You don't need to send your passport or any document to your dependant

Send a clear scanned from your end to and they should print it colored

You will also need to send a copy of your BRP, and any housing arrangements (rent contract) as additional documents if you wish

I have dependents in Nigeria and have applied for their visa but the dates I could find on tls is for assisted service, I have successfully picked a date for them but some of the documents like my international passport is with me in the uk. My question is can I send all these things to my dependents in Nigeria to take to tls assisted service as soft copy since the hard copy is with me.

Good Morning House.I'm the MA & applied with 5 dependants for a student visa. We all did our bio 7th & 11th of October. Got the BRP mail on 18th & 19th for the MA & 4 other dependants.One was missing.The collection mails came in for the 5 came in on 21st & I have still not recieved the BRP mail for the last dependant.I was advised to wait for the 15 working days to elapse before escalating considering I was blessed to have our application (self service for standard visa application) processed within a short time frame.What do you advise I do? Do I escalate immediately via phone/ email or do the escalation at the point of collection at the VAC? Do I need to wait for the 15 working days to elapse before escalation?

Study visa in the UK has restricted hours (20hr/week during term time and unlimited holidays).

In my opinion,this structure is not enough to pay your tuition fees and bills at the same time,that is why the UK ensures you have all relevant funds accessible to you during your studies and that is a key document during your visa application

You can make a colored copy of the laminated documents and take both the laminated and colored copy, the copy will be scanned and the laminated version looked at as original

It was possibly a glitch in the system

You won't be able to pay for IHS during biometrics

You will be sent a separate link to pay for it when assessing your visa application or even after that

Just have it ready so you pay immediately you receive the instructions.

Please email the Uni admission team and tell them the option you chose and confirm it is okay

Submit the 2020 registration documents as it is

You may include a cover letter to explain the difference and why it got registered late but that's your decision and completely optional

Sometime in 2005, after I got the certificate I went to laminate it but someone adviced I keep it that way as Embassies don't accept laminated documents.

So I kept it that way but started noticing that the passport photograph started fading and some of the subjects also faded then I visited WAEC office in the state were I reside and I was told that those who sat for the exams in 2004 and another year like that had such issues and I cannot apply for a new one.

But they advised I go back to the state where I sat for the exam to lay my complaints which I was considering before the information I received yesterday about the new way of getting an online copy of your certificate.

I appreciate the responses received on this matter honestly I'm grateful.

Tbh, this is a faceless public forum

Anyone can give stories, what I hope the OPs that asks the question do is to ensure this is backed by a UKVI policy document or history of repeated request/experience ( for e.g study gap)

If any advice is given without relevant evidence or government document then I will take it with a pinch of salt

That include advice from me, justwise, mimilyrics, giselle237 etc

Anyone can claim I was there, I signed the document I did this or that

The policy is your backup and that is what any government body works with(some of us are privileged to know and work)

If anything goes wrong you can fight with the policy not that XYZ said her cousins used etc

I hope people know and apply wisdom accordingly

I have schooled in the UK TWICE, that was why I was asking questions about academic progression. I did my first degree and first masters there and now, I’m going for a second masters. Both times, I submitted an affidavit. As long as your names are different, you must submit an affidavit. Stop misleading people.

My cousin did the exact thing and she used her uncle’s bank statement. If she was able to use her uncle’s bank statement I see no reason why you can’t use your brother’s bank statement.

As long as your first and surnames are consistent that is fine.The additional affidavit is peculiar to your Uni not a general rule
You are still in the application stage, you can't keep dishing out information you can't clearly back with relevant policy

There is a need for an affidavit as long as your passport is carrying different names from your other documents. I know you know a lot but you don’t know everything. I also used an affidavit the first time I was going there for a case like this. The school asked for it and I also submitted it to UKVI.

Your marriage certificate shows your maiden name which matches with your certificate

I assume most names in your passport are middle names

Keep your first name and surname constant in your application as with your certificate

Ensure the middle name you use in your application matches the middle name on your certificates

Is your brother sponsoring your studies?

If he is then the required amount should be moved to yours and you should be able to have access to your funds while studying in the UK

Yes you can but your brother must write a letter explaining the relationship he has with you and also making it clear that he will be responsible for all your fees in the UK. He should take the letter to court to get it stamped, sealed and signed. When his account is up to 28days, scan the letter, your brother's passport data page and his bank statement and send to the school. And also upload all your brother's documents when applying for visa. Make sure you have paid your deposit to give you a better chance. Only your brother's bank statement is enough if the money in his account is enough.

You shouldn't change your surname to cover an error in a document, you should correct the document to your surname

From what you have written the error is on your WAEC not your marriage certificate right? Because the surname is correct

Please what is the correct name on your passport?

An affidavit highlighting the error on your WAEC should suffice

Also my parent's actual name is Ogunyimika (which is in my marriage certificate) but I had to change to Ogunyinka due to the error in my Waec Result and I have been using that.
Won't it be an issue that I bear Ogunyinka and my parent are Ogunyimika?
