I only submitted a cover letter from my company explaining my traveling and I didn’t submit any account statement or any other document

Kindly note - I have been given 6 month Uk visa twice in the past

I’m about applying for UK’s visitors visa.
I would like to know if TLS Victoria island accepts walk-in at the moment?
Also if I’m to go through Priority route will it be for 5days or would it be longer? Can someone help me out with the processing days used for priority

Due to the pressure on them at the moment I’ll say book an appointment, the day of my biometrics they didn’t take walk-In.

Priority is either 24 hours or 5 working days and no one can say for sure if it’ll be longer or shorter. .

Lately they’ve been under intense pressure due to many applications of course and timelines have taken longer but it seems September & October applicants are the most affected by this. So far things have been smooth for November applicants

Hi guys, I just got passport request!
I applied for SOWP earlier on but I realized it’s a long thing (still pending) so I reapplied for visitors visa on the portal on the 28th of October,2021. I didn’t receive any update till this morning . I have a valid US visa which I believe helped out cos I uploaded only passport, marriage certificate and my husbands study permit.. I am not even employed at the moment. I am so grateful to God. The mail dropped earlier today.

Congratulations! I also applied for a visitors visa on the 25th, still waiting for them , I have a valid usa visa too and I’ve been to the usa several times , the application was too short and too good to be true so I sent additional docs via webform.

I’ll advise everyone to scan their barcodes and sort out any imminent issue that may occur as a result of missing information or wrong spellings . I scanned mine and discovered name was misspelled, date of birth not there, I called and they sorted it for me.

Please what did you do. The date for both the 1st and second dose is showing as same date on the website when scanned. The whole family has missed their flight now. Well God knows best.

So sorry about this situation. But this our airport sef, couldn’t they just call the vaccination helpline to confirm instead of making them miss their flights

I think this 40 days something is real. I got a mail last Friday that my passport is out. Because of the weekend I got it on Tuesday via DHL. visa approved. Wishing everyother person on the waiting list success.

i just made a call to ukvi(the paid call) i was told my application status shows CLOSED.
further explanation was not given. he said he is sure it had been worked on. I still havent heard from them.
i applied for a visitors visa and had biometrics on 26th october even though on the tracking app status shows tranferred to VAC

What does closed mean ? Did you submit in ikeja also ? I had my biometrics in ikeja too on the 26th of October.
I’ll want to assume closed means your application has been concluded.

I always prefer to book with the airline directly so as to allow me maximum flexibility in case of change in plans. I use these websites to search and go to the airline directly to purchase .
My personal opinion & what works for me.

26th october but it was just yesterday it changed to transferred to vac and it is still there. Thats why i want to know if yours also just changed yesterday and today.

I am applying for my wife. She traveled to US and Canada in 2016. Both visas have expired. She
has valid UK and Schengen visas

That is the reason. If you’ve been there in the past 5 years or earlier the requirement of proof of financials will not be there but you can combine and upload in others if you still feel like showing proof

it seems we applied almost same time. please update me if they are keeping to their schedule, likewise will do on my end. i dnt want them to develop laziness because they have stopped travel from Nigeria, because it is not impossible for these guys according to their track record.

When I get my visa I’ll post my timeline here. For now I submitted on the 21st October, got biometrics letter 22nd , did biometrics 25th (it was updated immediately).

I’ve worn my shoe ready to go ikeja anytime the email drops.

Amen o amen o , I’m tired already. Mine is also on transferring since yesterday, so I called around past 8am to find out what’s going on, the lady said it’s still awaiting decision and that is what she can see on her system. I said but it’s transferring to VAC already she said maybe her system isn’t updated yet but what she can see on her end is awaiting a decision.

My 30th working day is just a few days away and this happens
