nogara: Hi Guys,
Please does anyone know how to restore a declined ITA. A friend of mine mistakenly pressed the decline button on his ITA and realized that his application link has been wiped out of his account. Is there any solution to this? please your response would be highly appreciated. Tell him to contact IRCC as they “may” be able to help out. He may be lucky and don’t forget to bring a feedback so we can learn |

Travelpes: Hello house, Please if the secondary applicant’s job role falls in a NOC, but her qualification (MBA,B.Eng) is different from the one indicate in the basic qualification requirement of the NOC e.g bsc in political science. Can she use that NOC? The secondary applicants work history or NOC is inconsequential as it does not add points to your application (Move to personal history) except it’s work experience gained in Canada. |

isaacola57: can u tell me how it is You’ll sit in front of a computer . On a very serious note, it’s nothing spectacular. Listening is first , followed by reading and then writing. For writing I used Liz and it really helped me , I learned how to write the background & thesis statement(for introduction) and also a good conclusion and on my second attempt I made 7.5 in writing as opposed to 6.5 I had previously when I wrote a longgggg essay. For reading, it’s just being able to read and comprehend whatever they’ve paraphrased because IELTS is really big on paraphrasing, also choosing an appropriate heading for the short write ups. Speaking depends on your ability to contract words and also speak meaningfully and coherently without pausing too much. Listening gave me problem because I dey always lose concentration And it was as though I was unlucky with the questions shuffled to me so I scored 7.5 twice in listening. I’ll share my IELTS story soon. |

benmac4sure: Gurus in the house, please which Evaluation body is good for evaluating Medical Laboratory Science?
Also, we want to apply as a couple, do we need to have a different e.g WES profile? Or single profile? Separate WES profiles regardless of being married. As you are two separate entities in the eyes of the law. |

Jobola1: Are there two test bodies organizing the IELTS? I usually hear of Mod, British council and IDP.
Please who can explain this to me?
Clearly everyone should avoid this IDP in my opinion. Their CEO is clearly a thief. MOD is IDP. On the issue of avoiding who , lol it depends on which body you want to take the test with. Both bodies have their shortcomings and everyone has something to say about either of them. Their CEO is just an entrepreneur that has made it in life , British council too has made so much money that we can’t even tell. When I wrote with BC I didn’t get my desired scores but when I wrote with IDP I improved majorly , it’s just a personal opinion though. |

hedonister: Hello Guys, I hope your sunday is going well.
I finally summoned courage to go down this route but being someone who likes doing feasibility study to see if i can be selected, i used that CRS tool to see my possible score and it is 416 which is a far cry from the 471 minimum required. I reallydo not want to waste my time but then i added that i have a provincial nomination and the thing shot up to almost 1000.
What i want to know now is, what is the likelihood of someone getting nominated by a province? Aim for 8.5,8,7.5,7.5 LRWS in IELTS and also take French. If your occupation is in demand in any province in Canada you’ll get a nomination. Just try to increase your scores and be resilient no matter how many times you retake IELTS. Always bear in mind that Canada is the goal , so matter how long it takes the aim is to get there. |

esosa4real: I can imagine. For listening, keep fingers crossed, bearing in mind that it would take you to fail atleast 10 questions to fail (below .
For writing, i pray you get above 6 5. Because its advised to always finish up and check for errors once you hear "5 mins remaining".
It's actually this unchecked error that cuts marks and reduces the points.
Please let us know when you pass. It is well. Anything below 8 in listening means rewriting and to get 8 in listening thats 35-36 or so . |
