elohim24: Nope... you will need trf number to complete your application I’ve been filing out my profile while awaiting my IQAS evaluation, you can fill out other sections and save and continue later but you can’t submit neither can you get in the pool. |

Kekereekun123: you are not filling anything for spouse work experience until you get ITA and it goes into personal history section. Only spouse experience gotten in canada should be filled pre ita. So I’ll just ignore then. Although I’m yet to submit because I don’t have my evaluation yet , I was wondering was it was asking for spouses details |

Hi people, I’m trying to fill out our profile pending when my evaluation comes in. For my spouse i was asked about his work experience. He has been a banker throughout his working career and in the same bank. Should I just fill from so so so year to so so so year as an illustration 2006-2020, or I should break down all the roles he has held in the bank till date.
I’ll appreciate any assistance I can get |

Blackfinegirl: That was why I said nothing, as in it won't make any changes at all. nothing may change because over the past few years they have witnessed a lot of overstay from Nigerians and birth tourism (Some didn’t even pay their bills). I just wish this thread can return to the way it used to be during the days of phema, LadyG and the others. |

slydog: Then I guess we all do what gives us peace. I used just TD letter, it had everything they want, the amount, a financial institution, phone numbers and email with which they can verify authenticity, in addition to my pension reference letter and statement. My application is in OVO, I have passed Eligibility, criminality and medical, only security outstanding for me. You just said the word! Someone on a WhatsApp group for lawyers that I’m In , used the reference letter From the bank in the Prescribed IRCC format only, without any statements or anything and she’s in Canada now. |

Pls how were you able to cope, was it stressful at all doing it all in one day For BC I took LRW from 9-11:30 then speaking at 12 , for IDP I took speaking at 9:30 and took LRW at 11am. It wasn’t stressful. It’s just a 20 minutes conversation and before you know it’s over . No need to worry about anything |

oty1993: IELTS Schedule question. Please guys, how many days before my IELTS exam will my speaking test be set. (estimated time) I have three weeks to prepare, so I just need to know when to expect it. Thanks When I did with BC , speaking was same day. With IDP I saw some people who scheduled their speaking Test for a separate date, I scheduled mine for same date with idp. It’s all your choice. I hope I got your question correct |

Before I finally commented on this thread I’d been a silent follower of the previous threads and I was not interested in relocating to Canada until a few months ago. I was on Nairaland with a previous username and very popular in the birthing thread because I had my babies thanks to the knowledge gained on there. I was greeted with so much sarcasm when I first wrote on this thread but I didn’t allow that deter me , I held on to those who gave me Positive answers to the questions I sought clarification on. One time I made a comment about people being rude and overbearing on this thread because it was getting annoying, People especially newbies were scared to ask questions and some people made comments- like how was this person rude but I ignored because I won’t engage in any form of argument whatsoever with anyone I don’t even know from anywhere. Everyone needs to tone it down , you don’t know anyone on here and we are only here to help to the best of our knowledge. If you can’t help just jump and pass don’t bother asking snide remarks , rude comments or emojis. |

croxx86: I realized that I made a mistake in my EE profile. In the Education History section for the question 'Since what year', I entered the End date of my Master's degree and for 'Current study section' I entered 'Yes'.
I got the ITA, and while completing the detailed application I realized it should have been start date, and Current study section should have been 'No', since i have already completed it. And only when you select 'No' ,To Date field is generated, which should be the end date.
What should be my course of action, should i decline the ITA or should I mention this mistake in my LOE. Did anyone else faced similar problem? You decline ITA when the errors made are material enough to reduce the points you claimed. In your situation that’s not the case. |

bekayy: Thanks a lot for your feedback. Hopefully you shall hear the goodnews of your ECA soon. I hope their timeline is faster now. My sis document got to CA Sept 30. They just acknowledged it Oct 29 with in line for processing. We hope to get it done by Dec. I saw someone here who's ECA got finished in a month after IQAS received it. Hopefully that will be our case. Good luck to us. They’re obviously overwhelmed now ,they have a payment window of 15 minutes daily. I’ll generally advise anyone sending now to do so via email, those who send via email get faster responses compared with those who sent via courier like me. After acknowledging, everything moves fast. I’ll update once I get my ECA because it’s been a rollercoaster |

Nice idea you gave. Thumbs up. What my friend was she applied as single, got ITA And submitted her docs, married 2 months post AOR and added spouse to her application. |
