If they are applying the same time with you then it will be POF for all your dependants if not then just yours

The POF can be in their father's account, I assume he is also applying as your partner dependant

If yes, you need to get this duly corrected from NYSC( also important if needed in future)

After much calls and mails sent to ukvi and yet my passport wasn't moved to the VAC, I went to the VAC last Friday to try my luck, I was told that my passport is not with them.
I left there with heavy heart cuz of the disappointment, on my way going back to my home state, my school mailed me that I need to defer my admission to January which means I have to request for another CAS.
But up till now, UKVI has not released my passport and I'll soon need it for documentation (though I have the scanned copy of it to apply for CAS)
What should I do?
I'm in a dilemma

Yes you can apply without them,please state them in your application where applicable and they can apply for their visa when you are ready

2. They can join you as soon as possible, you have to ensure your dependants are with you prior to the end of your studies and before you apply for your post study visa (PSW)

3. Same rules will apply for POFs,IHS, and visa fees. You will have to calculate the figure yourself when you are ready to make the application as this could will be based on when you make it

If you also check my previous posts, you should know that I only advocate marriage for dependant visa.

Also, some marriages are arranged some cultures and tradition like India and Pakistan. Arranged does not mean sham. If you need more clarification, go to google.

Some marriages does not involve courtship because of some religious beliefs to prevent fornication. Some involve marrying cousins like in most Asian countries.

UKVI are aware of all this multicultural and religious legislations.

Stop thinking you must do courtship for an efficient and genuine marriage. That is the scope most guys use to have free sex and no wonder why most guys use and dump so many ladies and becoming baby mamas with no value and self-worth.

The emphasis on dependant visa is ensuring your marriage or relationship is still subsisting.

For married couples, submit your marriage cert, pre and post wedding pictures, whatsapp and facebook communication evidence and other proofs to show that your relationship is subsisting.

The 2 years rule only applies to the unmarried ones.

The 2 years evidence is also applicable if u are in the UK and desire to apply for leave to remain.

For married couples, you only need evidence your marriage is subsisting and marriage certificate. There is no timeframe as some religions do not permit courtship.

With only marriage certificate, pictures before and after wedding pictures, evidence of honeymoon, Whatsapp and Facebook picture and communication evidence, hotel staying address e.t.c . The dependant will surely get successful visa application as demonstrated in this forum and others.

Yes you can use your BnB address but confirm with your host if you need that to receive documents or letters

Well, an idea of your MAs school, course, how long they have been there etc, basic questions you should be able to answer as a dependant. I have seen border patrol officers ask the kids to confirm who they travelled with and most importantly your POF evidence

Unfortunately your relationship is too young to qualify as Dependant partner

It has to be a relationship of minimum 2years

You will need to provide certain evidence to show you have been together randomly selected for over 2years

So it could be bills, bank statement, investments, tenancy agreement etc

UKVI will verify what needs verification and they know how to do so

Yes you can include your business as a study gap evidence

If you can still update your CV and show the month/ year as self employed, registered business trading on XYZ so it matches what you supplied as CAC

If you can't it should be fine

Everyone, please be very vigilant especially if you have gotten a decision but it's taking longer than usual to get your passport back. I know they will tell you to wait 10 working days after getting decision before you will get your passport but THAT IS NOT NORMAL! We all know it doesn't take that long to get your passport back. People that get a decision on the 13th working day usually get collection mail on the 15th working day.

Today made it 10 working days after decision/brp letter and I hadn't gotten my passport. I called British High Commission Abuja customer care and the staff that took my details called my mobile line later that night and was demanding 50k before he could track my passport for me. I did my bio since the first week of August so, the past 8 weeks have been from one battle to another. Luckily, my friend told me yesterday that she had a family friend in BHC so I quickly gave her my details. The feedback I got was that my passport had basically been abandoned! UKVI didn't even bother to inform BHC to print my visa. It was my friend's family friend that sent an email to UKVI and they finally approved it that same yesterday. My visa was printed and was dispatched by DHL today!!! Due to their negligence, I have already missed a lot in school and I will still miss classes of next week and a bit of upper week because one-way flight tickets for this coming week are showing 2M and above.

All I'm saying is that be vigilant! It's not normal for our passports to just be sitting in BHC office collecting dust. Infact, if it's taking longer than 3 days after decision, start sending emails and blasting them with calls. BHC o, UKVI o, all of them are incompetent!!!

You can change a few notes via bank to get you sorted upon arrival , hold the rest of your bank statement for the balance if requested at POE

Another thing is to request your bank to allow you have access to your debit or credit card in the UK

I have submitted my application preparing for my biometric next week, I filled my spouse details and while filling the form i didn't see any section for dependant within the main applicants form. But after that i submitted dependant partner form and child dependant form with consent letter for both finance and child support. As the child dependant were not mentioned in the main applicants form is it a problem? if yes, pls what is the solution. i have submitted our application and booked for our biometric.

Because you don't have your passport which is a key documents for your admission and visa process I will advise you follow your plan for Sept 2023.

Then you can wait till you get the new passport and then start the admission not with the expired one
