ballabriggs: When their Governors prevented Fulani herdsmen from going into their zones, it was the right thing but Lagos stopping the nuisance is the wrong thing.

Hypocrites!!! One moment they want Biafra, the next moment they want to own Lagos. They are littered all over Nigeria as if they will allow others to be in their places in a similar way.
So tell me...who owns Lagos? Who owns the major private conglomerates in Lagos such as Coscharis and others? Tell me what major company in Lagos owned by a yoruba man? I know you'd mention Globacom (reminder: It is a venture jointly owned by IBB, Adenuga and the rest)
All you møгøns know is chest beating and noise-making! We developed Lagos so we own it! If the Ibos decide to carry out a mass exodus out of Lagos, it would become a desolate land covered with sh.it! Even Fowlshola and Tinubu knows it! So stop barking and run into your cage. Bingo

Onlytruth: The fact remains that if Lagos state is tired of the Nigerian project, it should go ahead and secede today.
What Lagos is doing is CRIMINAL VIOLATION of Nigerian citizens CONSTITUTIONAL rights.

When Igbo got tired of Nigeria in 1967, we sacrificed 2 million of our people to try to secede. To me that is a demonstration of seriousness and bravery.

This cowardly backdoor secession won't work.

We Ndigbo really should hold the IG accountable because it seems that the IG is constantly making NIGERIAN POLICE men available for these types of open violation of the Nigerian constitution.

Our governors should hold Jonathan's feet to fire over the IG's indirect support for discrimination against innocent Nigerians by cowards who can't speak directly.
Well said! What do you expect from the people of the SW who are bunch of cowards and never-do-well møгøns who only bark and not bite? You displaced destitutes from Lagos? Why not attempt to displace traders who make up the crux of Alaba Market and computer village just to mention a few, then we will see who truly owns Lagos?
Eko ni bad jest!

The Oyo State capital was thrown into confusion on Tuesday when a middle-age woman, Ramota Salawu, raised the alarm thata fish she bought at Gege area of the town suddenly turned into a half human.

Hundreds of residents trooped to Akindele Compound, Gege, to catch a glimpse of the ‘miracle fish’ in a bucket where it was kept.

Ms. Salawu, who claimed to have bought the strange fish at Oke Ado, where she usually buys the item, claimed that it developed into aliving being shortly after it defrosted.

Goldenboy007: PortharcourtBoy - I just had the opportunity to read your replies, trust me i understand what you going through and i also understand the frustration that made both of you bring your situation to the public anonymously.

I can't deny it, I know women very very very very very very well !!!!! can you count the number of "very" ? I know what they are capable of doing !! i know how they would be the one to look for trouble and the first one to shout wolf wolf !!!
Without reading your replies i already knew there was more to it than she had been saying,so it was good you were able to reply. An unrestricted forum like this isn't an ideal source for the the type of counseling you both need, even teenagers have access to comment here so you can imagine the types of comments you would receive. I respect you for trying to make your relationship work by going ahead with the wedding despite her shortcomings, not many men would do that and trust me it is this same people your wife would report you to by writing "My wicked Fiance jilted me after 8 years of courtship" and they would have condemned you as they are doing now.

However, I would fault you for running out of patience, i can understand how you must have continuously endured the frustration but you lost a good point by hitting her, the modern society favors women so it would count against you.
I know you have worked so hard to build a good life for yourself so don't allow someone to ruin it for you by making you vulnerable to costly mistakes. If she reports this over here, police won't listen to your side at all o, you would be handcuffed immediately for domestic assault!

Sir, try make it work. You have been with her for more than 8 years so i know there is something you like about her. Seek counsel from your family elders or pastors, don't believe leaving her you can find a better woman out there o, trust me i know this when i tell you the difference between them are not much. For the sake of that innocent child work at it because no marriage is perfect, everyone just try to hide their own and would rather pass judgement on others!

Take care and i wish God intervenes in your marriage.
The best analysis and advice ever!

If i must also add, the movies that make me cry until tomorrow are just hollywood movies and they are: 1. Gladiator...the scene where Maximus died and 2. Spartacus...the scene where Spartacus' wife was brought back to him in the Ludux where she also died. I think what moves me to tears in these movies are the songs played in the scene. cry
TV/Movies › Re: Nollywood Movies That Made You Cry? by Decryptor(m): 6:12pm On Jul 20, 2013
Afam4eva: Definitely not the NIgerian movies of today. The Nigerian movies of today can make one shed tears only because of how bad these movies are.

Now to the question, I think the Nigerian movies of over 10 years ago could make me do the tear ish. I can remember "My Love" starring Ramsey Noah and Chiege Alisigwe.
You are absolutely right Afam. Nollywood movies of today have nothing to awaken my emotions unlike the vintage ones of the 90s. I remember the movie (i think the name is "Accused" or something like that) where 2 brothers wanted to travel abroad and their step mother planted some narcotics in their luggages. They were arrested and made to face some serious investigation and torture before being finally sentenced to death by firing squad. The way the young men pleaded their innocence with tears and emotion laden voices prior to the time they would have been executed looked so real that it brought tears to my eyes and my neighbor whom i was watching it in her house.
Another one was the movie where Earnest Asuzu was being maltreated by his step mother in his own father's house after his father's death. It's an old movie too and i can't remember the name of that one though.
