed when Christ died and was resurrected. All of the old Jewish ordinances, with their feasts, fast days, sacrifices and ceremonies (which had been written by Moses in his handwriting and placed in the side of the Ark of the covenant) were abolished. They were no longer necessary as they had all been pointing to the coming of the Messiah, and with His one perfect sacrifice that allowed forgiveness of sins for all time through grace, they were no longer needed. However Jesus never said anything to in any way even imply that the Sabbath day would be changed or altered, and in fact if He had, He would have been contradicting what he had previously said about the Law of God, which included the Sabbath commandment, and that was Mat 5:18 “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled”.

Why does God want us to keep the Sabbath, and how do we do it?

The biblical Sabbath begins at sunset on Friday night and ends at sunset on Saturday. The Bible describes how to keep it as follows. Isaiah 58:13-14 “If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight…not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words, then you shall delight yourself in the Lord; and I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth…” This means we are not to do any kind of real work on the Sabbath like our normal occupation, personal business, housework or any laborious activity. Of course, preparing or cleaning up after a light meal would be all right as we find a number of occasions when Jesus enjoyed a Sabbath meal with others. He never condemned acts of hospitality on the Sabbath (see Luke 14:1-6). Since Jesus said in Matthew 12:10-12 “…it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath”, such as healing the sick or rescuing an animal, obviously performing medical services is fine.

The point of the Sabbath is that, whatever we do, God must be an intrinsic part of it. Taking a walk with your family through a natural setting is a wonderful way to get in touch with God who made the beautiful creations we see. To keep the Sabbath in the true spirit, we have to focus our minds on God and those things He wants us to be concerned with during His holy time. Then, as God promised, we will be truly blessed. As it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath, it is a great time to make encouraging phone calls or visit the sick. The Sabbath is also a Leviticus 23:3 “…sabbath of rest, an holy convocation” and is an ideal time for worship services. When we fellowship with others in whom God dwells, we are also fellowshipping with Him (see 1 John 1:3, 7). We should view the Sabbath as a very special day, a period when we can take time to deeply study and thoughtfully analyse the scriptures. It is a time when we can sit quietly, meditating over and contemplating the truly big issues of life and eternity. In addition, the Sabbath is the perfect time for heartfelt prayer to our Father in heaven to commune with and worship Him, to get to know Him intimately. This is why we can call God’s Sabbath a delight.

There is no such thing as Sabbath day, Xmas day, Easter day, Holy day, Good day, Bad/Sad day/Etc in the New Covenant.

Sabbath day is Old Covenant which has been done away with or fulfilled in Christ:

Colossians 2:16 - 17 NLT
16 So don’t let anyone CONDEMN you for what you eat or drink, or for not celebrating CERTAIN Holy days or New moon Ceremonies or SABBATHS.

17 For these rules are only SHADOWS of the REALITY yet to come. And Christ himself IS THAT REALITY.

However, the Sabbath is a symbol of God's REST in the New Covenant:

The Sabbath/Rest of God means Faith, Holiness, Peace, Joy AND "Security" in Eternal Life of Jesus in general, for those living to do His Will for the rest of their lives.

This Sabbath/Rest is NOT meant for One Special day or some days of the week, but ALWAYS OR EVERYDAY, It's living in God's Presence:

16 ALWAYS be Joyful. (not sometimes)

In conclusion: The Sabbath in the New covenant means a Life of holiness, peace and joy through FAITH in God: without Faith it's impossible to please God.

Therefore, we're to REJOICE and Give THANKS to God in EVERYTHING ALWAYS, NOT SOMETIMES because God makes ALL things (good or bad) to work together for good for EVERYONE living to please Him. Romans 8:28

Nevertheless, there is NO room for gloom, fear, anger, depression, worry and the likes for ALL children of God.

If we're not ALWAYS Rejoicing and Thankful, it's a mark that we are not in God's Rest yet, or at least not completely.

We need to Repent of our UNBELIEF, Doubt and other Sins to enter God's Rest:

yeah! I understand you.
You tend to have zero tolerance to sin which is very good. But that itself is lousy, because it may seduce you to think that you yourself doesn't commit sin and your followers will also tend to believe so.
For several years with my parents i attended Deeper life bible church and i used to think that pastor Kumuyi do not commit sin due to his zero tolerance methods only for me to be proven wrong as i was growing up

You were right saying the gospel is revealed in grace and truth. But saying that the grace and truth was meant to strike a balance, that was wrong.
Note that grace itself was never balanced, there was no justice in grace. Because, how will you explain the favor gotten from grace that one did not merit?


Matthew 20:15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?
Matthew 20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

So, Grace did not come as a balanced entity
Why?
Because mankind couldn't have a balanced justice or truth right from the day Adam and Eve sinned from the beginning.

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

So, you saying that grace and truth was meant to strike a balance, that statement do not follow.

But rather, if you read through that scripture Matthew 20:1-16, you will discover that both grace and truth worked separately independent of each other. That means, they have nothing to do with each other. Matthew 20:14

This further explains why Paul made this mutual exclusivity between grace and justice

Romans 11:6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.

Remember Jesus told a sinner(s) to Go And Sin No More, IF NOT, something Worse would happen to them.

I don't believe in the Grace Gospel that doesn't include Obedience. In fact, I consider it Demonic cos it's Antichrists' (against Jesus teachings).

so, if these scripture implies that for us to escape the damnation of hell we must repent from our sins what happens to the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross for us to escape that same damnation?

Which one are we to follow in order to escape the damnation, is it the cross or our repentance?
