There is now expected to be a summer clear out at the club with a number of players looking to be on borrowed time.

The Telegraph says: "several prominent first-team players are now playing for their future, including Theo Walcott, Tomas Rosicky and Andrei Arshavin, whose contracts expire over the next 18 months but have yet to secure new deals.

"Arsenal will also consider offers for Marouane Chamakh and Sebastien Squillaci, who have barely featured this season, while other fringe players, such as Nicklas Bendtner, Carlos Vela, Denilson and Manuel Almunia, are finally expected to be sold."The players the Telegraph links with moves to the Emirates are: Cologne’s Lukas Podolski, Borussia Dortmund’s Mario Götze and the Lille playmaker Eden Hazard but they add that Wenger "knows that Arsenal would have little hope of competing for such sought-after players if they fail to reach next season’s Champions League."

Eljero Elia has had a stinker of a season at Juve and I dont think should make the Dutch 11

Also many of the Dutch top stars are not in top form

e.g Sneijder, Robben and VdV only exception is KJHuntelaar

How was the trip to Backwater Europe last night.   cheesy cheesy

Did your earnings for the win cover your Okada and danfo expenses?  huh

I heard some Ajax fans even wanted to beat your fans in Holland

You know when Butter boys go to Pako school, the Big pako boys go first beat am. Anyway Welcome to Hell
Business › Re: Where Are The Farmers? by dayokanu(m): 6:38pm On Feb 17, 2012
TKB i know say one day you go make me proud  cheesy

First thing. Have you thought of a location? where is the location, have you secured the location? What type of rice are you looking into cos I believe some thrive more in swamp while some in dry land.

2nd thing Capital: I dont need to tell you that you SHOULDNT finance this with personal cash, there are inherent risks in business and you shouldnt take the hit fully. Stakerden would be a low Capital investment compared to this and every part of the Farming process is important, from getting the land, clearing, planting, maintaining the plants and harvesting/processing Every little detail must fall into place to have this result

Delay in rains for 3-4weeks might cause a whole hectare to fail. So I would strongly advice you spread the risk to others (mainly banks)

3rd point: Advise start pilot and expand gradually, "ojo ti a gun ko lan kan orun". believe me there are some attendant risk involved with any business that you would never have thought of.

I had a similar experience with businesses both in Nigeria and in the US. The Nigerian one is going to almost a year and we are still facing teething problems we never envisaged. In an investment of about 6million, I made my first 30k profit January ending grin grin

The US one is still in its infancy barely 3 months old, and still nurturing it and pumping money into it

I can share my experience if you want to know. But trust me start with small land and as you learn and grow you can expand

This your project isnt a 2-3yr hit and chop money scheme, Its more like a 10-20yr project which if you follow through methodically using all the skills you learn in business world, connection, favorable govt you fit dey rival Dangote.
Let me tell you, a time would come when you would almost blame yourself for venturing into it, even close friends and families would doubt your sanity for sticking with a "stupiid project" but stay strong have emergency cash pool, strong mind and willpower to succeed

Well we cant say its not true

I cam convince myself I am smarter/richer/taller/more handsome than Afam4ever but until we have official stats that would just remain my conjectures

All available facts at the moment still support the fact that SE states are low in population

Until that changes, Nothing would change

The way it would change is if an independent census is carried out by the SE govt or migration patterns from the SE change

How else do they play to the strenght of Torres aside from what they have been doing

They have sent him through balls, isolating him with defenders every possible position to score he has been yet he couldnt get any since September

Even his main competitor Drogba left town for almost 6 weeks where Torres has a free run and story remains the same.

Chelsea does not play to his strenght, Spain does not play to his strenght

What strenght? Is he Hulk Hogan?

^^ By official population, The SE is the least

By land mass the SE is the least

Maybe this is due to their migration pattern but the available facts remain that they SE is smaller both in land mass and population

Queen, For the record, I am NOT a housewife, Never have been & never will be; neither was my mother or my grandmother. I juggle my career, my business and my family commitments. Am I superwoman NO; There are many women in my position who do it day after day and they just get on with it. Some are even single mothers, so I even have the luxury of a helper.

Like I said earlier, There are some things that I expect my husband to do and somethings that I expect to do because we are different and better at doing these things. These things however are not written in stone and there is nothing stopping either of us from helping each other out

I just got back from a one week business trip to leaving the kids behind. My kids ate, had clean clothes, went to school and had their homework submitted on time and went to all their after school activities in my absence so my husband can hold the fort in my absense but what would have taken him one hour to do would have taken me 10 minutes to do. I am better at some things just as he is better at some things.

All said and done, there are some things expected of a woman and some expected of a man. God forbid If my child appears at school dirty and unkept then that is my problem and if my garden fence falls down in galeforce winds, then that is my husbands problem. The his and hers general responsiblitys I think is the norm all over the world.
Nooo Its impossible. Women who have careers cant do that its only housewives that can do that.

Maybe your husband is a white man cos Naija men would never do this

If Retardeen doesnt convene a SNC till he leaves office,
He doesnt resolve the derivation.
Does nothing about resource control,
Does nothing about amenities in the SS and
He leaves Nigeria in the current structure

Walahi it would take another 50yrs for the SS to see any respite

The next Northerner has the easiest job

Carry Edwin Clark, Asari and some guys put them in your cabinet settle them and the real people in SS continue to suffer.

The father and the teacher abused their office

I think the father should be dismissed from customs

Whats his job in the customs? and when he was given rifles and men was it to go beat up erring teachers in schools?

For violating his jobs code of conduct he should be dismissed.

The teacher didnt violate any State law, but he didnt act with discretion So I would say he deserves a suspension but on account of the humiliation meted to him by the Father, He should be awarded compensation from the father

You are really daft

coogar:
why do you think people say barcelona cannot beat stoke? andreas villash-boash is perplexed: how do i beat this team? how do you beat stoke?
no creativity at all apart from the set-pieces. ordinarily, defenders are taught to rescue the ball going to result in a corner kick, play it out of touch to result to throw-in. against stoke, it's better to concede corner-kicks than their throw-ins.

can messi do it on a cold, wet tuesday night in britannia stadium? the answer is a big no!
coogar:
what were you saying about arsenal's draw yesterday again?
you think you would come to the britannia on the opening day and win? not even barcelona would have gotten a win here.

Odechukwu Retardeen is very hopeless

After his regime if he can not liberate the people of the SS lets now see how what would happen later.

Has he resolved any of the agitation of his people?

resource control? SNC? development?

If Retardeen who claims he knows the problem of the SS and his fathers house is beside an oil well cant resolve the SS issue

Then you would be expecting, Alhaji, mallam from Kano to do that?

the same way we blame Northern leaders for Almajiri problems would be the same way Retardeen would be blamed for SS woes if it continues beyond his term(s)

I cannot fault that line of question. All I can say to that is GOOD QUESTION. cool

I hate complaining all the time.
It goes back to what I have always said. SE should embrace APGA that would fight for their interest.

In 2006 for example all SW states except lagos were under PDP and none of the governors could challenege the census figure or even run a parallel census maybe in conjuction with a UN body like UNDP(to give credibility)

The other SW governors didnt want to challenge their own party which is at the center and whether you like it or not PDP wuld always cater to the dictates of his owners

I have only been to Enugu once some years back when the ANAMCO plant there was my client and I didnt stay beyond a week

National population Census states otherwise.

Or do you expect revenue allocators to judge by the amount of people they perceive lives in those places?

Its left to your governors to do something.

In Lagos I remember the last Census, Tinubu conducted a parallel census so that the govt figures wont deviate from it significantly

Its either corrected from the Census or it stays that way
Politics › Re: South East Gets Lowest Allocations Compared With to the North, Why? by dayokanu(m): 8:44pm On Feb 16, 2012
If you also see how vacant most SE states are you wonder what they need the allocation for

land mass hardly feature as a consideration cos massive states like Taraba, Adamawa, Nasarawa(each of them bigger than the whole SE region) etc are still in the lower rungs of states

If you take out oil producing states, the allocation goes like which almost mirrors the Population by state

Lagos
Kano
Katsina
Oyo

1 Lagos State 9,013,534
2 Kano State 9,383,682
3 Kaduna State 6,066,562
4 Katsina State 5,792,578
5 Oyo State 5,591,589
