Na so o. As parents, we must make a conscious effort to ensure that our children don't lose our precious dialects. The western world is taking pride in the fact that their own local dialects are being internationalized while our own people are ashamed of their own language.

As a rule, in my house we speak Yoruba to the children and English from time to time

Sports › Re: FG Responds To FIFA Ban By Stopping N253 Million NFF Monthly Pay! by ddeola: 1:19am On Jul 16, 2014
Let these politicians leave the administration of sports to the professionals, we have said this long enough. The unfortunate thing in this case is that the so-called board are all government nominees, most of them wouldn't even go near the NFF without the support of the politicians and now, they don't want to dance to the tune of their sponsors. What an irony !

If our football will grow, if things must improve then the real professionals MUST come in and manage the business because football is a BIG business all over the world, NFF need to look beyond the meagre monthly allocation of the FG and start to do things professionally.

On the other hand, FIFA is led by CORRUPT ELEMENTS and this is not news anywhere. Blatter will fire Naija because we didn't support him when he was elected and we are not in support of his succession bid. Talk about corruption in high places, FIFA is one

No be today, Naija will surely come out better when the chips are down

Family › Re: Is It Ideal For A Mother-in-law To Move In With A Newly Married Couple?? by ddeola: 10:45am On Jul 09, 2014
If it's the girl's mother, then the guy is marrying two wives and if it's the guy's mum, the girl is getting into a competition with a rival. It has its own merits and demerits.

In all, mothers or should I say parents should allow their children enjoy their marriage by letting them be. Visits are good but living with them is not ideal.

Career › Re: Marketing Or Operations, Which Is More Challenging In Banking? by ddeola: 3:53am On Jul 08, 2014
Both have their own challenges but marketing keeps you on your toes due to targets, prospects, profit-making, etc and as a marketer you have the opportunity to learn more. Marketers are more confident because they interface with everyone vis-a-vis operation staff, other marketers, the ogas on top, customers, the general public, etc

God help all of them.

I hope Nigerians have learnt their lessons NOT to vote jokers into position of leadership again. Wetin concern news with terrorist? No be wetin dey happen people go spread. That means CNN, Aljazera, RTV, BBC, etc are all "sensationalising" Alqeda. What a trash !

God will surely deliver Nigeria from bad leadership and give us leaders who know what to do at all times, a government that even the most terrible terrorist groups in the world will never be able to confront. The Nigerian military remains one of the best in the world but where the government of the day don't have a clue and they are too goofy to ask for help, what can they do?

God save Nigeria.
Sports › Re: Enyeama's Error Cost Nigeria - Keshi by ddeola: 10:13am On Jul 01, 2014
Keshi should take full responsibility as the coach and stop the "nonesense". The boys have tried, that doesn't mean they couldn't have done better but it's over with this tournament for the team. Best of luck next time
