porka: Laziness!
When you are done with educating your children and they are successful will others who don't have the opportunity not tag you (and your children) as 'CABALS'?
Mentioning only a few people with pedigree to buttress a questionable hypothesis is an insult to millions of Nigerians who brazed the odds and became a success through their own efforts and the blessing of God.
Goodluck Jonathan, Tony Elemelu, Ayo Fayoye, Ali Baba, Cosmas Maduka and thousands upon thousands of hitherto ordinary people (and children of ordinary Nigerians) have risen through this same system and have become outstanding in their vocations.
You can't teach Femi Otedola who hire into his organization. He determines how to spend his money. There are other organizations with different policies from his. They reserve the rights to hire who they so wish. Many organizations with such 'elitist' policies have been ran aground by the so-called 'foreign-trained-super-employess/mangers' while several companies thriving even with what they have. Ultimately, the market will determine the fate of every business.
Go out and compete. You can't afford be intimidated even before you start. And don't attempt to teach hopelessness to young people. I think the thrust of his write up is for us not to buy into the usual attempt by the 'elitist' to use the masses to pursue their selfish agendas. It's typical 'Marc Anthony' type of politics..appeal to the sentiments of the plebs n mobs while pursuing his selfish ambitions. Same thing we're witnessing now with the APC/PDP, Biafra agitations while the masses cry |

Totally agree with the o.p.. The moment we realize it stopped bin about the country/populace but about power, control and ambition pursued using the vehicles of tribe/ethnic and partisan politics, the better.
This isn't about Biafra or the West or APC/PDP, it's just the reality I.m.o |

dammytosh: I am trying to understand what u are defending.
You are the head of family, u save money for a rainy day and your wife and kids said ,
"let us spend it, how will money just be there"
You spent and blame them.
Excess crude oil account was meant to warehouse the extra money we get from crude outside tthe budget price.
So go and read and understand before u defend I am not defending anyone/ no one But we don't need to be biased in our assertions. The governors pressurized, threatened, did all sorts, and with the connivance of the media n a lot of you, who argued on different fora for the sharing, got their way. It is grossly unfair and crass to turn around now to blame the then President, when he was merely succumbing to overwhelming pressure and overlooking the role the others played |

Gbawe: Nonsense. I am not talking of the 419 "Nigeria biggest economy in Africa after rebasing" type of scam that is merely abracadabra PDP is fond of deceiving Nigerians with. In real terms, the Nigerian SME sector is moribund and worthless. That is the reality you may not be willing to accept because you are a biased apologist of the PDP or GEJ. Do you know what vibrant and prolific SME sectors contribute to the biggest economies of the world to the extent they are called the "lifeblood" of those economies?
Bros it is Xmas eve so enjoy the day and leave out the 'achievements', always revealed in the end as fraud and scam, you guys are fond of crediting the PDP with. It's abracadabra wen it has to do with d PDP or GEJ but reality wen it favors APC/PMB. OK..... |

They applied what is known in democracy as political 'pressure'. It is a weapon used in NORMAL society.
You don't have to be a suicide bomber to achieve your aim in a democracy.
@ dammytosh.. this is your answer right here. Typically, the ringleaders of the sharing then, are the ones reaching out for the tyre n matches screaming'burn him'.. The beauty of the computer age is, it's all there @ d click of a button for those that need their memory jogged |

Excess crude oil account was Obasanjo's solution meant for a period like this.
They closed it and spent all the money inside the account.
We have not started probe at all. Dansuki is just the money Abacha stole that we recovered.
When the real probe start, ... Excess Crude Account was shared to all the governors and if I remember correctly, was one of the bone of contention the Fg then had with the governors. Let's not be so partisan we become selective in our memories and refrain from all the name calling.. It's Not about parties but the country. |

omeke12: abeg make una go sit down... am not an APC fan (check my posts to confirm that) but I really believe Jonathan almost ruined this nation...the worst he did was that he crippled the south politically (esp southeast and south-south) by allowing Jega distribute d PVC the way he did. ... currently in Nigeria, the number of registrred voters in kano and katsina alone is bigger than the total number of registered voters in south east and south south put together. .. so this new pro Jonathan's party, which country are they going to win an election even I. the next 100 years when buhari has made his relations everything that matters. Thank you.. I've been raising concerns about the profoundly skewed nature of the PVC distribution and it's future implications. The future outcome of subsequent elections have clearly been mortgaged out n ppl are yet to see that |

Freegift75: Last administration could not be trusted with the subsidy removal. It was glaring then and that was why we all protested against the removal.
But now we have new administration that the masses rely and believe. The leadership of this present dispensation is trustworthy and that's why we all support the removal.
Watchout, NLC will have no doubt but to support Pastor Tunde Bakare also has been whispering, echoing the removal for over three months now. They all know Buhari will see stealing as corruption.
No To Subsidy The subsidy isn't being removed, if I read it correctly. Kachikwu is talking about manipulating market forces while moderating subsidy payment. Whether it'll pay off is still left to see. One tin tho, can't remember the last time I got fuel@ 87naira. Dunno if d Hon. Minister is dissociated from reality |

Personally I have resolved to not have an opinion on this one because the level of disinformation in this dispensation is simply ridiculous. It's time, as the Bible says, for us to keep sentiments aside and reason together. We've so far heard of boggling amounts of monies(billions) stolen, far far above the country's budget. We've heard of ppl stealing in a day, what will make Bill Gates and Mark Zucherberg green with envy. Now, with this Dasuki matter, I expect that a case of this magnitude will be handled by the top echelons of the security agencies so it's quite dumbfounding how Every Aspect( purported confessions and all) of the investigation gets to be laid out in the papers. Are The security agencies now so porous?? Or do the rules/investigative principles no longer matter I don't see this going anywhere the way it's being played out or at best Dasuki walks with a slap to the wrists especially Not After the accomplices have bin given ample warning and opportunity to prepare themselves. Anyway...still#watchingmode |

raayah: Thanks for your input. You are what I call a BETA Male.
Let me give you an example - Take a look at Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija. She is the richest African woman in the world. She is happily married to Modupe Alakija for 37 years. Mrs Alakija is a business woman, she goes to work, meets important and successful men everyday. Most of these men are handsome, intelligent and even richer than her husband. Yet she comes home to her husband every night.
Do you know who an ALPHA MALE is? Mr. Modupe Alakija is. He has a wife that is at the very top of her game in the world, yet he is strong enough to lock that pussyy down for 37 years. He is not bothered that his wife meets with men who are better than him. He knows that he is worth more than that to Mrs. Alakija.
A BETA Male like you would prefer his wife to be locked up in the kitchen because you know that are not worth It. You are scared that if she goes out there, she will meet men that are better than you. Which is correct, you are not worth shiit and you know that. *#*#*F A T A L I T Y*#*#*#* |
