macjive01: they were charged for "administrative purposes" as arms and security were needed to be bought and paid for to secure the aid agency's staff and personnel. the agencies were more than happy to pay for their "security" against Nigerian forces.

do you know the Nigerian Government poisoned a batch of milk transported thru Nigeria for Biafran starving babies ?

this plus vile, malicious, premeditated bombing of agency's food truck necessitated the request for security from the Biafran government.

You see why Igbos are regarded as mor0ns.

What was ojukus plan of feeding his populace before going to war?

Why duid he run away after the war came to his doorstep

macjive01: dayakanu, the problem with you is that you under estimate the sheer biblical strength of the Igbos.

go and ask any solider who fought the war till the end.

pound for pound - in terms of how many soldiers died- the Biafran military defeated Nigerian forces hands down, despite having a more rudiment weapon. ( Biafran are master tacticians )

Biafran Achilles heel was the kwashoiko which was allien to the masses, it was new and had no know treatment- hence killed a lot of people.
it is estimated that 3m biafrans died in the war, of that 2.7 were children and women.

towards the end of the war Biafrans turned the tide with guerrilla warfare of which small units were dispersed to various FG locations to wittle down the f.u.cktards.

towards the end of the war, biafran suddenly began to have better equipment- this was necessitated from the levy ojukwu charged the Aid /humanitarian agencies.which was subsequently used to buy arms, as well as improvement in the potency of the OGWUNIKWE -mass destroyer

toward the end of the war , Biafran began to win back territories, may be more like displace FG forces at Biafran territories. do you know till the last day of war, fight was still on going at calabar, where the first shot was fired ?
So tell me why you surrendered and why Ojuku fled if you guys were winning back territories, getting better equipment and winning Guerilla wars

Ojukwu running and awolowo drinking poison what is the difference? Now you answer that Ewu Meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.
many leaders have committed suicide in history.

many german warlords commited suicide, many Japanese warlords commited suicide

But tell me one military person leading an army that fled and left his subjects to the whims of the invaders just name 5 ppl warlords leading an army that fled

no worry, wen una blood come down, we will discuss this in detail.

but i honestly dont know what you want the manager to do if a player demands to leave, other clubs can pay more wages, and the businessman who own the club realises that he is running a business and not a charity.

what?
Hold on to him and let him move if necesary for free.

Bayern did the same to ballack when Madrid was chasing him and even man utd was offering him the captain armband.

bayern made a statement that they would never sell, We are not a selling club and he should wait out his contract.

When barca/Real came snooping for Ribery, Schweinsteiger and lahm same thing we told them BAYERN IS NOT A SELLING CLUB

Abali1: If you are conversant with the history of the Nigerian civil war, you will know that what you wrote is not entirely the truth. If the Igbos did not resist the invading armies, the number might well have been up to ten million.
Moreover, the FG government has a lot of help from the foreigners. If it had been Hausa/North versus the SE, may be history would have been written differently.
You think if the Nigerian army were interested in making it 10m. What would have stopped them after Ojuku ran?

Go and read about the World War 2. After the Germans declared their intention to surrender, the Soviet forces would have nothing of it and still continued killing and r@ping german women in their millions.

Even when the Germans signed a surrender Pact in Rheims, The Soviet rejected it and continued the killing, They insisted they must sign another one in Berlin the German capital to complete the humiliation

Ojuku had fled, The Biafra forces were defeated what would have stopped the Nigerian forces from cleaning out everyone left? Just ask yourself

Saying FG had a lot of support is a daft thing to say. tell me which country goes to war without seeking Alliances? Even the US in 2003 was seeking the Allied forces and NATOs alliances. its silly to think you would just wear singlet armed with catapult and stone and go to war.

If Nigeria had foreign support and biafra had none, then who is to blame for That? I am sure many brainless Biafrans would say Awolowo is to blame for them not getting world powers to support them

Do you know if they contributed to building it in anyway and you want to kick them out of their sweat?

OP what did you contribute to building this house that you want to spread legs and enjoy?

What you should do is get your own money and go get a house for you and your husband and leave the family in their house

You need space? See her mouth like a cows V@gina. Cant you go and look for space on 3rd mainland bridge or for makoko
Point of correction: It's not YOUR house. It's THEIR HOME. A family home that was there long before you set foot there. How can you even think of asking a man to throw his family out? His mum, sister and brother? How do you think that would make you look?

You obviously walked into a ready-made home and now you want to take what doesn't belong to you? This is akin to "reaping where you haven't sown". Did you invest a Kobo of your money into building that house? Thank your lucky stars that your in-laws are cordial to you, because you obviously aren't to them.

By the way, where is your husband's father? You say your husband owns the home but you only make mention of his mum and siblings. I suspect the home you call your husband's was actually built by his father, and on his death was passed on to your husband - by virtue of him being the oldest son. Now if this is the case, that home really belongs to his family and is a family home.

If anything at all, speak to your husband about you two moving into a smaller, cheaper form of accommodation. Unless of course, you think that is beneath you? And if that's the case, then you're no better than a money-grabbing-bitch.
Ef can i marry you because of this comment?

i dont mind being a part time husband sef. but I must marry you

Abali1: Dayo, am not saying their response/revenge should be equal... after the July counter coup, the killing continued. Many Igbos were ready to go back to their region... Gowon, Head of State and Katsina the then Governor all assured the Igbos that the killings will stop... Did the killings stop?

My dear, The Genocide was unnecessary.
Its left to the people who were wronged to decide when the response is enough.

They had a counter coup, they thought that wasnt enough, they had pogroms they felt that wasnt enough

So it went to a war it was until they had 3m Ibos that they felt it was enough

Lessons for the future dont start what you cant finish e.g start a coup

Tell her to stop eating chicken and step up to garri and groundnut so people wont know she has money

My advice is let her live her life.

But the genocidal killings of the Igbos in the North were uncalled for.
Nothing is uncalled for after you start the first action.

Kill my brother, So you expect me to kill your own brother too? You must be a jester. I would wipe out your whole village

Abali1: My dear we can go back and forth all we want, but the truth was that after the July counter coup, the Northerners have no justifiable reason to continue with the Genocidal killings.
Please, you can read up the available literatures on Nigerian Civil war and you will get some of these facts straight.

Ojukwu did not need to convince the Igbo's that the Federal troops(Mainly Northerners) were bent on killing more igbos. Those that managed to escape the "Pogrom" were living witnesses to the horrors meted out to the Igbos. Even if another man had taken over, there was no way that Man will fold his hands and watch the killings of his people going on... on a massive scale.

The war was more or less, a fight for "self preservation" of a Ethnic group... in this case the Igbos. With or without Ojukwu, the war will still have been fought, since the Northerners were hell bent on killing a particular tribe even after having gotten their revenge of a counter coup
You know in life revenge is most likely not equal to initial action

If I sit down and you slap me, I can either bone, slap back machette you or shoot you.

In World war 1, It was one person ArchDuke ferdinand that was killed and the whole world erupted.

Are you saying the response of American to 9-11 should be equal to the initial action ?

But unfortunately, the Islamist jihadist homo-sexu.al north and tribalist Yoruba saw it as politics .

The coup plotters were young enlighten men whom ha acquire foreign degree with a more open and broad understanding of how our nation shd b and strive for, hence their quest for immediate change.

Yoruba, hausa Ibo, Ijaw, isoko, Fulani, Berom, Efik everyone

Its the moronic tendencies of Igbos that would make dem think its one person or group thats holding the country down. Or why havent your eastern caves turned to New York or Dubai, why does every healthy Igbo man still run away to the North or west?

macjive01: yes, a few men of igbo extraction kills corrupt leaders whom they though were holding the country down. Remb these igbo dont hold any office in igboland , neither were they leaders in any shape or form. just the mere fact they are from igbo.

so if i may ask, does it mean as diya plotted the coup to over throw abacha, had he in the process killed Abacha would that mean yorubas killing hausa leaders ?
and hence a justification to commit genocide against innocent children and women ? pls answer me.
If some Yoruba soldiers killed Hausa politicians, And a Yoruba man became president and didnt prosecute them then the Hausa have a right to react anyhow and kill Yorubas like they want.

Go and read about what caused the First World war

Archduke Ferdinand was killed in Sarajevo by ordinary miscreants The Austian-Hungarian leaders held the whole Serbia responsible and war broke out which led to the death of million.

Thats where you Igbos get smarter than yourself. So its only Non Ibo Politicians who were corrupt and needed to be killed?

It was only non Igbo politicians that were holding the country down?

Genocide against women and children? Thats why I insist there is a daft gene in Igbos generally. Do you think war is PS3 or mortal Kombat?

Ita war and people die. If the useless peadophilic coward who led you to war didnt think women and children would be victims then he should be fed to pigs. Go and check how many women and children were killed in WW1, Go and read what Soviet soldiers did to German women and children in WW2. Go and read the fate of Iraqi and Afghan women and chilren. Go and read about women and children in Vietnam.

Reduced wages of 2m per season for 5yrs

Bayern reportedly would meet the buyout clause so we dont have to negotiate with Bilbao and Martinez shaves the 10m off personally

But Akintola referred to "igbo alakuko" in 1965.

What's the connection between igbos and akuko(hen), back then?
Some people saw way into the future and knew them for who they are from way Back. Akintola described Ibo as I Before Others.

Awolowo, Balewa, bello, Akintola everyone saw through the Igbos as a very useless people.

Do you know what Shagari said about Azikwe?

Zik like many African rulers had a major character and integrity problem. At the root was his self-concept or self definition(the way one sees oneself). He saw himself in his own words as a "Beautiful Bride" for the highest bidder as well as indispensable. The former executive president of Nigeria, Alhaji Shehu Shagari, a mild mannered man captured it well when he told Zik during the 1979 election campaign: "when you switch husbands one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight times, you are no longer a beautiful bride but a harlot." Zik was a weather vane-go where the favorable wind blows. A "Beautiful Bride" mindset is exactly the opposite of the leadership mindset. In 1954, the Sutton-Foster Inquiry found Zik's conduct below what was expected of an honest and honorable person.
