Hello house,pls it is advisable to apply for study permits with a sponsor who is a citizen in Canada?

Hello house, I greet everybody. Please I sent a mail to CIC last week Wednesday requesting for an on my application. They replied me on Tuesday, stating that:

" My application is in queue for their officer's review of your response to our procedural fairness letter. We will contact you if further information is required".

I am happy that my mail was responded to, and out of impulse, I was almost sending them another mail yesterday, you know, urging them politely that they should hasten up with the review of my application because will be resuming on the 5th and I have been given till on the 8th of Sept to resume classes. Then I thought about it the second time, and decided to give them some time before sending any mail again.

This is my question, please does anybody have any clue how long it may take CIC to review the procedural fairness letter I wrote to them?

Secondly is it possible that they have already concluded the background check and want to start reviewing the fairness letter?

Pls share the details of the mail you sent like the title and sample of the content of the mail. When did you apply and which route? They didn't reply me when I sent them mail. I applied on May 4,online route

1-)insufficient fund and available resources
2-)Purpose of visit
3-)Travel history

please i want to apply for GCMS note. I want you guys to clarify me, whether I'm to fill the GCMS note form first before applying or I'm i to pay first before filling the form?

Please my gurus. I applied for my Visa on 18th may, 2017. No upfront medical. But got a mail on 5th July to go ahead for my medical which I did on 7th July, 2017. Please do I need to mail the document given to me by the Hospital to the embassy or what do I do with the document?

More so, I need your advice on request made by cic on Thursday to show evidence of school fee payment plus living expenses after indicating that I am scholarship from Nigeria with my award letter attached, plus two Co sponsor having 11 Million and 5million naira respectively in their account. Attached is the image of the request made by the cic. Kindly advice me.

I did not get any mail from cic again today meanwhile i just checked my account today and i found "we are reviewing whether you meet eligibilty requirements"

As at when i apllied till now my update has just been about processing your background checks

And does anyone knows how long this eligibility stuff take?

I applied first week in May and my eligibility is yet to be processed still on background check processing

o alright sir. U know this strike issue is really bothering me that's why am trying to plan my life ahead so that once I graduate from this institution all the information I gathered will be useful and the processing will be easy

Ladokites are many here o. I've already applied for visa to continue my UG program I used the strike thing in my LOE.

I just got a mail from CIC requesting for my passport.
Without any request for proof of fund transfer...it can only be Oluwa! He's fully involved.

I am just overjoyed.

Canadian nurse and other applicants, please, was the proof of "fund export" request sent as a separate mail or was it requested via your application portal (as it is with the medical request).

Also, did the two requests (medical and fund export) come in together at the same time.

I will really appreciate your responses.

So they don't give those that gained admission to colleges visa. I've been accepted into Keyano college(uni undergraduate program) and I've submitted my online application for visa. I did my biometrics on may 8. My uncle in Canada helped me to apply.

Good Morning House, Am worried about the medicals I went for last week Tuesday and am yet to receive any result concerning it..And again a friend of mine did his biometrics since Jan 19( over 16weeks) now and he has not received any mail.Pls what could have caused the delay? Because the delay is really killing.
