Maybe part of the issue was your brain wasn't totally into it as the girl is a friend rather than someone you feel for in a girlfriend way. IE the sexual attraction may not have been enough.

I attended a female coworker's wedding. She and the groom were both very young and very religious.

The groom began to sob as he was being lectured, and it could not have been more awkward for the entire congregation. We watched the father speak as if the bride had no control over her own life, and cause the poor boy to spend the rest of his wedding red-eyed and runny-nosed.

Honestly you should take a break from her and if she asks why, then mention that you don’t like that her phone is always prioritized when you’re with her.
