I got an unconditional offer, now at CAS stage and TB test is requested for CAS issuance (plus POF). Pls I want to know, is it necessary for one’s number of dependants to appear on the TB certificate and consequently reflect on the POF. Pls NOTE that it is CAS stage and not Visa application.

Pls I am a bit confused and clarity on this.

That's the reason we advise an extra day wait just incase

I did a rough calculation and had almost same value with you

Visa fee and IHS was not included

My thoughts are a good round up (17m) will help cover any jump in exchange rate and always keep your eyes in Oanda

I have just looked at the train option, you will have over 3stops if you use the train and I don't know how convenient that will be for you considering it is your first time in the UK plus luggages

My advise, National express starts running at 8am or perhaps earlier, can you wait it out till then

If you are exempt from providing evidence of maintenance(that is your employer has indicated they will cover your cost for the first month in the UK up to £1270) then you don't need to include your bank statement

2. I guess answer to No 1 as above deals with the rest of your concerns

I got my Temporary Worker sponsored researcher (Tier 5) CoS, and maintenance ticked (dependants included). Here are my questions:
1. While applying for visa, do I need to provide a bank statement showing my complete scholarship stipends (not necessarily holding for 28days)?
2. Will I need to show my bank statement at the UK point of entry showing the complete scholarship stipends?

I'm asking because I may use some of the stipends to process my dependants' visa and other miscellaneous spending. Thank you in anticipation for your response.

Yes they are stopping hard copy BRP and moving everything online


Your dependants end date should be the end date on your CAS 2027.

There's nothing to correct this is not an error

I heard it is because of the UK Gov intending move to switch to digital BRP (not certain though). My problem now is my dependent. He will soon apply for visa and on the IHS page, there is a question "What is their visa expiration date?" Should he use the date on my BRP (2024) or the CAS date (2027). Have you been working ? Yes or No

If you have then you can get a reference or recommendation letter from work.

If you choose not to disclose this information let your Uni know that you can't /don't want to provide the letter and they may perhaps suggest an alternative document for you

Study gap is usually 5years since your last degree

2. Visa is £363 for student and £490 per dependant

3. Maintenance (POF) for applicant outside UK :£1023*9 and dependant £680*9*no of dependants

4. Add tuition of £12500

5. Use Oanda to convert to naira,here's the link

That should give you the sum, you can post your figures and people on the thread can confirm

IOM expires in 6months
Also IOM address will carry Canada as a location not UK, so that might be a concern

If you can amend the details and use it before it expires then that's fine, if not then you will need a new one

That letter will need to come from the bank stating the IT issues with evidence

My thoughts are there is still time to correct this and the OP should try to do so since it is still at CAS stage

I know someone had almost same issues but at visa stage and towards the end or so, I think she was still successful but it's a big risk to take

No need for NYSC and employer reference,there are no gaps to cover

No one can predict the outcome

Paying for priority doesn't necessarily mean you will receive your decision within the stipulated time hence the reason why NSF like this is sent

He should be patient and chase up if he hasn't got an update after 15days so they can escalate it

You won't need a TB test and POF

Just visa and IHS payment which you know where to find when it's time to apply

I want to please ask that how possible is it to apply for another master on completion of the first Masters programme without coming back to Nigeria to process the visa and tuberculosis test. For example, as a student of Jan 2023 admission planning to apply for Jan 2024 also.

I made a mistake in imputing number of applicants which is meant to be for two people, i put one person inside.
After cancelling and trying to rebook with dependent, it says i still have an active appointment.

Tried their hotlines to explain this but no response, even reached by mail and no response still

Please what other methods can i use.
Can i go ahead with the payment while i select our preferred date and notify the IOM by email

Bear in mind that UKVI can request for same bank statement or an updated version at any point during your application

Was it the same scanned copy you used during your admission process?

You can use same for your visa application

If you can't find the original before your enrollment at Uni if your visa is successful then you need to get a police report and certify your original copy as true in the court

It's a big risk to take hopefully there are slots available before your biometrics and there are no concerns from the TB test

2. If this is a first time application and the requested documents has not been provided before then select No and provide the documents during your self or assisted upload

TB test hasn't been done yet and since he'd be traveling from the east to Abuja, we thought to do all together
So I'd get biometrics date and adjust tb test booking to come before the biometrics date
