Surely, the present Pandemic is not the worst, and will NEVER be the WORST that will ever happen to ALL Mankind.

All troubles and calamities on earth before, during and after the pandemic are still the result of the Fall of Man: Disobedience/Sin of Man from the beginning; which led to DEATH.

Death then became a GREAT enemy since then: in fact, no one would take the Pandemic and other common Troubles seriously if not because they are most times Deadly.

Meanwhile, has recorded in the Scriptures, things like this Pandemic shouldn't take any TRUE FOLLOWER of Jesus has a Shock nor by Surprise:

Matt.24.7 - For nation "will" rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there WILL be FAMINES, PESTILENCES, and earthquakes in VARIOUS places.

Matt.24.8 - All THESE are the BEGINNING of "sorrows".

Did you "catch" VERSE 8 well? If not, please do. (See Matt. chap. 24 altogether)

Now, let's take a quick look at some past and future WORSE things leading to major DEATHS:

PAST

Gen.7.21 - And all flesh DIED that moved on the earth: birds and cattle and beasts and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, AND EVERY MAN. (died)

(So, ALL except the Eight in the Ark (Noah and his family) DIED.

Note: The Ark is the picture of the true Church of our time: the FEW saved believers, who have REPENTED and are pursuing HOLINESS of the heart in Jesus.

FUTURE

Rev.9.15 - And the four angels who had been prepared for this hour and day and month and year were turned loose TO KILL ONE-THIRD of ALL "the People on Earth.

Nonetheless, THE WORST of all will be during the reign of THE ANTICHRIST, and about the End of the World altogether. (See Matt. Chap. 24; 2nd Thess. 2:3-12, Rev. Chapters 13,14,15,16,19):

And that NO MAN mighty buy or sell, save he that had the MARK, or the NAME of the beast, or the number of his name.

Death may come for anyone, but God has made away for us through Jesus to ESCAPE The Second Death--Eternity in Hell.

It's time to REPENT of Sins and Dead Religions of Men that don't lead to Obedience to Jesus according to the New testament.

We can't fast and PRAY AWAY things that has been written and will surely happen, but we can HUMBLE ourselves in repentance, Obey and seek GRACE from Jesus to ENDURE ALL tough times of THE PRESENT AND FUTURE till the End, in order to be Saved. Matt. 24:24.

To fight these battles, we've got to first set things right with Jesus by Repenting of Sins/Worldliness.

We CAN'T overcome the devil in Sins.

Evil CANNOT overcome Evil/Darkness

But Light will certainly overcome Darkness.

If we are walking in Sins--Darkness, We won't get any backup from Jesus to overcome.

Unfortunately, our common Pastors/Churches have made us consciously or unconsciously believe that our Enemies are MAINLY Flesh and Blood: Human Enemies.

If you don't believe that then listen carefully to some of their sermons or prayer points; sometimes full of Curses; demonic, selfish, and "unchristlike" utterances in general.

Many of them are no doubt "smarter" than Jesus and His Apostles who said:

"Love your Enemies"

"Do good to those who Hate you"

"Overcome Evil with good"

"Vengeance is Mine, I will repay, says The Lord."

It's the devil's great pleasure to see them disobeying those commands above because they are trying to be WISER than Jesus.

Hence, we remain defeated for lack of OBEDIENCE.

Yes, the Bible says "Resist the Devil and he will flee!"

Very true, but BEFORE that it says SUBMIT TO GOD.

NOTHING will work if we don't follow the flow:

1. SUBMIT to God: Repent, Surrender to Him: obey His commandments even if they sound like FOOLISHNESS to man (e.g love your human enemies; do good to them).

2. RESIST the devil: Yes, by faith then rebuke the devil.

3. And he will FLEE!

Now, many of us won't like to do all that, but would rather prefer to go for "religious" SHORTCUTS.

We most times prefer to jump through hoops to see different brands of PROPHETS (from mountains to mountains; churches to churches). Fasting and Praying; attending meetings or crusades with no major results.

Some Christians might even like to visit traditional professors/herbalist, soothsayers, etc. These ideas are usually from friends or their "beloved" LOCAL MOVIES.

Alas, many of these Prophets/Churches are BOND servants of the devil in secret: WOLVES IN SHEEP'S CLOTHING.

They won't lead you to GENUINE Repentance/Salvation; BUT only promising them GREAT signs and wonders WITH MANY Stories, but later to blame people for lack of faith.

Therefore, people continue being bond SLAVES of these False Prophets/Churches because they REJECT the Truth, but want shortcuts: FALSE signs and wonders.

Okay friend, you see, many Bible translations used the word "fulfill", which means to complete, satisfy or we can say make it PERFECT OR UPGRADED.

He fulfilled it by putting an END to the Old (law) in order to introduce the New Law/Covenant:

Moses/Old covenant = Laws (flesh): 10 commandments, ceremonial laws/Sabbath days/Circumcision/Tithing; and all other Dos and Don'ts, etc.

The bible says all those laws are just the shadow of Christ; and the Reality is Christ Himself:

So, Jesus summarized the whole laws to the Law of the Spirit which is LOVE:

Moses = Don't Kill any human being.

Not to argue, but in my understanding, death there means Spiritual Death = Eternal Separation from God (Eternity in Hell). The Bible also calls it The Second Death. Rev. 2:11

We can only overcome the FEAR of death for now, not The angel of Death itself--God will do that later:

Alot has been deliberated on tithe in the church but it seems some pastors still won't agree that tithe is archaic ways of worshipping God. I believe in offering, I believe in supporting the work of God and even sowing of seed. Some pastors even tame it that if you don't pay your tithe, you have committed sin. I don't know how true is this. Can someone tell me here that if you don't pay tithe you v committed sin? Please be gentle with me because I want to learn.

God's word also said that man and woman will become one! Genesis 2:24; Matthew 19:5

The scriptures made us to understand that they're not equal {1Corinthians 11:3} God is greater than Jesus, Jesus greater than man, man is greater than woman!

Did I not identify Jesus as the 2nd, while Holy Spirit as the 3rd above.

What you and I quoted are true, and we should not try to understand everything with our small brains.

Jesus said his words are Spirit and Life, so we got to believe it whether it's reasonable or not. John 6:63

The Just shall live by faith (not by reason). That's why it is always difficult for MANY intelligent people to know God, cos they want to understand everything.
