andromida:
Yes a man can marry a jobless woman if he feels he is man enough besides wives are never jobless they take care of the kids and keep the home hospitable and really its a man's world remember?
Below is what the bible says

A wife of noble character who can find?
She is worth far more than rubies.
11 Her husband has full confidence in her
and lacks nothing of value.
12 She brings him good, not harm,
all the days of her life.
13 She selects wool and flax
and works with eager hands.
14 She is like the merchant ships,
bringing her food from afar.
15 She gets up while it is still night;
she provides food for her family
and portions for her female servants.
16 She considers a field and buys it;
out of her earnings she plants a vineyard
17 She sets about her work vigorously;
her arms are strong for her tasks.
18 She sees that her trading is profitable,
.
and her lamp does not go out at night.
19 In her hand she holds the distaff
and grasps the spindle with her fingers.
20 She opens her arms to the poor
and extends her hands to the needy.
21 When it snows, she has no fear for her household;
for all of them are clothed in scarlet.
22 She makes coverings for her bed;
she is clothed in fine linen and purple.
23 Her husband is respected at the city gate,
where he takes his seat among the elders of the land.
24 She makes linen garments and sells them,
and supplies the merchants with sashes.
25 She is clothed with strength and dignity;
she can laugh at the days to come.
26 She speaks with wisdom,
and faithful instruction is on her tongue.
27 She watches over the affairs of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
(AKA African Magic)
28 Her children arise and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “Many women do noble things,
but you surpass them all.”
30 Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting;
but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised.
31 Honor her for all that her hands have done,
and let her works bring her praise at the city gate.

Pls note verse 23.the hubby is already in a position of power and authority and as such can enable his wife to be a woman of noble character. Don't get it twisted
Should we quote Yoruba bible for you?

The bible you love to quote states the below

She selects wool and flax
and works with eager hands.
She considers a field and buys it;
   out of her earnings she plants a vineyard
17 She sets about her work vigorously;
   her arms are strong for her tasks.
18 She sees that her trading is profitable
She makes linen garments and sells them
27 She watches over the affairs of her household
   and does not eat the bread of idleness.(AKA African Magic)

So Any woman who is not doing this but rather waiting for her husband to come and feed her is transgressing the rule of God

davidylan:
nope. Read it again, the husband is respected BECAUSE of the industry of his wife.

So what you're saying is if your husband is not in a position of "power and authority (i.e. has money) a wife cannot be of noble character? she cannot sew for her family, provide food for her kids and engage in business to supplement family income? she has to wait until verse 23 to do all that is required of her from verse 1-22?

women sef.
Quoted for truth and commonsense

and what is wrong with that? too many lazy women conditioned to being taken care of from cradle to the grave. Many women get married as undergrads and no one sees it as a problem since it is taken for granted that a man will feed, clothe and house them. I think its high time men started setting criterias for the type of women they want . . . if you dont have a house, a car and a good paying job then i wont marry you too. 50:50!

Sure Aregbe is a governor

Ibori was a governor destined for Jail, Uduaghan is combing the whole country for criminals to empower, Definitely Jail awaits him too.

ODEughan might have a job for Osisikankwu and Anini sef.

Just like Odechukwu retardeen empowered the likes of Boyloaf, John Togo, Henry Okah etc

Sure no one like Aregbesola

Delta State that produced people like Pat utomi, Tony Elumelu, Jim Ovia, The Ibru Conglomerates etc

That state surely should be top 3 in the nation in terms of Human resources

But being ruled by James on-the-run Ibori Passed over to his comrade/cousin in thieving Emmanuel Uduaghan now ruled by suspected murderers What a Shame embarassed embarassed embarassed

I weep for Deltans cos I know what potentials this State has. cry cry cry

Even the neighbours from Bayelsa after surving the plague of Kleptomaniac Alamieyeiseigha, his looting deputy and wife Odechukwu Reetardeen Jonathan are now in the hands of Timi Sylva

I know Bayelsa is Classified as an Educationally Less developed State so might be excused on the Human resources aspect

But Delta State that used to have the highest cut off in National Common Entrance of those days Now changing batons from Thief Ibori, Uduaghan and now murderers.

Maybe if Anini was alive he would have had a shot at Asaba Government House, Monday osunbor too at least Ibori and Uduaghan are no better

Aregbesola can travel out and come back to his State while James Onanefe Ibori has become a fugitive running from Dubai to London.

Is Uduaghan the greatest rogue in Nigeria not the governor? Like Governor like Commisioner

Do you expect anything more from Iboris protege.

A state that has a former governor cooling down in jail What a shame.

Delta state deserve better than all these PDP nonsense.

Maybe they would do well to get Chinese contractors in Delta state as well.

What a slap on the illustrious sons and daughters of Delta that their leaders are either thieves, Pickpockets and Murderers

I knew you'ld say something about it. I no know wetin AW do u! Did he by chance reject to coach Bayern?

The EPL was a two team competition before bought over Chelsea. They still didn't win it with Ranieri. Ranieri + more money couldn't deliver the title. Mourinho + money delivered it twice. Chelsea spent outrageous amount of money buying players in those first three or so seasons of Abrahamovich, sometimes even spending above 'market price' for a player.
Same thing with City. They had more money but didn't do well with Hughes => more money doesn't necessarily win titles. They have brought in Mancini who has improved on Hughes' performance but is yet to win the EPL => they prolly need a better coach. Teams like Liverpool and Spurs have spent more money + different coaches and are yet to outperform Arsene Wenger who has spent far less. You don't need a genius to tell you that bar Mourinho (who we are yet to test on a low budget in the EPL), AW is better than the rest of them based on team's performance in the EPL.

Any more questions? grin grin

You have not answered the question, What in Wengers records show that lack of resources ?

Was it lack of resources that made him a mediocre coach in the French league
Was it lack or resources that made him not get a job in Europe and took him to japanese league
Was it lack of resources that has made him the whipping team of almost every team in Europe
Was it lack of resources that was responsble for 2 CL semi finals in a life time and 0 trophies, when teams like Porto with leaner purses do better

Since she is intelligent she will still be able to discuss your office related issues. She can also wear the skirt suit or whatever and stroll to whereever she wishes to go.besides even working class women sometimes want to gossip about omotola and co.
So her own intelligence is to discuss Omotola and co? I have worked with women in some organisations before and a lot of them are very good, more dedicated to their work and great problem solvers. I now wonder if these kind of people have been locked at home by one man what does that portend for the economy.

^^ If not all women can be ambitious, then why should all men be ambitious?

Let them both sit at home and watch TV together when hungry open their mouth to the wind and fill it up.

If you are not ambitious, why bother waste your time and your parents money (Probably incurring loans) just to sit at home doing nothing.

Well for me, I find nothing sexier than a woman dressed for work, Imagine your wife in her skirt suit or work apparel its something to be proud of.

You both have challenges at work to talk about and help one another through

Husbands challenge: How to meet deadlines at work, Handle a nagging boss, How to get promoted, Make more money

Wifes Challenge : Finding who is prettier Omotola or Genevieve, Who is sexier Majid or Ramsey Noah, WHo husband is fatter neighbour A or neighbour B

Bill CLinton was Poor thats why his wife had to work as an Attorney  lipsrsealed

Michelle Obamas husband was poor that was why she had to work  undecided

All the women who are CEO's and top people in their career had poor husbands thats why they had to work  undecided

Grace Alele Williams first Vice chancellor in Nigeria had a poor husband that was why she had to work  undecided

WHo cares what you do with your money as long as you get out and go to work like responsible people do. Contribute your own to the upkeep of the family and whatever is left spend as you wish

What do you teach your daughters? or why send your daughter to school when she sees that moms career is just sitting in front of TV and gossiping with the neighbour on who is sleeping with who in the neighbourhhood.

You went to school studied hard, Got a degree possibly a 2-1 and your ambition is to monitor Genevieves life on Africa magic

Its the wifes responsibility to have kids? So what happen to couples who decide they dont want children? The wife in that case has no responsibility?

What happens before she has kids? What happens when the kids are off to school or independent and on their own?

Whats the full time job about being a housewife

1- Without kids what does she do from 8am to 6pm

2- With kids what does she do from 8am to 4pm when the kids are in school?

3 With kids who are independent, In boarding school or in Higher institution what does she do?

Or washing plates of 4 people takes 8 hours? Nowadays ppl have dish washer and washing machine and all thats needed is to load these machines so whats the Full time job a house wife does aside watching Nollywood and gossiping 24-7

The answer to your first question is, asides maybe SAF, Arsene is arguably the best coach in the land. Using the same resources, Arsene will win titles over the other managers. (very bold assertions) cool
However, what Arsene is not is a good title winning manager (at least in my opinion). What Arsene (and maybe the board see as priority) is not aligned with what the fans see as priority. So for instance, if there a potential world class player who may solve our defensive worries available at 10 million, Arsene will not get him so as to protect the growth of the younger defenders in the team.

Another weakness of Arsene is that he is too attached to some of his players which is why he gives them chances upon chances to prove themselves even when it is obvious that all they will do is to cost us points. There might be other reasons for this but my view is that he is too attached to them. That's why you'l hear them call him their 'second father' grin grin grin.
At the bolded.

This is like Saying if Chukwudi was born in America and has the same recources he would be richer than Bill Gates.

What in Wengers antecedents point to this? Pre Arsenal He has won just 1 league title in about 12years as a coach infact he was languishing in the Japanese league before Arsenal bailed him out.

E.g with Mourinho and his performance in Porto, With benitez and his performance in valencia, With AVB and his performance in Porto with van gaal and his performance in Ajax. But what do you have to back Arsene up?
