Thanks Debbieeeeeee for your prompt response. IELTS results isn't out yet, but I am hopeful and confident we would hit top scores. The funny thing is even if we max, CRS points would still be around 450. It is well....
The PA should learn French. With 7-9 months intensive(If no prior knowledge of French) the PA should be ready for exams. Don’t forget, eyes on the goal! Do everything possible.
All the best with your IELTS results too. If your occupation is in demand in certain provinces too , look into those provinces.
I think lawyers are the most unfortunate for PNP embarassed because it’s a regulated profession and law is a degree that doesn’t cross borders.

Hi purespikes, as for your evaluation with Wes , your wife has evaluated her highest degree which is Msc and there’s no need evaluating the lower ones because it’s to no end, then you too what you can do is send in your masters transcript when your school opens, all those other lower certificates like ond and professional courses don’t matter when you have a masters(except a PHD).
As for pnp, I don’t know much but people who do will contribute, but I know pnp targets people with certain CRS scores and NOC’s .
French is also an option due to age. Did you max our IELTS ? For PA maxing our means 8.5,8,7.5,7.5 in LRWS and also for dependant maxing our is 8,7,7,7.

We are filling this thread up with Too many Basic Questions, for the past 50 pages now, its been nothing but simple questions whose answers can be found on IRCC website or ECA webiste . We will enter 700 pages of “ How do i start this process” and “How do i pay for Wes ?” Etc
To the newbies No one here works for those companies. Do ur research before coming here.

To the old / Experienced pple, i think you guys need to stop encouraging this behavior by not answering those type of questions

Lets be Guided
Exactly my thoughts

Hello everyone,

Glad to have found this thread. I just decided to start my Canada immigration journey this year and I understand that the first step is ECA. I created an account with WES today but I was unable to make payment. Please is there anyone that had the same issue and what did you Dj to complete the payment?
Thank you.
Many people have had this same issue and the alternative payment solution has been said in almost all pages of this thread.

This Canada journey is one that has to do with a lot of research because you’re spending your hard earned money on it whether you like it or not you will need to research and enlighten yourself.
I simple ignore some people who come to ask “repackaged” questions because I believe they should at least research 50 percent before coming to ask questions, but it seems as though they just want like a question and answer session and arrive at their destination sharply which doesn’t ever apply anywhere.
Please eh just read and read, I kid you not the cic.ca website is loaded with any information you may need and this thread from part one is also loaded with personal experiences from IRCC, Wetin you wan ask whey no already dey here ??
Reading won’t hurt anyone at all because you need the information, you’re spending your money and time so please read back and even do a simple google search and you’ll be shook your answers are sitting pretty on the Internet.
This thread is a DIY thread and let’s not encourage lazy minds, let’s keep the thread going with only meaningful conversations and recent trends and not repackaged questions and answers session.

Maybe you should send them a ready to travel email quoting your gcms notes that says everything has been approved. In fact, write anything you want in the email cheesy winkSomeone wrote to them this new year saying he doesn't want to live the year in anxiety, after waiting since 2019, that everything has been approved as per gcms notes, that if they don't want him to go, they should let him know...lol. It worked and they sent PPR within 2 days. You can also call, although that requires patience and perseverance cry. I wish you God speed
Ottawa VO? I know three people that have been approved going by their gcms note since middle of 2020 but no word from Ottawa VO till date and they’ve been sending ready for travel email and all

Thanks again! I just got the mail from WES with the details I need to get into the draw next week. Could you please help with another concern I have. I don't currently reside in Nigeria and I inadvertently booked a flight to Nigeria for next week and will be staying for a while. I have heard a lot about how difficult it is to do the post ITA medicals in Nigeria. Is it possible for me to do my medicals in my current location immediately after my ITA is confirmed next week? Like are you supposed to wait and be told when to do the medicals or you just do the medicals anytime after your ITA?
I don’t have an idea about this but you can just look up the approved medical centres where you are and also call them to ask them, I’m certain they’ll give you the right information.

Hello bro. Thank you for this valuable information. I faced a similar situation and my dashboard now has an expected date of February 5. Can I ask what exactly happens on this expected date? I am concerned because I really want to get into the pool for ITA in January.
Expected date means the date your evaluation will come through(be completed) but don’t worry it usually comes Before that date.

Thanks. I got a mail from them today that they received it and have sent mail to my school to verify.
Working on the verification now.
This verification part is the part that actually delays, make sure you’re on it with the person in charge of verification In your school, if not they’ll just waste your time for nothing.

Good day all , please i need the experts in the house their advice, just logged into cic site and imputed my detailed with my ielts score of
Listening 7.5
speaking 8.0
Reading 6.0
writing 6.0

but it came back ineligible, please note i have masters , 37yrs,my husband has not wirtten ielts and his BSC is still in view. what could be the problem.
God bless you
You’ll have to retake the IELTS exam and with your age you have to aim to max out all modules (L 8.5 R 8 W 7.5 S 7.5) then your spouse too will take IELTS and do his ECA , he will aim for L8,7,7,7 (so you can get the full 20 points for spouse language)
Also you’ll take French to boost your scores since you already have a masters degree.
All the best!
