And that is where l think we need to focus on first, eveb as we try to deal with the Rape allegations which seem to be on the rise.
Honestly, if l have the Power, l cant imagine what l can do to anyone confirmed of being a Rapist.

But what l or any sensible person, especally males should not fall for is the Stereotyping and Generalisation that Rape is a MALE ONLY OFFENSE and that once accused, the Accused person is GUIILTY as CHARGED, without any form of INVESTIGATION and PROOF.

That would amount to Mob-mentality and Injustice, make Rape a weapon in the hands of BITTER, VENGEFUL Women like cococandy who have emotional issues they cant deal with.
So Govt needs to improve on basic general security, establish more forensic Laboratories and train more staff to make use of modern technology and equipment to crack Rape cases and everyone who could be a potential victim shoudl also look at ways of minimising their exposure to such animals that can commit rape ("commonsense practices" lthat would not make me carry a hundred thousand dollars in my hand wallet and walk into a den of robbers at 11pm, hoping the Armed Robbers will be normal sensible people and wont rob me, because they know that Armed Robbers will get killed when caught! )

There are measures that our ladies can take to protect themselves from rape but they ignore them....

In as much as I CONDEMN RAPE AND RAPISTS in totality, we must learn not to associate every death or attack of the female folks to rape else INNOCENT souls will be wasted on suspicion.

Having CONDEMNED RAPE AND RAPISTS, a careful, security check, intelligence and scrutiny at the corpse could suggest an attack on the lady since her property like palms slippers, dress etc are still intact on herself.

internet fraud (Yahoo-yahoo, G-boys), ponzi or other types of fraud have become a very common event in our daily lives. We tend to know or have heard of people that engage in these events, but we keep quiet about it, for one reason or the other, maybe because they are our friends or family.

How many of Our friends who are into Internet Fraud (G-boys), whether they have hit or not, have you reported to the Police or EFCC??

we tend to forget that, "It is these same individuals (G-boys), who engage in all these acts of fraud, & hit it big tomorrow that would use those money to contest for election with well-meaning individuals like yourself and win you, because you do not have enough money to spend like them, regardless of what your motives or plans are.

After they win and get there, they'd continue their G-boys on a political level, with their looting, and then you'd come on Nairaland or twitter to complain.

Just imagine Hushpuppi was to run for senate tomorrow, who would win Him with all the money he has to spend??

Also on other other side, most youths and young persons, students, etc that go onto cyber-crime is due to "Peer Pressure/Influence". if you see someone you know from Adam, who is just at your level or maybe you are even better than the person, all of a sudden, riding big cars, and buying houses for himself or his parents, you'd start thinking about why you cannot achieve the same, and then you'd be ready to do whatever it takes to do that, however legal or illegal.
You will then encourage yourself with the fact that many people are doing it, and that there is corruption everywhere.

I had lived in all the 3 major regions in Nigeria and I know how accomodative the yorubas are. Check the percentage of Igbos and hausas leaving and earning their livelihood in yorubaland compare it to other regions of the country, you will get the fact. In the street I used to live in Ibadan, we have a lot of Igbo and Hausa landlords there which is very rare to see in the East. Some years back, two factions were fighting over Eze Indigbo title in Ibadan, this happened simply because the host were friendly.

I've been in lagos since late 80s,
Stayed in abj for 5yrs and back to lagos...
I housed one for 5yrs.....
His tribes men kicked him out after just 2months.
