adeshna: Yes, I saw the mail. It was sent three days before the mail appeared. And its about three weeks now after the delivery to WES. I was thinking they should have acknowledged it, at least. Festivities, workload and holidays! Don’t worry they should acknowledge anytime soon hopefully. |

adeshna: I tracked my transcript sent from school Dec 11 and it has arrived Canada evaluation center and delivered on 15th but the WES website still shows that ... still waiting for your document.
Who has experienced this? Does it take so much time to reflect on the site? They have a new address although sending to the former address won’t invalidate your transcript it just slows the acknowledgement down a bit(read this in an email they sent briefing everyone on their change of address) |

But IELTS Liz I know is FREE! https://ieltsliz.com/ Someone took time to make free learning materials for people and you're going to pay? Please if you must pay for something, pay for tutor, not materials. Materials are abundant on the web, just search. Even on YouTube, plenty materials, just SEARCH! Wonders will not end o Yes Liz has paid version |

wondychiqe: Prophetess Debby.... Thank you for this. This little thing made me lose the draw last week because I wasn't sure. Truly knowledge is power. However, I was determined not miss today's draw so help me GOD. Please I have a few questions: when putting details for PGD for 2years: Level of education should be masters or professional license while level of education according to ECA should be 2years of diploma in an institute right?
Then also my primary noc will be one year in Jan, should I just use it or use my previous noc experience of 2years plus?
Please others can also weigh in Thanks so much Hi wondychiqe, the next draw should be next week Wednesday and not today , except there’s going to be a surprise draw which I highly doubt o because Oyinbo people take their work and holidays seriously. A pgd (a post graduate diploma)alongside your first degree isn’t equivalent to a masters degree, it’s 2 or more certs , please refer to the evaluation report you got from wes or any evaluation body you must have used. As for the NOC , I know you’re aware it has to be under 0,A or B you can claim your 3 years from. If your NOC didn’t fit the specifics the system would have found you ineligible, the basic requirement is at least one year of continuous work experience in 0,A or B once you’ve met this then you can merge other work experiences to make up for the 3 years. |

socially4fun: Thank you! I hope you won't be offended by my next question, but I just want clarity.
What if I apply for a remark and remain in the pool, and while waiting for the outcome, I get invited. And the IELTS remark changes my score. Will I be able to update my profile after ITA has been given on the previous result? The answer is yes , ITA doesn’t lock IELTS only AOR locks it. By implication you can edit your IELTS anytime before AOR |

socially4fun: Thank you so much. But after I have applied and waiting for the EOR verdict, can I remain in the pool with the old TRF? Or do I withdraw my EE application after applying for a remark? You’ll remain in the pool o , don’t withdraw any profile o. Wait for the outcome of your remark, when it comes hopefully after the holidays then you update the profile to reflect the new scores. All the best! |

socially4fun: Hi everyone, I really appreciate the contents here.
I have a question and would need your advice. I recently wrote IELTS on the 25th of November and the score came out 9/9/7/7 - L/R/W/S. My CRS score with that result is 468.
The current minimum CRS score for the last EE draw is 468, but I did not get invited because of the tie breaking rule.
The question now is, do I apply for a remark of my IELTS so I can get a score of 471 or above and stand better chance for ITA, or do I wait in the hope that the minimum score drops further in the next draw?
Also, if I apply for IELTS remark, do I need to withdraw my EE application? I'm saying that because I'm not sure the TRF would be valid for use during the EOR process. Since the 7/7 are from writing and speaking , these two components are objective and not subjective please reapply for remark and exhaust all options and hope crs next draw will drop |

Please trying to manage my funds now which do you think i should pay for first to avoid delay..wes is charging $230 for evaluation and my school 36050..which is urgent and necessary. Thank you sir/ma ..your replies are helpful..advise me,correct me and direct me ..i'm here to learn You need both , if you pay wes and you don’t send transcript you can’t get an evaluation and if you pay for transcript and don’t pay wes you won’t get an evaluation either |

awesomeme: Good evening all..thank you to all of you helping out with the questions. I am married with 2 kids and want to try relocating to canada with my family. I registered with WES yesterday for evaluation of my credentials and now have my reference number.. from what i read I understand they(wes) must get my transcript from my school before i can submit my credentials. I graduated from UNN . I have my Masters and B.Sc certificates .My question is can i continue to upload my credentials on WES without my transcript? I am yet to write to UNN postgraduate studies on that You’re to evaluate your highest degree with Wes , you can make payment and upload your certificate and send in your transcript from your school. |

Olisa222: Hello everyone, please I have 2 questions and would really love assistance.
1. Does points for years of experience increase with number of years? E.g is 3years different for 5yrs.....and so on
2. Is it advisable to get reference letter early, instead of waiting for ITA. Would they flag it? If I'm entering the pool early next year, can I get the letter this year? Thanks 3 years and above awards same points |

Bisunique25: I will go the federal high court for the declaration, thank you so much. Why don’t you rather go to the court that has jurisdiction over marriages for a declaration? This is just my opinion though. If you’re comfortable by FHC it’s okay |

Bisunique25: I’m accustom to the Marriage Act as I’m a lawyer myself but it seems IRCC main proof of marriage is the court certificate, so I’m trying to dots my I’s and cross my t’s right. Thanks for your contribution, i really appreciate. Even better you’re a lawyer, ircc recognises the customs unique to every country as they’ll say “local knowledge”. Nikkah is a very valid as a form of marriage in Nigeria, so I hope the experiences of others can douse your fears |

Lateralmaths: My passport expires June this year and it's very likely I get ITA January next year. Should I renew my passport early January or should I wait till it expires in June?
Thanks in anticipation of your wise counsels A renewal won’t hurt asides the fact that literally every embassy requires at least 6 months validity in your passport |

Limitlessbond: There are some documents expected from common law partners, do u have dem? I.e. living together, paying bills together, have an account together etc. U can't also use married because legally U are not. If Ur court wedding is slated for late January den I will suggest U wait till then before accepting ITA. I am assuming U are really interested in this cos Ur express entry profile already says u are married and u are claiming points from Ur spouse. Cos if not, the profile u created and which U will probably get ITA from was on false premise. So U may have to decline ITA and wait for the next one. This is my personal opinion let others weigh in. Lol no be small thing |
