First it's important to note that there is DIAGIO which is GUINESS GHANA. GUINESS NIG PLC moving HQ to Ghana is simply to avoid high corporate taxes in Nigeria. It's even possible they the negotiated some tax exemption in Ghana. This means they would only now be paying VAT on their sale of drinks to distributors. Very sensible move if u ask me. |
Very strange. Is Jesus not the same prophet Issa in the Koran? How come he didn't already know Jesus? |
Its very treatable, but you need commitment. Use any anti fungal cream like FUNBACT A. You would need to use over months and stop having low cut hair. Its not really an infection, its just your hair unable to grow out and growing into skin. This causes irritation and once you scratch you worsen the situation |
None of Ned's complaints are properly criminal in nature. The police have no business prosecuting this case. The judge is another slowpoke. He should have struck out the case and ask that civil processes are rather initiated. |
The UAE would be the loser here. No inbound travel means less revenue for their businesses and resorts. On the other hand Nigeria gains when thieves can no longer travel to spend their loot. With European restrictions in place folks would be forced to vacation in Nigeria. |
Doesn't make sense to buy a jet engine plane for use in Nigeria. A turbo fan plane makes more sense for fuel economy and safety considering his airline can't hire qualified line mechanics and engineers. |
This isn't Ghana. Secondly it must be a regional airport where there is always little security, that small plane can't fly any sensible international route. |
I hope so, but don't believe it that much. Reason being a turbo fan aircraft would be heard from approaching giving the target enough time to scamper. Secondly this plane can't pack enough bombs for a good bombing raid. The only effective way to really bomb such targets is with silent drones or guided missile launches. These options would kill 90 percent of targets including commanders because they won't see or hear it coming. |
If these articles are current and not repealed then they would still be of no effect because the Constitution which is the primary law would make nonsense of it in its letter and spirit. The law was probably passed by a legislative batch which had a majority of morons as is typical here in Nigeria |
MY SIMPLE QUESTION IS... WHICH CHURCH MEMBER SAW HIM DRINKING IN BEER PARLOUR AND WHAT WERE THEY DOING THERE? Anyways, nothing wrong with pastor drinking in a pub. |
What phone are you using? It may be infected with malware that uploads your data at night to foreign servers. |
BLUE SMOKE means oil is burning, which also means engine compression is low. BLACK SMOKE means fuel is not been burnt completely in engine, mostly because enough oxygen isn't getting into the fuel mix, check your air filter or turbo charger. |
I hope not kidnapped by bandits whilst traveling. |
https://mobile.ghanaweb.com/GhanaHomePage/NewsArchive/Ghanaian-terrorist-detonates-suicide-bomb-pre-records-farewell-video-for-Ghanaians-1296319 Ghanaian born Fulani Abu Dajuma who joined ISIS a decade ago has blown himself up in Mali wounding French troops and civillians. More disturbing is his farewell video he made calling on his settler Fulani community to take up arms against our hosts in Ghana and replicate the chaos unfolding in northern Nigeria. |
You mean COWrency?? inoki247: |
This is happening in Ghana too. From next month all SIM cards are to be re registered with the ECOWAS card and IMEI of phone registered or else the phone won't connect to any cellular network. Maybe it's an ECOWAS security thing to tackle terrorism. |
This one is more than seed oo. He transplanted a whole tree. |
Very unfortunate but it seems he is rubbing his daughters bleaching creams. Money he has, but still has an inferiority complex. |
The DPO may be misguided, but the magistrate is a big FOOL for even entertaining the case. Which criminal law exactly was infracted? What is the basis of the alien charge? I bet he granted the tailor bail so he can go read up on his sitting. On another hand this case been entertained by the court suggests the DPO and the judge have some corrupt business allaince ongoing, so he is doing this to balance his IOU accounts |
Joke aside the bride fresh oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. |
Very useless countermeasure. In the first place Nigeria is on a lot of no fly lists so if even the airline landed in Nigeria they won't be getting any approved customers. After all, much of the traffic is Nigerian. The UAE ban effectively limited the business of any carrier flying that corridor. |
I have a feeling this accident was staged by the APC side to create a bad impression of the governor. The police are just collateral damage. No sensible assasin would ram a convoy from behind knowing the target is not the last car. |
Very sad. Ghana passed a law to regulate commercial weed cultivation for export and licensed use. Farmers are forming cooperatives to start. |
Very unfortunate that he should be arrested instead of supported to grow bigger. The world is waking up to weed biproducts. Even Ghana this year passed a law to allow for licences cultivation and processing of marijuana. Maybe they can release him to Ghana government |
Make sure your head rest or pillow is washed or changed daily. And stop bleaching so your skin can recover its balance |
Not surprised at all. The guy actually lives in Ghana and was on his way there when lockdown trapped him. Just wondering though what a Youruba man is doing in Togo ? |
rusher14:I know. And they are shipping now in addition to the factory they are developing in Nigeria. My point really is Nigeria doesn't consume much from Ghana. Rather Nigerians buy cheaper priced products for sale in Ghana. At the end of the day all of us are actually net importers from EU and China. |
Essentially the decision to rename the CFA, Eco is to publicise the proposed currency and create a groundswell of support from ordinary people. Yes, the CFA/Eco is still central banked in France, nothing has changed. What the francophone nations and Ghana are waiting for is the setting up of an Ecowas central bank. You would realise that Nigeria headquarters the group and currently chairs it. The current administraton is dragging it's feet, but in time there is every intention to sideline Abuja and make progress as was done in the Africa Free Trade Agreement signed recently. Nigeria may be the most populous in Ecowas, but definitely not bigger that the collective union. A quick study in light of AFTA would show that Nigeria numbers pale in comparison to Cairo and three other capitals. Now, to address, the politics of importation. Could you pause and think, before the border closure, WHAT EVER DID YOU BUY THAT WAS MADE IN GHANA, BENIN, TOGO or Mali? I suppose the answer is nothing. The reason us simple the multinationals like Guiness, Unilever, Cadbury and Nestle have factories in every country anyway and produce locally. Closing the border only affects ordinary peasant businessmen importing or exporting traditional food stuffs like coconut, ugu, crayfish etc. And more seriously Nigerians who do business in Ghana who import machine and auto parts from Lagos to stock their shops. Indeed, many of them are very grateful that since Nigeria opened the border to exports only, Ghana and other nations didn't retaliate by refusing entry. In conclusion, if you can't remember using a Ghana product before the closure, then it's not definitely not pinching anyone there. Nigeria would definitely overcome this problem post Buhar administration when more educated and exposed leaders take the helm. Happy New Year. |
Majority of trade between these two countries is actually done by Nigerians. Nigerians bring auto goods to Ghana to sell and also buy cheap products in Ghana to resell in Nigeria so as not to loose value in exchange. Now ask yourself, who smuggles goods through the designated border when there are lots of unapproved crossings? At the end of the day it's the legitimate ones who suffer, whilst smuggling booms. Typically, Ghana and Nigeria actually get the bulk of the goods from China and Europe anyways. If Nigeria is really serious about local industry, the sea port might be a good place to shutter. |
fratermathy:Ghanaians don't bleach. What's this whole thing about looking fair complexioned? Are Africans Caucasian? Abeg drop this inferiority complex |
David Brigidi, 56, former senator for Bayelsa Central has passed on this afternoon in the UK. Prior to his short illness he had built a big business group in Ghana with interest in football, hospitality, agric and of course Oil. He was such a down to earth man who carried himself with no airs. Sai, rest well.
