The reality is that a man doesn't NEED to settle down, until he desires to do so .... and some choose to never mature and instead play the field forever....and then, when they reach NED's (or Oshiomhole's) age, they can find some woman (a 3rd younger than their age) to start a family with.

The researchers concluded that brain maturation is characterized by a long-term development of functional and structural networks that extend into adulthood.

Men take quite a bit longer to mature.


The study aimed to discover which functions change during the maturation process and which remain constant. Researchers examined the brains of 121 participants aged 4 to 40 years through MRIs. Tracking the differences while taking into account the gender and age of the participants.

The result showed that although the brains of both women and men ultimately have the same potential to function in everyday life, men often exhibit some delay in the long-term development of functional networks compared to women.

It can continue for up to about 40 years.

1. It doesn’t necessarily solve your relationship problems

When you choose to go on a break, it does not mean that things will automatically get good when you come back together.

The key to then making it work afterwards is to address the reasons why you went on a break. Otherwise, you are just going to end up back in the same situations you were in before you went on that break. The best thing is to find common grounds, and ways to compromise, and make things work, rather than staying apart from your partner.

2. Temptation to have other affairs sets in

With a relationship break comes the freedom to entertain others. Don’t think it won’t happen, it definitely does, it will amaze you how an adult craves for companionship and attention, especially when it is coming from an attractive member of the opposite sex.

3. Doubts could creep in

It’s only natural to question your relationship if you’re headed for a break. Questions like; are we really doing the right thing at all? Are we even supposed to be together? Is this relationship even strong enough to weather the storm? Do we have what it takes to build a future together?

These are questions that will set in your heart and cause doubts about the whole relationship... no relationship is easy, hence if we decide to be weak, we could as well loose the relationship, if that love is worth it, keep building it, do not uproot it.

4. Bad advisers/friends will try to convince you to move on: We all have some nosy friends, who are always trying to hook us up with a benefactor,friend,cousin etc, once they see you are alone for days/weeks, they quickly jump in, to invite you to a glamorous dinner party, or wedding, to end up hooking you up with someone else, the temptation is always there, so if you think your relationship is worth it, get creative, and be humble enough to back down, or give in, a little sorry, or show of remorse, might be all it takes to get your relationship back on track.

Larry King‘s decision to file for divorce from Shawn Southwick King did not come as a shock to those who knew the couple well.

Though Larry and his seventh wife were married for 22 years, a source stated, that their divorce was “a long time coming,” especially after Larry’s recent health scare and Shawn’s alleged affair in 2016.

“Larry was close to dying and it really shook him,” the source says. “He realized that he hadn’t been happy for a long time.”

“They fought and argued all the time,” the source continues. “But also it’s about protecting his kids. Shawn and Larry had essentially been separated for a decade. They sleep in separate bedrooms.”

“Larry is no saint, but he was tired of all the drama,” the source adds, confirming that previous reports of Shawn’s alleged affair were true. “This was a long time coming. The marriage has been over.”

Shawn did not immediately respond to request for comment.

Larry and Shawn, 59, wed on Sept. 5, 1997. They share two sons: Chance, 20, and Cannon, 19.

On Tuesday, Larry’s lawyer confirmed that he had filed for divorce from Shawn after nearly 22 years of marriage. The Blast first reported news of the split.

According to court documents Larry filed on Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court. He cited irreconcilable differences, and the date of separation is listed as June 6, 2019.
