At least they should make decision before the proposed date arrives to avoid pending peoples visa.

If someone add the time they will still use for visa stamping, date will reach.

Hope you are aware that you can raise a web form if your 30 working days complete and no response on your application.

Thank you for telling me this , I wasn’t aware but now you’ve told me I’m aware and I’ll do that. Today is my 30th working day, I submitted on the 21st and had biometrics on the 25th

Debbie, did you also send get your PPR today? Seems currently on this thread, we are the only one who applied for Visit Visa without reuniting with Family member.

Want to know if the 30 working days is intact for our own case.

Nobody is disputing protecting their citizens here, everyone’s bone of contention is their refusal to conclude applications, return passports and issue a refund.

I didn’t pay for any added services, I paid just visa fees, any value service I pay right there with my card , I can’t pay those thieves ahead because next thing you’ll hear no refund

I cancelled my UK Visa application last month before my Biometric date because I wasn’t totally comfortable with the way they are handling application as at then.

Now this!, so sad, as people still have their passport with them.

I withdrew my application in September prior to submission because I had a quick trip to the usa and it was official, they didn’t give me my refund until October , at that point I just wanted my passport and they could take their time to refund I didn’t mind. See me in their deep shit again. I am angry

It makes no sense at all we are trying to live with a pandemic, covid has been around for good two years and it has been not been eradicated. Aren’t we meant to find a way to live with it and manage it properly , why ask people to pay £2400 for quarantine , people doing per hour per hour jobs cannot have £2400 on ground after paying bills ko possible! Then you’re asking someone to drop 2400 to quarantine.
If they know they don’t want to attend to applications and they’re overwhelmed it’s certainly not a problem please just return passports and refund visa fees.

I’m in para mode right now, just give me my passport and visa fees I don’t even want the visa again. What type of rubbish is this . They turned off the comment section of their instagram page posts.

UK has suspended processing visit visa applications until the travel restrictions is lifted.
This is sad and unjust.
Most of Europe this new variant, yet no travel restrictions.
For short of words, this action is somewhat racist.
God will help all still expecting their decision/passport.

By Monday, the Uk government will add Nigeria to red list country, will this affect the applications of people that have already applied for a visa since October? And will it affect the people that are applying from outside Nigeria with Nigerian passport?

There’s no entry clearance officer here to answer these questions except you want speculations

Yes I’m patiently waiting too and I’ll surely update the house on my timeline.

Strong financial and personal assets because there’s really not much you can do to travel history except you want to go to Dubai or South Africa or Kenya and return before applying for a visitors visa.

Good day everyone, I am a silent reader n I must commend all the efforts of everyone on this platform in making our dreams fruitful.
I did my biometric on the 3rd of Nov and received a mail from UKVIHUB that my application has reached UKVisit for DMC and more so I opted for KEEP MY PASSPORT. My questions are,
- Will I receive a mail from UKVI to submit my passport or would it come from TLS?
- At the time they ask for my passport, would my stage of application change from receive for DMC to transfer to VAC? Why I'm asking this question is because I noticed the tracking of my application is at transfer to VAC since on Monday.
- If eventually I was asked to bring my passport, who's placing the visa vignette on the passport (UKVI or TLS)? Or TLS would have to send my passport to the UK Embassy for the vignette to be placed?
- Lastly, how long would it take for them to return my passport after it was requested?

Your positive responses would ease my tension a lot because my application is now over 22 working days.

When a decision has a been taken you’ll be sent an email to take your passport to TLS for the visa. It’s nothing to worry about please

Global case management system. You have to apply via third party or anyone you know who resides in Canada. The officer will state the exact reason for refusal in the note as opposed to the generic reason given in the refusal letter sent to you .
If you have the exact refusal then you know what is the exact problem and can tackle it from there.

I think because my travel date is next year they’re not ready for me yet.
Congratulations to all those who got approved and congratulations ahead to those who didn’t get approved now because upon next application you’ll be approved by Gods grace. Re-strategize, address all the concerns of the VO or ECO in a strong LOE and with extra extra documentation and reapply.

Applied on 8th Nov for my younger sister... got a decision today Dec 3rd - it was rejected, letter says - I am not satisfied you will leave Canada at the end of your stay... due to "family ties in Canada and home country" and "travel history".

She's 17, just finished high school, and has a sister who's a PR in Canada. Has also previously been to UAE, Tanzania, Mauritius and one other country I think, on holiday. The travel history aspect of the refusal letter confuses me.

I'd appreciate any insight into how to correct our next application. For example, will enrolling in university here (which she already plans to do) help the situation at all? Any other tips?

She’s 17 going on visit I think you should tie her application to an adult.
At 17 yes she can apply for study permit for her UG program with all the requisites
Is she enrolled in any program now ? Say A-levels IGSCE and co ? If she is enrolled in any school for any of these programs let her get a letter from the school to support , ID card and co .

These are my thoughts, please other people should add too, I may have missed out something
