You will need to speak to your Uni to ask why the resumption date has changed, perhaps the intake for January is full but they should have informed you

Since you are for September 2023 intake, you won't be getting your CAS and applying for your visa until the session before yours is sorted
(January and May if applicable)

Hello house, I was offered admission and given conditional offer during September and I paid for the study deposit last week and today I was given unconditional offer but the resumption date changed.Before when I was given conditional offer course start date was January 23, 2023 but now when I got a email which states that I’ve been given an unconditional offer the course date changed to 18/9/2023.

Please what might be the cause of the change in the course date and what necessary step should I follow from here, thanks in advance for your optimum response.

Would your business be sponsoring you then??

It will be tricky with a business account and proving how you run your business, capital and profit divide and if your directors are happy to give access to the funds for studies ( this is me advising in extreme cases)

Alot of explanation to go into and clarify if the ECO is not satisfied

Since you are the sole signatory, it might be worth moving funds to your personal account

Yes it is possible but the criteria for the new course you choose may be different

Bear in mind that they may request for more documents if you change to certain courses

But overall yes, some Uni's even offer alternative courses to students if the course they are interested in are not available for certain sessions.

Please am already in the Uk but the issue is I have no work no business on my visa and it also appeared like that on my BRP which is hindering me from working because am a dependent.

Your wife can apply anytime

It's best to do so before applying for post study visa, and I will advise that the MA should still have sufficient time on left on his current study visa (ideally 3-6months)

The wife will be applying as a Dependant

Are your dependants from your previous marriage?
If so you also need relevant copies of court order to show who has responsibility for them, this is also usually in the decree absolute


If not, then submit necessary documents so your records with UKVI is clear

No please do not edit or cut out a part of your transcript

Some Uni's accept student copy and others don't

Do you have your certificate?and did you submit it?

When your CAS is out you'll know what is required for your visa application, while working on your admission, try to also get another transcript from your previous Uni

1. You don't have to attach your refusal letter, just state the dates and reason in the relevant section, they have your history to refer to if needed

2.Your study gap will be your activities since your last degree so technically from your Masters in 2015.Your employment letter if that is your activity till date should suffice

2. You don't need to write any letter, provide the evidence across the years you have dated till marriage, the list is endless ,pictures,bank statement, emails , investment or bills paid together etc, you could add a narration to your evidence if you want to

Just a quick one, I’m applying for my dependent visa and i got to the accommodation detail section where they asked where do I plan to stay,so I don’t know whether to use the school hostel address where the main applicant is currently staying or I should tell them I will be staying in an Airbnb till I’m able to find a suitable apartment for myself and my partner.
