Celebrities / Re: Omotola Shows Off Her Secondary School Leaving Certificate by davidugotex(m): 4:28pm On Jul 02, 2014
Pulse4real: We all know every parent tells the never ending stories of how they were very brilliant in their school days and to make this story even more interesting,Nollywood legend Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde has proof to back her brilliant stories.

The actress stumbled into her First School Leaving Certificate today, and felt so proud that she has always been very intelligent. As a result, she decided to share the certificate online. To her, she has been very consistent, doing great in acting the way it has always been. Another point of interest is that her certificate revealed that she left Primary School in 1987, with flying colours.

http://www.nairapulse.com/2014/07/wow-brilliant-omotola-expose-her.html

A coloured certificate with coloured logo, Watermark and seal issued as far back as 1987, a period when Typewriters were not so common. Not to talk about computers. We are not so dumb you know. Even if I accept this to be real, what does she hope to achieve by this? Publicity stunt indeed.

Celebrities / Re: Divorced Cases That Shook Nollywood (Photos) by davidugotex(m): 3:43pm On Jul 02, 2014
Whenever a marriage is founded on the wrong foundation, divorce is inevitable. Many of these celebrities married for fame, riches, looks, social class etc. We know too well that those things don't guarantee a happy marriage. When the chips are down any marriage founded on them would surely hit the rock. Those of them that are cool-headed to marry not because of material things like Chioma Chukwuka, are still enjoying their marriage.

Yobo where did you leave your thinking cap since that you waited to crash us out of the World cup before it dawned on you that you have nothing new to offer? If you had done this after the Nations Cup it would have been more honourable.
No wonder they say it is better to leave the stage when ovation is loudest.

Politics / Is Yerima Promoting Or Reducing Prostitution As He Claimed? by davidugotex(m): 12:45pm On Dec 17, 2013
In 2010, the outgoing governor of Zamfara State(currently a senator) Ahmed Sani Yerima went to Egypt and took a girl of 13 years as wife, paying her poor parents $100,000 as bride price. The media become awashed with the news because many viewed it as the height of child abuse. Before we could totally forget the incident,
some few month ago, the Nigerian Senate was brought to global limelight negatively when this pedophile senator, Yerima pushed the lawmakers to pass a bill making it legal to marry a girl-child as wife in Nigeria. This singular act brought global criticism, many groups, NGOs and foundations protested and challenged the action but all yielded no result. One of those leading the campaign against the 'child bride' law was Nigerian star actress, Stella Damasus. In the heat of the argument, a frontline foreign TV Station, Aljazera brought the two major figures in the protest- Senator Ahmed Yerima and Stella Damasus to a live debate. Anybody that watched that debate would give credits to Stella for her boldness and passion in defending these minors. But all through the debate, the senator was shouting "It is our religion", "we marry them early to prevent them from going into prostitution". I wouldn't go into all the details of that debate for lack of space, but popular video sharing sites like youtube still have the recording of it.
Let me cast our minds back to some months back, when about 6000 women took to the streets to protest the refusal of men to marry them. That was the State Ahmed Yerima governed for 8 years. But I ask, how can these women/ladies get married when their men only go for little girls who have not fully attained the puberty age?
Once again this child molester, Yerima is in the news again. This time around he has just divorced the 17 years old Egyptian wife he just married 3 years ago and has yet married another 15 years Egyptian. Is this not an act of wickedness?
What do Yerima and other muslims take from these little girls which they dispose them off after taking those things? What will now become the fate of this 17 years old divorcee? Please my discerning people, is marrying a girl at 13 and divorcing her at 17 promoting or reducing PROSTITUTION as our muslims claim?
It is better that we speak up now to save our children from these monsters.

So you want SOLUDO who only joined the party 2 weeks to the election to become APGA governorship candidate with an EFCC investigation still hanging on his head?

You want SOLUDO who is NOT a party faithful to use APGA and win the governorship election and then defect to APC just like his co-mate in arm, Gov. Rochie, sorry Rochas Okorocha did?

Sorry, we are wiser now!

When did Willy join APGA? I think I need to rephrase the question, was Obiano a member of APGA or even a politician before Obi brought him from nowhere?

When did this happen?.Cos am well aware of the fact that the major contestants in the 2010 elections are Catholics, with the exception of Andy Uba who is Anglican. How then did he play "religious politics" to win,as u assert?.
Nairaland has gone to the dogs indeed if such blatantly partisan piece of trash can make the frontpage.

You have unraveled your foolishness by yourself. Your use of 'major' shows that even in your empty brain, you still acknowledged the fact that there were many other protestants in the race.

I appreciate all the comments, positive and negative. My people from Anambra North drumming up support for Peter Obi and his stooge because of the zoning trash, if truly Peter Obi has your best interest at heart, he would have allowed Dr. Obiogbolu whom your zone nominated when he (Obi) came asking you to nominate a candidate. But what did he do? He dumped your preferred candidate imposing his account officer on APGA. If had even allowed fairness to prevail, Prof. Soludo who is a more salable candidate would have emerged. And I tell you, if APGA had somebody like Soludo as their candidate, they wouldn't even need to stress themselves up in campaign before he wins the election.

maximunimpact: @OP pls which party and candidate are u supporting?

I'm not rooting for anybody in particular, though I think Ngige is more experienced than the rest of them, but my fear is that Nigerian politicians are pathological liars; they have a record of not keeping to their campaign promises. So I can't actually vouch for any candidate.

Politics / An Open Letter To Anambra Voters. by davidugotex(m): 9:20am On Nov 02, 2013
FELLOW ANAMBRARIANS
For how long should we continue to allow Mr Peter Obi put enmity between us in a bid to achieve his Selfish desires? In the last guber election, he employed religious politics- Catholics against Protestant. Now that it is obvious that that approach is becoming unpopular, he has introduced the bigotry of zoning. Must he always instigate Anambra people against one another in a bid to have his selfish way?

Is it not on record that Anambra North whom Peter Obi claims to be politically marginalized has produced the First and only President of Nigeria from the South-East zone in the person of Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe? Is it not also on record that since the return of democracy in 1999, the only Senate President Anambra State has produced is from the zone in the person of Rt Hon. Chuba Okadigbo? Have we also forgotten that the late Ukpabi Asika who was the governor of the whole Eastern States was also from Anambra North? My people I ask, how is a zone that has produced these notable leaders marginalized?

In terms of infrastructure, the biggest market in West Africa- Main Market Onitsha, is it not cited in Anambra North?
The Refinery that is being built in Anambra State by Orient Petroleum Ltd, please is it not cited in Anambra North? I ask again, how is Anambra North marginalized?
Anambra State airport which was previously proposed to be built in Oba was later zoned to Anambra North by the government of Peter Obi; how are they marginalized? Let somebody explain to me how a zone that has the largest market in West Africa, the only refinery in the State, and the proposed cargo airport marginalized

Many of us followed the just concluded debates organized for all the governorship aspirants in the State, both the one organized by Silverbird Television and the one by AIT. We saw how Peter Obi's stooge- Willie Obiano was clueless as to how he plans to govern Anambra State; we also saw how he was reading out everything from a note handed over to him by Peter Obi even when the moderator of the debate made it clear at the beginning that no candidate should speak from a prepared note. We have also heard Obiano dwell so much on enlisting the support of Donor Agencies, in fact, there is never a project he planned to embark on without the mention of Donor Agencies, again I ask, When has Anambra State become beggars that we can no longer generate resources to tackle our own problems? What if those "Father Christmas" agencies disappoint him, so his government will achieve nothing?

My people, let us together sweep away those who want to enthrone mediocrity and bigotry in our State, and vote for those who have the vision, the road map, the courage, and the charisma to give us good governance that we desire.

Politics / Re: Anambra State Governorship Election Debate On STV on Oct 25th, 2013 by davidugotex(m): 9:55am On Oct 27, 2013
As a full-blooded Anambrarian I can say that when it comes to oratory, Ngige has a full mastery of it more than his co-contestants. But his setbacks include his inability to sponsor a single bill as a senator in 2yrs plus, even after promising to resign if he didn't do so within 6 months.
His choice of flagging off his campaign on a date fixed for Ofala festival in Onitsha, is also another setback.
His 3rd setback is his support of Fashola's deportation of Igbos who he(Ngige) termed 'destitutes', and his unwillingness to tender his own apology even after Fashola had tendered his.
Many Anambra people who don't want him as governor are of the opinion that- if as an aspirant he could join forces with Fashola to deport his brothers, what would he then do when he becomes the governor? Maybe by then Buhari, Tinubu and Fashola would be the ones running Anambra State.
My point is this, Ngige knowing fully well that he has governorship ambition, would have performed well in the senate so as to make himself a better brand.
Having said all that, I do not trust any Nigerian politician anymore because they have a reputation of not keeping to their campaign promises. I only pray God who knows the inmost thoughts of human beings to help us sift out the most sincere, capable, credible and patriotic candidate from among them.
Like my post if you believe in this prayer.

Inasmuch as I love callipygous girls, but I also appreciate ladies who are proud of who they really are. Do other things to add value to yourself, don't live your life trying to impress guys. When you develop yourself and become successful, guys would naturally come for you whether you have flat 'nyash' & no breas.ts, these wouldn't matter again. I can never marry any lady whose only asset is her body.
