Beaf: Awuf oil money that awuf luv'n phucks and purveyors of indolence and parasitic tendencies love so much.As long as he doesnt steal the money, And its Osun States right according to the federal constitution Instead of flying to Jamaica to dance raggae like your moronic boss, or going to trinidad to speak through his asss, he chose to pay the elder in his state stipends In summary, on behalf of Osun elders, Aregbesola, may you live long |
^^ Where does money for paying Salaries, pension, contractors, foreign trips etc come from? |

Nigerian-born athletes visit Team Nigeria August 3, 2012 by Pius Ayinor 11 Comments A huge number of Nigerian athletes representing other countries at the Olympics and those who are living in the diaspora are visiting the Nigerian secretariat at the Games Village as they try to identity with their roots. A star athlete for Britain Christine Ohuruogu who was one of the numerous visitors said in British jersey, “Yes, I am a Nigerian. My dad told me I am from Imo State. It’s incredible. I love Nigeria.” Marilyn Okoro added, “I came to identify with my people. I wish you the best of luck in the Olympics.’’ Another from the Team GB Abiodun Oyepitan was not left out, “It’s lovely to be here. You get good feelings being around your people.” There has been also scores of Nigerians who are volunteers in the Olympics visiting to the Nigerian centre to identify themselves and speak the language. They ask numerous questions ranging from politics to the state of the nation and of course, sports in Nigeria. One of them asked, “Is there stable light in Nigeria now. I came around with my dad but we had to change our date of departure because I was scared of darkness.” http://www.punchng.com/london-2012-olympics/nigerian-born-athletes-visit-team-nigeria/ |
basher: I did my nysc in Ekiti State, Ijero to be precise. Was bored outta my head. Nothing happening there & place was dead after 6pm. All we did was drink lots of "emu", smoke weed, f*ck, eat bush meat, f*ck,.. Lovely people though & quite laid back. I was first amazed that it wasn't an issue to go to babe's house & ask her parents after her, so long as you greet properly and show respect.Which State are you from? Thats how it is in most yoruba towns Once you are respectful, No problem |
felifeli: Never mind. I will still continue to help you pray that those witches will stop eating your brain. In summary What you have said so far is thatWherever he gets funding for the numerous govt expenses . Thats where he would get funding for the program of making the senior citizens of osun better. Are you too daft to realise how senseless your question is? Do aged ppl in nigeria get their pension? if they do How do they get it? When you find that answer, Then thats the same way O'elders would be paid |
Great ppl Great State Up Ekiti |
Break her jaw sef |
good |
felifeli: Oga you get problem o. He be like say you done escape Yaba left again becos na pyjamas and slippers you wear come this place.if I talk more than this now you go start fldey curse my father. Simple qustions you no gree answer since morning and na long ting as usual. Where will Aregbe find the money ?The same place where they get money to go on trips abroad, sponsor hajj and jerusalem pilgrims, Go on trips to london, Dubai, Trinidad etc, the same place where they get money for brand new cars from. felifeli: What criteria will be used for giving - is it if you carry ECN card ?The criteria is being aged and without income, I dont know if ECN card is a criteria to being aged in your own village. felifeli: IF aged person cannot go collect will the money be taken to their homes? If so how do you ensure that bonafide disabled aged are getting the money and not ghost-aged ? Chikena. Over to you sir. Just try to answer a question in civil manner for once without bindind demons of your fathers house. O ga oHow do aged people in America get their money? Do they take it to their house? How do aged pensioners get their monthly pension do they take it to their bedroom? |
No problem nau Gomez - Mandzukic,Pizarro Schweini - Kroos, Muller Rafinha - Boateng (Dante moves central) Alaba,Contento - Lahm Abi ki lo ku?? Do you see us still buyin tho?
I have a feeling we would still make a late move for Martinez or another Central midfielder. |
Obowunmi is in love. Those advising him, how many ppl know the meaning of his ID |
We want to believe that Chief Edwin Clark was quoted out of context, but if indeed he did say what was credited to him, we are forced to accept the conclusion that on account of his age, his senses have since departed him. He needs our empathies and not sympathies. We have since known Chief Edwin Clark to be loose cannon in public discourse. He deserves our pity. OUCH Like retardeen jonathan |
kumbalo: As much as I believe GEJ is not doing enough on the BH issue, I think IBB spoke out of guilty conscience. Arrest of a former president cannot be made without concrete evidence. IBB should please come out and condemn BH. That’s not so difficult…in just few sentences by so doing he would have proved Edwin Clarke wrong and there would be no need for this long big grammarAbacha arrested Obasanjo and yar Adua without any evidence. Let retardeen jonathan arrest IBB if he believes he is culpable |
You mean the same Ebonyi state where people still run about with bow arrows? rotfl. Ekiti is a new state, give it time ppl.
Are you saying the below is Ebonyi https://www.ebonyionline.com/image-files/yy-okposi-palmwinetapper2.jpg http://www.ebonyionline.com/zzz-photos-okposi.html |
Kobojunkie: I am saying don't compare the US system which is based on tax funding with a system that is not now based on tax funding, unless you can clearly show that the money to fund this is coming straight from tax payer funds. dayokanu: I think this is a good venture. There are already leakage in govt in Nigeria where officials steal public funds. No state in nigeria has ever declared a budget surplus at anytime. So if within the provision of the state budget they can fit in the benefit programs for elders into it then its welcome If they dont pay it, the money would most likely have gone on some needless travel, Paying political jobbers etc. |
Beaf: Egbon mi Aregbe, where is the money coming from na?From govt coffers. The same place where money for senseless trips to jamaica, trinidad, Owambes, Legislators wife conference, Exotic cars from Coscharis, Australia trips etc come from |
Kobojunkie: The US did not start the program for elders BEFORE the tax project. The one came before the other. No comparisons on that.Enlighten me on how this happened. Are you saying people started paying taxes for the Elderly program before elders started getting benefits? When did this start cos I have gone on the Social security website and didnt find anything like that http://www.ssa.gov/history/ssa/lbjmedicare1.html |
felifeli: How much of this money go lost in the pocket of "ghost elders" , considering that most who need these homes cannot leave their homes to go collect from wherever ?Senseless posts as usual. How do pensioners collect their money? When elderly people in other countries are paid their benefits, how do they collects it. if you want to criticize, think deep and come up with something sensible not this putrid tripe you are posting |
aryzgreat: all i see here are cultural pictures of a royal father, borrowed picture of FUTA senate building in Akure, some mushroom buildings. Is dis wot the so called "fountain of knowledge" can boast of? BTW Fayemi is not doing first year as other ACN states, he has been in govt since. Please we need to know wot the so called sophisticated progressives are doing in their respective states. I av been to Akure and Ekiti, Akure have shown some signs of improvement and i can categorically state dat among all the states created in 1996, Ekiti is d worst! without mincing words. ACN governors should wake up from slumber and show us why they are better than PDP.You mean you havent been to Ebonyi state that looks like a forest reserve or bayels whose Governor Alams cant even sleep in it |
Beaf: What is Aregbesola doing to promote development and employment so that families can look after their elderly with dignity?Another senseless post from the stable of the mad cow. In countries where they have provisions for elders, is it because they dont empower their family members to take care of them? If you are interested in the billions thrown into it, Contact the state accountant and auditor |
Kobojunkie: Please do not compare this to the US scheme because in the US the scheme is backed by taxpayers, but in this Aregebesola case, we are yet to ascertain the source of the funds abeg! Even more in the US people pay into this plan. dayokanu: I think this is a good venture.Did you see the part in bold? In Nigeria Governors get security votes, what exactly do they do with it? nothing except blow it on parties, senseless Legislators wife trips, and settling party faithfuls and godfathers. Also you saw the part I suggested taxing people into the pool and the ppl too benefit when they grow old Helping the elderly is a thing every sensible govt should look into |
Kpac: Pastor and PoliticsExcellent. This guy must have the record number of likes on nairaland |
asha 80: are the civil servants farmers?what if one has not farmed before? They would learn. farming isnt rocket science. Most people they employ to banks have never been bankers before but they learnt |
I think this is a good venture. if he can channel some of the previous leakage in govt into this. Or in the future people can be taxed and contribute into the pool which they too would benefit from when they retire In the US there is a similar scheme to ppl over 65yrs I think |
Which one you want secession or Presidency |
kingoflag: Bloody, slime slurping, venom drinking, 3rd world beast, once you go against their sick views you're labelled a tribalist. Aren't you fuckas tired of playing the blame game?! Aren't you sick of whining?! Aren't your tired of coming off as biyyxxtches all the time instead of the men you claim to be and always want everyone to regard you as?!TOUCHE. Excellent points |
Onlytruth: ^^^And whats the number of people whose blood are on your fathers hands Starting from Bello, Akntola, Okotie-Eboh, Balewa and victims of the civil war both in the midwest and in SW |
