Wait ọ. Is Mykab functioning yet? I no think so. My own be say, if no be panadol, it can never be. We can't manage our own ehailing biz yet. We still need these foreign ones very well. So, Govt should focus on either license or their tithe. They can't have both. shollywendy1: It not fit work self. Mykab has been onboarding drivers/ cars of 2003 model upward. Thanks for your time. I just got a response from them. My account is blocked cos I operated rider's and driver's apps same time. Never knew this is wrong. But it s late now. Well, I got bonus last 2 weeks too ndubuis: Where you paid bonus last week? Promo seasons are usually when Uber block drivers more. If one or two requests you had last week looks shady, they will axe your account without pity. If you are new too in the system, you could be blocked out before you even start if they get too suspicious of your account and movements. They simply don't have any trust in you, it's called profiling, Uber is good at that.
Did you convert any trip to offline lately, not just yesterday? You have to know when and how to do this offline thing with Uber. Rider may agree but the system will see that you are still in that vicinity with rider and off with rider in the same car, going towards the same direction. It's so easy to detect this. The moment you go offline after trips, that app will track you for five to ten minutes. Sometimes, it follows your movement for almost twenty minutes. It's better not to go offline at all if you don't want a trip on Uber(what I do). Complete trips and only ask for offline on return trips. It's a little bit safer this way.
Your documents, pictures, are there discrepancies in any form? Look deeper bro and a little bit backwards, you may find out why you were blocked.
Forget about their Nigerian office, those guys only provide support services, you may be directed to an Uber security man who may not have a clue. The real tracking and blocking of account is done oversees like someone pointed out here. An in app message for further clarification may do. I seriously doubt if they will respond. Bid Uber goodbye and move to other apps. |

None of these happened bro. I tried to be nice to my riders as much as possible. I just wish they would say I what I did wrong Ghost1994: Naso my brother..
But Uber no Dey owe Money dem go pay you your money.
And also, some of the major reasons why Uber Dey blocked account be say if you canceled too many trips (they must’ve warned you for this).
If you start trip without rider in your car.
If you have a physical abuse on your rider (slap, punch, beats etc).
If you lie on many cash trips that you didn’t received cash payments and they refund you.
If customer report you that you came with another vehicle which is different from the one you have on your profile (this one go make dem vex).
If you vex dropped rider on isolated area (rider rude to you around 9pm and you con vex drop him/her on top third mainland bridge) and he/she con report you before you write Uber, your account don go be that.
Rider got robbed by driver.
You didn’t return riders missing item(s)
NB: I didn’t claim you did any of these options but they can’t just yank you off without any reason(s).
Think about it Baba |

I had this funny experience yesterday night on Indriver. Got a request from this Olosho some mins to 10pm. Drove to PU and she didn't come out u till 9.55pm. We started trip from Osapa to Admiralty way, only for rider to be telling me she will stop her and there bla bla. I told her indriver doesn't allow that and besides it was almost 10. Curfew will soon start. After too much shouting that she needed to get headache relief, I had to take her to a pharmacy not knowing na condom she wan go buy ọ. She was at the chemist for another 15 mins. When she came out, I told her the price can't be the same again. Na so she fired up ọ. Calling me all sorts of names. That she won't add anything. At this point, I went gaga on her too. I told her to keep the money but I would take her back to PU. Initially, she and her friend thought I was joking until they saw me firing back to PU. They started begging me that I should take them to their destination. As at that time, police don dey road, I managed to turn back. Oya Olosho pay me my money, she said I must take her to her destination. Where is the destination? She no know o. She said I should just follow her map direction. What is the address on the map? She said she no kno. Oya lemme check it for you on your map, she said I shouldn't touch her phone. The initial address on Indriver na Admiralty Way. Las Las I dropped them somewhere inisde Phase 1 after driving around for some mins. Blasted my car away to go address my case with police why I still dey road after 10 pm. |

Gentlelife50: You don't know the app well, there is no way it will give you 1,500 for a trip of 4k. I have used it very well, so I know what I am saying You may be wrong though. With the traffic situation in Lagos, the app is not helping. I once took a trip on indriver from Agungi area to Magodo. Trip was agreed at 4k. Uber Bolt showed circa 5k. Mind you, we were on that trip for 6 hrs. Now tell me if it would have ended 5k if it was on bolt. Even with the commission, I m sure I would have taken home reasonable amount higher than what agreed on that day. |

My brother, the thing tìrẹ me o Olayetan: Some drivers got no chills to think if the price is favourable or not, you will see a request of 4k norm and someone will offer 1500 on indriver and a slowpoke driver will just quickly accept without accesing the distance of the trip and if possible there will be traffic on the way...
That's why i hate that indriver. |

Indriver doesn't need to be bothered at all. They have no office or rep here. Even if they start taking commission, no Govt people to disturb them. By then, it will be a case of drivers telling their riders not to sell them out. Crvrider: This thing is real and could affect the business. These ehailing companies are taking the matter seriously. Got a call from an indriver rep. today, some lady with a foreign accent. She wanted to know:
If am aware of the governments new policy? If I know what the governments intentions are ( which of cause is to start collecting commissions from the ehailing companies)
Also requirements from the drivers She asked if I have the lasdri card (I answered yes) If my car is nothing less than 3 years old. (I answered no)
There's really going to be some serious shake down...drivers get ready. |

At Felicity0001 follow this advice. I understand your point. Some riders are devilish esp at night. How can you ask me to take you to Ikorodu from Lekki when time is 5 mins to 10pm. That's my own case yesterday. But I jump am pass! Do that immediately before Uber reason your matter. But you shouldn't have started the trip sha ọ! OmoOshodi: what you did was totally wrong.....cos 2 wrongs don't make a right.....thats cheating......but as I dey pity ur account wey Uber go block should you fail to defend ur act......send message to Uber(very fast before 12hrs) that it's a 3rd party trip that the rider requested for his girlfriend which you dropped and end the trip and earned your money....also add that you noticed there was a fight btw the guy and his girlfriend and you were shocked to see the earning adjusted back to zero..... Reason is Uber already see that the rider did not go on the trip from their system......just add some more salt and pepper paint the guy red and tell Uber u don't wish to meet him again as he's using swearing words for you when you contacted him.......but stop the act....there is a law of sowing and reaping o

Orisirisi Beng1234: Just finished an annoying delivery trip. When I got to pu, the girl that ordered brought a cake that was to be taken to cmd . I started the trip in her presence to confirm the address. A mosque was used as address *maybe for landmark*. I moved, immediately. Got to the mosque, called who I was to deliver to. Me: good morning, ........... I’m to deliver a cake and I’m at the mosque. She: look for number 8 I looked round and number 8 was just after the mosque. I told her I was in front of number 8. 10mins after, I called again to inform her I haven’t seen anyone. She: what are u saying! U are not in number 8. Me: ***surprised** ***abi no be number 8 I Dey see? And I already ended trip ooo. I had to call the lady that ordered to explain. It was then I discovered I was a street away. immediately,I drove to the street, after getting the name. Called on arrival, she was too harsh. Hian! I saw someone come out to carry cake.
Me: my money is 2250 *showing her on the app* She: ok, lemme take the cake and collect money from madam Me: go and collect before you pick the cake.
As if I knew something was about to happen*
When she left, madam called and said she can’t pay 2250 and will pay 2k. I just locked my doors and was chilling. I guess people around noticed and came to ask wassup. I explained and someone paid the 250 for her. |

Thanks for this. Na drivers dey allow the rubbish. Felicity0001: Honestly you nailed it. Uber needs to review all these policies to say the least because I wonder why sb would want me to deliver their pakacge at their door step. The annoying one is that you've to start calling receiver and sender from d same small fare they want to pay.
Even this issue with loads it's beginning to piece me off, what most rider do now is order uber after keke or yellow taxi must have bill them high because if their load but las las uber will charge 400/500 naira for a trip yellow cab or keke must have charged 2k.
That was how I got this request today at pipeline in front of good luck Jonathan estate, drove to pu only to c a guy with two bags of charcoal. R: pls I'm going to the next b/s Me: whats inside the bags R: charcoal. His hands were even dirty from the stains of charcoal. M: ha! You shld have informed me na, this will dirty my car. Rider was trying to convince me it won't while I was thinking about it the next tin was ok cancel if you can't go.
Me that hate hearing that word. I just pulles over in front of the Super market, went to easy myself then came back and was buying roasted corn to eat, all of these is just to allow 5min ellaps oh.
The guy was still there.
Rider: Cancel na. Me: oh! Sorry I tot u have. Brought my phone put of the pocket it was remaking about 15seconds. I cancelled on "riders item doesn't fit".
The mumu guy got a bike, carry him load waka.
Nonsense, people you want to come and dirty my car for me plus take AC untop N400.
We drivers too have to be discipline as well if you see trips like that reject them and by the time 4-5 drivers reject the person head will reset. |
