ddippset:For writing all what you have above here your case is irredeemable. So under PDP the level of pipeline bombing was less than what Buhari's govt experienced? So Boko Haram inflicted more damage under this govt than before? Did you also forget the flood of 2012 and the Ebola saga? But the govt then tried to manage the economy better so much so that the citizens did not suffer these level of hardship...not even with all what you people said about the govt been too corrupt and all the officials criminals, yet price of average goods and services were at the reach of average citizens. I don't even want to remind you of what became of almost of the govt officials after they left office, they are now high fliers globally. If I were you, I will take a little break, purse and think. But no you always allow others to think for you. |
Subsidybad21:Just listen to yourself and ask if you are really making sense ...go to the CBN and NNPC website and download the document containing the actual price of petrol per barrel during 2011 and 2012 and you will see the actual figure instead of the 100 dollar story to sold to you people during election, and uptil this time, people like you are still stucked with this story even in the face of obvious battering of the economy. The answer is simply Jonathan saw the future and knew the nation can not continue to sustain the subsidy, that was why he even held meeting with the governors then and introduced the SUREP program to see how the effect could be cushioned, but you lots forgot governors that got billions of naira on behalf of their various states and focused on him, abused, insulted, occupied and eventually removed his government. Some of you went ahead to abuse the minister of finance then, calling her a thief, but today she is WTO director general...at last the chicken has come home roost...why can't the government of today look at sustain the dollar at an exchange rate that is reasonable while it removes the subsidy, at least to reduce the burden on the suffering masses, while concerted effort will be aggressively made to address the refineries.. but no every effect and burden is on the masses. And you lots that brought this incompetence in 2015 are still coming online to make noise....I challenge you to post relevant certified documents here when oil was sold above 100 dollars between 2010 to 2015...when Jonathan was the president let the whole world see. |
Simplyleo:What piece of crap is this, was there anytime Wike mentioned ESN in his discussion with the COAS, who was on a courtesy call in Rivers State Government house? You see how some people are just bent on creating problems in this country using social media?….. Desist from this evil act. |
This interview was a response to Ameachi's outburst that he cannot descend so low to be talking to his employee. Wike was by employee so he said. Of all the arguments made here nobody remembered Ameachi's second term election who championed and executed the campaigns and logistics towards that victory. It was this same Wike, because that election was tensed given the fact that, Omehia contested that election under APGA's plateform and so many people wanted Omehia to return but the election was too hot for APGA to pull out anything from it. I can still remember then the campaign caption was " Ameachi 2011, YES I BELIEVE" and Wike then was also the campaign henchman. So sometimes I laugh at some comments on Nairaland concerning both men and their bickering to point that some persons that don't know anything about Rivers Politics will be shouting Ameachi made Magnus and Wike with really allowing both men to tell what really happened and the point to got to in there effort to secure that victory for Amaechi. The only thing is since he was the Governor so therefore he made them. My advice to everyone is that we should calm down. Is not Wike don't worry one day they might tell us what to did and who they met to secure that victory in 2007. |
Pure piece or crap and figment of imagination...no sane Nigerian group would support that young for any political post, not after his abysmal performance as a Governor. He should Better go and collect his money back. |
I challenge the APC to ensure they erect their own secretariate like PDP did, only then will you have the moral justification to say a thing about who started what, and did not complete it. Of all the problems bordering Nigeria in addition to some abandoned roads projects even in the city of Abuja, is a political party's uncompleted secretariate that you want us to talk. You better get your head straight because the level of malgovernance from this administration would soon hit you guys harder, Nigerians are languishing in hunger and penury and you guys are still pretending like everything is okay. Putting up uninteresting topic here and there. |
All these data boys and bunch of speculation called Journalism... Wike is not having rift with anybody in Rivers PDP...there was no trouble whatsoever in any Local Government Chapter of PDP as a result of the just concluded primary in the state. Those stakeholders who didn't get the chairmanship ticket where compasented with the slot of producing reputable vice chairmanship candidates of their choice and secretary to the council, in addition to many councillorship slots just to ensure there is peace in the party, just cross check this fact and tell me that LGA that you know that stakeholders are fighting dirty since after the primary. Even Ikwerre LGA that we thought would have been much an issue have been resolved... Wike might not be too good in Governance but I know that guy knows politics very well and understands that is a game that requires all stakeholders to be carried along.. for another information Tele Ikuru was never a card carrying member of APC, he refused to neither join APC nor have rift with Ameachi then as his boss, what Happened was that, when Ameachi eventually departed from PDP, he waited alittle while and came out on live television washed off his hand in a bowl of water and renanced his membership of any movement that, will lead to the removal of the first and only NIger Delta son that emerge as president. |
okeyglm:Has subsidy been removed? Mr. Supporter come out clean, you are supporting Buhari.....na all of us dey inside. A free market or deregulated sector will not have govt agency pegging price for marketers. |
Tell us your state let's see if there was no relationship whatsoever between the current Governor and the former, before you come to play this your justification game. Return the money to Delta State take whatever amount was used for litigation and administration prior to the arrival of the cash. we should stop all these illegalities in this country. Mind you another country returned this money to us, they had every right to claim, that it was looted and therefore withhold it, but no they thought it wise to return it to Nigeria, it is now here in Nigeria that we are bringing all these sentiments. Return the money to Delta State Period. |
post=99303665:The last time I checked, two ministries were mentioned...Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs and Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs. But you quickly jumped on the Niger Delta issue because you people have been jumping around Niger Delta issues on this faceless group insulting the people with all forms of dehumanising insinuations, and because nobody cares about you peoples' insults it has now become a norm, a little discussion you mention underdevelopment in Niger Delta whereas in terms of development the region is still ahead of your region in all facets, I challenge to Kent your region let's take an independent review of indices... please what do you have to say about the ministry of humanitarian affairs report, if no comment about, just stay off the Niger Delta issue until you are ready to comment on that. |
Ade3131:This your mind set is the beginning of greed, you don't take greater chunk of what belongs to someone, give him/her miserable paultry and then turn back to ask the person what he is doing with the paultry....stop this nonsense...one thing is sure e go shock Nigeria one, when some group of generation will rise from Niger Delta and demand for total control of their God given resources, then the country will either leave them alone or use war which might either work or back . |
Rest in peace Jasmine....my condolences. |
This is a fake news and have been debunked by the state publicity secretary of the party. Punch need to verify their source before going to print. |
35824L:Because Naira land is a faceless forum some of you think you can just come here and begin to make some unguided ulterances, tell me your state let's make comparisons between yours and Rivers State in relation to the level of cultism. The election you people were writing nonsense about on media, held in some polling units conclusively while other units witnessed some pockets of violence that hindered the smooth conclusion of the poll. Sometimes you people stay far away from Rivers State and begin to report negative news about the state while we that work and live here does not even witness it the way you people report it. |
Rest in peace Ma. |
Happy birthday icon. |
Cargoed:I think is still functional, though now known as Indorama....a product of public private partnership. |
Oga we know this is your hubby, but remember your work does not involve all these unnecessary ass licking, your work is suppose to be officially and anything concerning the smooth functioning or anything hindering the smooth execution of presidential functions not all these busy bodies from you. Imagine him explaining the main reason why the pegeons didn't fly as if he has been a pegeon before. |
galaxy2020:And there's no cultism of whatsoever dimension existing in your own domain? I greet you, please help me mention the name of that your state where cultism doesn't exist. |
REST IN PEACE MA. |
Racoon:Let me help you with another, in the case of Magu, the senate also refused to confirm his appointment, but Buhari due to personal and vested interest refused to listen to them, but today the same Magu is being hunted by the same Buhari. |
While I will support this bill based on precedence, and prevailing circumstances, I want to also state that, caution should be applied, such that, what the states should pay, should not be less than 80 percent of the national minimum wage, if not, states will be paying peanuts in the name of is what we can pay, according to available resources. |
johnmartus:You sure don't know what you are saying, go and cross-chech very well, how a minister is appointed, and how his/her programmes are being approved and implemented. |
EkelediliBuhari:Is been a long time you travelled that road, it was erosion that destroyed that part, due to poor and shabby work done by the contractor, and it was immediately fixed after the raining season, and there are so many bye-pass through that spot. |
This kind of skewed journalism is h6 we are where we are. I believe you joined this road thru the obirikwere bridge. This road was initially constructed along side th obirikwere bridge when wike was chief of staff to amaechi. He wike was fully involved thru his cronies in the initial work which failed within a few years but 5he bridge that was giving to a foreign concern stands till thi day and it's a beautiful piece of work. When wike came in as gov he reworked the road which he had eaten a large chunk of the money before. Next time either you report or you keep shut. My brother why don't you just type nice and pass, or better still just skip the news, why are you saying Amaechi awarded this road through Wike, when you know Ameachi never awarded that side of the Boulevard, rather focused on the other side leading to Location, Ameachi only wanted to construct the fly over interchange, which he only did....get your facts right, the Governor that awarded and started that road, but never completed it was government before Amaechi. |
Nobody is happy over the decision even the Governor, but my brother to be sincere, the attitude of all traders around that Rumuokoro area is so unbearable...now let me prove my point, go to Omachi Junction, where they are currently doing their business now, and see how dirty that place is, this was what they were doing until Julus Berger wrote to the Governor to help them. The question I want to ask you is, is it only in Rumuokoro that flyover is currently being constructed, so why always Rumuokoro?, This is to tell you that people in that area has something substantially wrong with their attitude towards the construction company and their work. I stay around this area, and I know how we were virtually finding it difficult to move by foot, not to talk of driving because of the activities of these traders, so we have to all endure it while it last. Mind you nobody is happy....I treck to my church every Sunday because of this action, but what do we do?, Instead of the construction equipments will fall on people let's endure, because when a diseaster will occur there now, they will say the govt has used people for rituals. |
gidgiddy:For you to have said Owaza is in IMO State, I just knew you barely know the territory so please and please stop whipping up sentiment that you cannot defend, no sensible Ibo man would hate Wike for curtailing what would've degenerated to inter-ethnic war in Oyigbo, you are tagging what happened as genocide, but forgot to take some thought on what would have happened had govt not looked for ways to stop the carnage. My brother/sister stop this nonsense of a write up or post, there is no Rivers Man that hates Ibo people, even Wike does not, a reason why he still has Ibos as part of his government, Wike hasn't declared for election yet, neither is it time for politicking, when the time comes we will know. There was no genocide whatsoever that took place in Oyigbo, infact what happened is even one of the reasons why nobody should engage in acts that would prompt the deployment of soldiers to your territory, because it comes with lots of damages and destructions. #Ka Udo Chia #letpeacereign. |
oz4real83:Is there any political party in Nigeria that is not facing self implosion? ...so why are you people sounding like is only party A that is having problem? Even APC is having a higher problem but nobody is celebrating it, the way you people are doing... |
Sir, this same you told us in 2014 on the heels of your defection that, Jonathan made you leave PDP, today the same you is telling us that he did everything to let you remain in PDP, and I trust Jonathan he will not join issues with you. |
Okoroawusa:Are you talking like Kogi is the first to adopt this ? Very pathetic of you...Over here in Rivers State this has been the case since 3years ago that LGA election was conducted... |
Do you know the level of insecurity in this state. Do we need these kind of archaic fly overs to start with? Education zero Healthcare zero No minimum wage for civil servants No payment of pensions Supports and encourage police brutality Supports and encourage touts Nobody knows the budget of river's state since wike came to office He does everything himself which has made his commissioners redundant. [/quote I was waiting for you to mention education Because that is where I serve... My brother ask your principal how much Wike gives him/her every academic session to support the school work popular called Impress ...also ask them how they received from him for grass cutting grass and school cleaning after COVID19 break. After the talk of the new minimum wage by the federal government, Wike was among the first Governors to add additional 10k across board to Grade level 8 step 4 work in the state, which is where I belong, I don't know how much he added to workers at other levels, this is not to say is enough, but I want to use this opportunity to ask you what that addition is called. Even the labour Congress that sold this crap to people is no where to be found, today we are witnessing massive deductions in our salaries to satisfy one of the request, which is their check-up dues, today non of them is talking about Wike not paying minimum because they have received there money and their secretariat reopened. On the issue of Penson, I have a father, uncle and aunty who are all pensioners, I want to prove it to you, without holding brief for this government, that they have been receiving their pension without delay, since 2015, if there is area where we are pushing for actions from him, is in the area of gratuity and promotion. So stop the lies, you are not the only person in Rivers State, play your politics with maturity, we all know is about vested interest, but respect another person,'s actions by telling it the way it is, not twisting facts to suit you. For your information, I am not a card carrying member of any political party, but am here to put it as it is, if you doubt me, I will send to you my pay slip, and also mention to you, the school where I work, to tell you how much Wike have been supporting schools in the state, aside the provision of infrastructure, which you could say that, he hasn't built much structures like Ameachi did. But in the area of funding, he is the only Governor since after the reign of Peter Odili to reintroduce the funding of schools, through impress to the principals to enable them keep there schools running even when govt is not there. On the flyover with inter-change at Obiri Ikwerrre, my bro, remember also that Ameachi finished that fly over without constructing the road that would have made it beautiful, which is the road leading to the airport, which Wike immediately constructed when he came into office in 2015. So my brother criticize small for non of them is perfect, allow him finish his own style of governance, when another person comes, he can shift direction and style towards another priority area, from there, collectively, we can achieve even development. #peace... Good evening. |
? Very pathetic of you...
