Benin has been in the news lately for every wrong thing! Sad. |
The purported letter from VP to the President looks very very fake. The VP who is a professor of law and a SAN cannot in my opinion sign such a terrible letter filled with grammatical errors. Its fake. |
Beginning of the End for PM or is it end of the beginning? |
Johnbosco77:Too much terrible grammar! |
Whenever Osinbajo is at the helm things move forward and quite fast. What else are we waiting for? Nigerians just like corrupt people and that is why they are mentioning some very corrupt men in that picture. Goes to show that the electorate itself is not mature for great democracy. Fayose is not a Trump! He is far from it. Trump did not rise by eating Amala on the streets. Like Trump or hate Trump, he has his solid credentials in the business sector. |
bedspread:Anyone with knowledge of South West knows that Fayose can only win his state and possibly add some South East states. he cant get there and he knows. In SW he is a complete nonentity. He is perceived as an unserious human. When did you see Ambode or Amosun ating kpomo pn the streets? Those silly things dont work with enlighetened people! |
Uber is fading in many places. It is no doubt a nice disruptive idea and technology but the aspect of recruiting drivers will continue to be a snag. Way forward for Uber is to start driverless cars in places where those cant work, but they will have to contend with Google in this space. |
No decent lady will dress up like this. It goes beyond dressing. They have come there with a mission. Destiny destroyers, these ones. |
hills? |
These Jonathan man and woman just dont get it! Comparing yourself with Mitchelle Obama? Chai. |
Has he gone there to pick his 8th degree? |
Atiku's agents are at large.. |
efighter:Haba, cool temper! |
MKO was right. Africa should demand reparation. This white forgot that America ( by default Miami) was built with the labour of African slaves! Give us what you stole from us and see us develop machines for our dogs too. |
Put it this way. One of the three may want to keep it but anything could happen while he is having a small glass. Except he has stopped the rumoured habit. The second is rumoured to be a serial looter. It may not be anything more than rumours though. So no need to even try him. The third has not really been known to steal. TSA was said to swell under him. He is in fact said to be a sheriff. COMMONSENSE makes my choice quite easy! |
Should a child blame God for coming to the world through parents living in Ibadan and not in Ikoyi? Nigeria and Nigerians should stop saying that our geographical composition is a mistake! Nigeria is not a creation of Luggard. We are beyond that now. Nigeria should be and should be built. What we have seen in the country is a continued exploitation of our weaknesses by the ruling elite. I have no problem with a northerner. I have lived there and I know they are labourous and human. The South East and South South have sterling qualities. South West people are good. Let us stop describing ourselves by the few minorities who are into kidnapping, 419 and other vices. Vices exist in every nation. It is right for any part of the nation to complain. My grouse with the NK movement was that they started spreading hate and lies and creating a falsehood that biafra will be an utopian state. It is not true. If you have Bifara, there will still be marginalization there and the exploiters will likely still take advantage of the uneducated masses. Have you not seen how some of the governors there have ravaged their states and have virtually become richer than the states they governed? Nigeria needs a lot of education. Our problems started when NPN stopped the push on education on the guise that they were creating 'quality education'. With that they left the poor out of the equation. At that same time you had a Jakande in Lagos who built schools everywhere and made it an offence not to send you children to free schools. Do you wonder why Lagos stands out today and why everyone from East and North are pouring into Lagos? Stop the lies. Stop the hate. Use your vote (which is your power) to unelect rogues and never again vote people with questionable credentials. If we keep voting for goats, we will continue to see the squandering of our resources. |
SENATORS - About time the Senate is scrapped. We dont need dancing senators again. |
The school is waiting for one of our past presidents, VPs, or governors to buy it up! From the proceeds of corruption, of course. Yet, the poor masses are playing kid gloves with corruption that has ravaged the soul of the nation! Sit down there make you de look! |
Fake universities. Fake degrees. Senators with fake academic awards. Reps with fake certificates. Fake NYSC camps. Fake NYSC certificates. Fake medical schools. Fake doctors. Fake nurses. Fake lawyers. Fake land owners. Fake tenants. Fake landlords. Fake contracts. Fake currencies in circulation. Fake dollars. Fake wives. Fake husbands. Haba! Why so many fakes? Perhaps because officials in high places carry fake credentials. |
Correct! Way to go. |
Whose business? Everything gets viral these days. |
Yesterday, Turkey citizen ranting against PMB. Guns exported from Turkey to Nigeria seized sometime back. The ranting Turkish man is fighting for IPOB. Who owns the guns? |
The same 'brother' who told us a few days ago that they wont tell government the whereabout of Kanu? |
989900:And when they are through with 'blocking' the executive they proceed to Nottinghill and Atlanta on dance parades! And the people hail them, forgetting that you dont spend Naira in Nottinghill! |
9japrof:Peace to you. One question - What should CBD do with its USD earning? Should they hoard it? At some point they stopped selling USD and the whole nation cried out. Now they have shored up the forex reserve and they are selling something to the market and we want to complain again? What is the point of making money and not spending? The story from the Senate is misleading - CBN selling forex to the banks is not the same as 'spending' forex. Sadly, so many people have fallen for the dummy! |
SBG04:Thanks so much. |
In Nigeria everyone you meet wants to pretend to be an economist! First, Senate has a sinister motive, so you should be careful when reading news from them. It may be false. Go to the black market and ask - Demand for USD has fallen significantly. This is because it no longer pays for people to buy dollars and use it as savings! Nigerian Senate has been leading the fight against anti-corruption. When you hear that corruption will fight back, that's our Senate. They spend 9 months in a year tearing apart FG's budget but they refuse to disclose to Nigerians how they spend billions of dollars annually. The lower house has its own - it is called padding! Now to the Naira - when it depreciates, Nigerians are the first to cry to high heavens! Sorry, who wants to buy a bottle of Coke at N500? In a country where some states cannot even pay minimum wage of N18,000 per month! Smart countries know how to defend their resources. Britain subsidises tube transport by millions of pounds every day and they also subsidise health. America stoutly defends its agriculture. China protects its Yuan so stoutly, so that they dont get into a vicious cycle. They do that while they develop their agric and industrial base. Once their output is high they can liberalize their economy, because at that point their spendings of USD would have reduced. There is a lot of divestment going on - Some states in the East have started exporting agric produce. States like Kebbi have grown rice and reduced the forex spent on rice imports substantially! So, Senate wants to teach us Economics! Start at home. Make your budget transparent. The truth is Nigeria needs a window, where it protects its currency, while it boosts its local production, so that Naira does not free-float into perdition! Free-floating opens the door for speculators to start piling pressure on the Naira buy hoarding dollars. There is no end in that tunnel! People talk senselessly about free-floating. Try that when your local production is low and see hyper-inflation speed your economy into doom! Economics 101. Our Senate is haunted by their many sins. They are the ones holding us to ransom. |
okerekeikpo:Biafra wont be better. It is made of lies and deceit. The new emperors will milk you and turn you to their ATM, worse than Nigeria. |
So pathetic. Nigerians play kid gloves with corruption not knowing that this is the root of our problems. There are 5 Nigerians that you can name - former senators, former governors, former customs officers, former directors of ministries, former this, former that - all of them who have not owned or run any successful business other than being former public office holders, yet FIVE of them can equip 500 hospitals to global standards! If you mention their names now their town's people will come after you. Yet their towns have nothing - no roads no hospitals. These pathetic things happen every day because Nigerians pay kid gloves to corruption and continue to support and vote for very corrupt persons. My own mind is made up - I wont vote for all of these very corrupt persons again. I am sure you know who they are. |
He is not probably not concerned that his spectators are not in school at this time! |
Atiku knows the north wont vote him because they know him inside out...so he is trying to woo the south because he thinks southerners are gullible! |
IkpuMmiri:Or Biakiti? |
